1. Question from Charles in Britain

#1. The Need to Know Before the Return.
[Message Slightly Adapted.
Please Note:
We have hidden the identity of the inquirer.
[Contrary to what some may have suspected the "Charles" spoken of here is not  the one whose mother is Queen Elizabeth.]

Hello, I think your work is very helpful I enjoy your videos and manner of delivery. I guess I should contribute if I think its useful ... I do have funds.
The question is this, in my mind is to what end is this information, I mean to say how should one act upon it ? I already worked out the basics myself.
I concluded some time ago that the Europeans and the British were some form of descendents of the 10 tribes or even Judah, my wife... we suspect ... is descended from a Spanish Sephardic Jew.
It seems to me its good to have this information but if there is no possibility or requirement to reside in Israel or to be part of some movement of return, to what end do we know these things?
So the important question as it appears to me is if this is important, should not we, I mean for instance my wife and I, should not we be doing something about it ?
Or if we cannot do something about it then it remains an item of historical interest.
It seems its important but I do not know what one should do with the information
Best regards and thank you for your work
Regards
Charles

2. The Need for Research (Jeremiah 31:21).
Brit-Am Reply:
Shalom,
Our understanding is that:
The Lost Ten Tribes are among Western Peoples.
They may (or may not) be a minority in some cases but they are, and they have been, historically significant, and from their ranks will emerge the Ten Tribes when they return.
This knowledge should be made known as much as possible.
Existing research findings need to be upgraded and added to and publicized. New research needs to be encouraged.
Jeremiah 31:
21 Set up for yourself roadmarks [Hebrew: "Tsionim," i.e. Megalithic Monuments],
Place for yourself guideposts [Hebrew: "Tamrurim," i.e. Cairns],
Direct your mind to the highway,
The way by which you went.
Return, O virgin of Israel,
Return to these your cities.
We also work to enhance the Biblical understanding and appreciation of our followers, to encourage them to live good lives, and to feel a reconciliation with Judah.
This is what we do, what we can do, and what we want to do. Anything beyond this is in effect theorizing.

3. Implications for Ten Tribes Peoples as a Whole; Returning to Syria, Lebanon, Samaria, Jerusalem
Indications from the Bible. [This is our understanding only!]
The Lost Ten Tribes will return as a whole to the Lands of Greater Israel that encompass most of the Middle East.
They shall return first to Syria:
Micah 7:
14: Shepherd Your people with Your scepter,
The flock of Your possession
Which dwells by itself in the woodland,
In the midst of a fruitful field.
Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead
As in the days of old.
 and to Lebanon,Â
Zechariah 10:
10 Â I will bring them back from the land of Mitsrayim
And gather them from Assyria;
And I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon
Until no room can be found for them.
after that some of them will move to Samaria and to Jerusalem in the present-day State of Israel.
Jeremiah 31:
4 Â Again I will build you and you will be rebuilt,
O virgin of Israel!
Again you will take up your tambourines,
And go forth to the dances of the merrymakers.
5 Again you will plant vineyards
On the hills of Samaria;
The planters will plant
And will enjoy them.
6 For there will be a day when watchmen
On the hills of Ephraim call out,
Arise, and let us go up to Zion,
To the LORD our God.
Before then they may have suffered much from wars and disasters.

4. The Interim Role of Christianity
At first they will be, or have been, mostly Christians.
See:
Christianity as an Identifying Sign
http://hebrewnations.com/articles/biblical-proof/attributes/rolenotsrim.html
Their form of Christianity will have had a positive effect and have served to bring them closer.
Eventually they shall leave Christianity. Whether this happens before they come back to the Land (as indicated e.g. 1:11, Deuteronomy 30:1, pointed out to by Steve Mathe) or after it is not certain. It is not something that concerns us at present.
The Ten Tribes shall re-unite with Judah and accept some form of Judaism without necessarily overduly intermixing with the Jews.
The Israel Tribal Accreditation of each Tribe shall be made known to every individual. The Tribes shall dwell separately alongside each other (Ezekiel chapter 48).
Those of non-Israelite descent who have come with them and identified with them will be attached to whatsoever Tribe they live among, and be given full citizenship.
Ezekiel 47:
21 So you shall divide this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel.
22 You shall divide it by lot for an inheritance among yourselves and among the aliens who stay in your midst, who bring forth sons in your midst. And they shall be to you as the native-born among the sons of Israel; they shall be allotted an inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
23 And in the tribe with which the alien stays, there you shall give him his inheritance, Â declares the LORD God.

5. The Task of the Individual as a Private Person
What the Individual Should do Now!
a. Jews.
Jews should be religious and keep the Torah. The Orthodox version of Judaism is in our eyes the only one that is valid.
Missionaries, etc, should be avoided.
Non-Jews who genuinely wish to convert should be enabled to do so and even assisted BUT (in most cases) they should not be encouraged.
Many of them may not be suited for such a process and therefore should not undertake it.
At all events this is something we are not involved with.
b. Non-Jewish Israelites
Some should perhaps convert to Judaism BUT for most this is not an advisable option at present.
If they so wish, it may be that from a Biblical point of view they can remain Christian for the time being. It is what the Bible indicates.
We think they should take the position attributed to Pelagius (380-418 CE) the early British (Welsh or Scottish) Churchman.
Pelagius is said to have taught that salvation may be found either within the Jewish Law or within his understanding of Christian. Both, said he, were valid pathways.
Non-Jewish Israelites on the whole should not at present try to come and live in Israel unless they first undergo a genuine Orthodox Jewish conversion.
The Bible should be learnt and Biblical Principles abided by.
A person should believe in God, learn the Bible, marry, raise a family, earn a living, be a positive member of his community and nation.
The State of Israel should be supported and the Jews treated well.
c. Non-Jewish non-Israelites who feel attracted to our message.
In some cases these may convert to Judaism and in other instances live among Non-Jewish Israelite peoples.

6. Tithes
Tithes should be given. Who the recipient is to be is up to the giver to decide. Brit-Am does not disqualify itself and believes in the efficacy of offerings to be valuable to the person giving.
Malachi 3:
10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be [p]food in My house, and test Me now in this,' says the LORD of hosts, 'if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.

7. The Long Run is the Most Important
So that's it as far as we can say.
In a concrete sense we are not offering anything other than a possible confirmation of Israelite ancestry.
This however may well be more important and more helpful in the long run than anything else.
