(3. Roman triumphs - holy red face
Wiki: The Roman triumph (triumphus) was a civil ceremony and religious rite of ancient Rome, held to publicly celebrate and sanctify the success of a military commander who had led Roman forces to victory in the service of the state or, originally and traditionally, one who had successfully completed a foreign war.
One funny ritual is the fact, that the leader of the procession, the triumphator, painted his face in red. A red coloured face was the face of the god Jupiter, so for one day the triumphator could feel as divine as humanly possible.
Brit-Am Significance:
We trace the Ancient Romans, some of the Germans, and others to Esau who was also known as Edom which names means "RED."
