1. Introduction.
Isaiah speaks of the End Times. He describes Judah and Ephraim re-uniting.
Judah means the present-day Jews. Ephraim represents the Lost Ten Tribes especially those of English-speaking lands.
Isaiah explains that the Ten Tribes will return along with the Jews from their places of Exile. Ephraim and Judah will forget their past differences and re-unite.
They shall then fight against their mutual enemies and defeat them.
Isaiah 11:
10 ON THAT DAY THE ROOT OF JESSE SHALL STAND AS A SIGNAL TO THE PEOPLES; THE NATIONS SHALL INQUIRE OF HIM, AND HIS DWELLING SHALL BE GLORIOUS.
11 ON THAT DAY THE LORD WILL EXTEND HIS HAND YET A SECOND TIME TO RECOVER THE REMNANT THAT IS LEFT OF HIS PEOPLE, FROM ASSYRIA, FROM EGYPT, FROM PATHROS, FROM ETHIOPIA,* FROM ELAM, FROM SHINAR, FROM HAMATH, AND FROM THE ISLES OF THE SEA.
12 HE WILL RAISE A SIGNAL FOR THE NATIONS,
AND WILL ASSEMBLE THE OUTCASTS OF ISRAEL,
AND GATHER THE DISPERSED OF JUDAH
FROM THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH.
13 THE JEALOUSY OF EPHRAIM SHALL DEPART,
THE HOSTILITY OF JUDAH SHALL BE CUT OFF;
EPHRAIM SHALL NOT BE JEALOUS OF JUDAH,
AND JUDAH SHALL NOT BE HOSTILE TOWARDS EPHRAIM.
14 BUT THEY SHALL SWOOP DOWN ON THE BACKS OF THE PHILISTINES IN THE WEST;
TOGETHER THEY SHALL PLUNDER THE PEOPLE OF THE EAST.
THEY SHALL PUT FORTH THEIR HAND AGAINST EDOM AND MOAB,
AND THE AMMONITES SHALL OBEY THEM.
The words translated above as, "But they shall swoop down on the backs of the Philistines in the west; together... "
in the Hebrew Bible actually say, THEY [i.e. Ephraim and Judah] TOGETHER SHALL FLY BY WING THE PHILISTINES AWAY WESTWARD.
Isaiah 11:14 predicted that Judah and Ephraim TOGETHER will fly the Philistines to some place in the west.
We identify the Palestinians (especially those of Gaza) as the Philistines spoken of in this passage.
The Bible is in effect recommending a solution to the Palestinian problem.
The British-and their descendants together with the USA should get together with the Jews and together fly the Palestinians to some place in he west such as Argentina, or Paraguay.
The question has arise as to, How Do We Know that by Philistines the Palestinians are meant?

2. Doubts of Identity, Letter from Douglas Augustine
From: Douglas Augustine:
re
Transfer the Palestinians. Send the Arabs of Gaza to Latin America
http://hebrewnations.com/articles/gaza.html
Dear Mr. Davidiy:
I agree completely with the objective of getting the Palestinians out of Israel by any means necessary. Your video about the possibility of this happening by means of concerted effort between Judah and Ephraim presents a very interesting perspective. I forwarded the video link to a friend but received a response to the effect that the prophecy of Isaiah does not apply in this case because the people of Gaza, etc. do not constitute "Philistines" which my friend argues ceased to exist a long time ago. I was wondering if you have a response to this I can take back to my friend who is showing some resistance to the message of the 10 tribes being in the western nations.
Best regards,
Douglas Augustine

3. Etymology of the Noun Palestine.
Isaiah mentions Philistines.
The word Palestinian is derived from the word Philistine.
If the Palestinians are not intended, then who is?
cf.
Online Etymological Dictionary
http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=Palestine
Palestine from Latin Palestina (name of a Roman province), from Greek Palaistine (Herodotus), from Hebrew Pelesheth "Philistia, land of the Philistines." Revived as an official political territorial name 1920 with the British mandate.
Someone who does not want to believe will always find reasons not to.
As long we keep to the truth eventually the truth we have will be accepted.

4. The Aircraft of Isaiah
Isaiah foresaw travel by aircraft.
ISAIAH 60:
8 WHO ARE THESE THAT FLY LIKE A CLOUD,
AND LIKE DOVES TO THEIR WINDOWS?
9 FOR THE COASTLANDS SHALL WAIT FOR ME,
THE SHIPS OF TARSHISH FIRST,
TO BRING YOUR CHILDREN FROM FAR AWAY,
THEIR SILVER AND GOLD WITH THEM,
FOR THE NAME OF THE LORD YOUR GOD,
AND FOR THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL,
BECAUSE HE HAS GLORIFIED YOU.
We referred to Isaiah 11:14 which is translated as "But they shall swoop down on the backs of the Philistines in the west".
We however rendered the verse directly from the Hebrew,
THEY [i.e. Ephraim and Judah] TOGETHER SHALL FLY BY WING THE PHILISTINES AWAY WESTWARD.

5. A Biblical Imperative: Expel the Heathen non-Israelites!
Isaiah ch.11 is referring primarily to a future time in the Messianic Era.
Isaiah 11:14 in its full sense may only be fulfilled then,
BUT since the solution is given as a positive and desirable one then we should implement it as much as we possible can.
This solution is especially pertinent since it coincides with the Bible Commandments to expel all heathen non-Israelites inhabitants of the land (Numbers 23:52).
We were also warned in this same passage that if we do not expel the heathen they will do it to us (Numbers 23:56).
The Arabs are indeed trying to do that to us, and worse, they want to kill us all!
Khaled Mashal, leader of Hamas, has said:
# Before Israel dies, it must be humiliated and degraded. Allah willing, before they die, they will experience humiliation and degradation every day. America will be of no avail to them. .... Allah willing, we will make them lose their eyesight, we will make them lose their brains. #
Khaled Mashal, Address at the Al-Murabit Mosque in Damascus (2006)

Khlaed Mashal is unconsciously paraphrasing the warning to Israel of God Almighty!
cf.
Numbers :
55 But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those whom you let remain shall be as barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides; they shall trouble you in the land where you are settling.
Either them , or us.

6. If You Were in Place of Isaiah What Term Would You Have Chosen?
Our translation of Isaiah 11:14 is what the verse says literally, word for word.
THEY [i.e. Ephraim and Judah] TOGETHER SHALL FLY BY WING THE PHILISTINES AWAY WESTWARD.
In ancient times there was a specific people named Philistines.
We mentioned this in our mini-article,
Prototypical Prophecies. Recurring Patterns and Historical Cycles
http://hebrewnations.com/articles/bible/proto.html
Nowadays, the Palestinians are fulfilling the role that the ancient Canaanites and Philistines played.
The situation is very similar.
The name Palestinian and Philistine is the same.
Physically it may be that only some of the present-day Palestinians are genetic descendants of the Philistines.
A major city of the Philistines was Gaza and this site is still the center of Palestinian anti-Jewish agitation and incitement.
If the Palestinians were to be physically transported to another location then it would be probably best to begin with Gaza and its surroundings.
Put yourself in the place of the Prophet Isaiah. Isaiah lived in Biblical Times, around the time when the Ten Tribes were exiled.
Isaiah had been given a Prophecy to transmit.
It has, to some degree, be applicable in every generation.
Its complete fulfillment will come about only in the End Times.
The Prophecy has to be coherent to the people of the time it was given but also descriptive of the distant future.
What better term in the Hebrew of that time could have been used to describe the Palestinians?

7. Prophecy as Proof.
This whole subject belongs to a class of Biblical Studies that provide indirect evidence concerning the identity of the Ten Tribes.
Indirectly the literal translation of Isaiah 11:14 is proof of Israelite Identity because the English-speaking people culturally and historically are the best candidates for the role, and always have been. They are the ones who could conceivably carry it out.
We have plenty of direct evidence both Biblical and Secular.
Biblical Proof
Proof from Scripture that the Ten Tribes are in the West.
http://hebrewnations.com/articles/biblical-proof/
The indirect evidence however is also important.
The psychological disposition, historical experience, and present-day situation of Western Nations is that which would be expected (according tot he Bible) from the Ten Tribes of Israel.

8. A Linguistic Footnote. Isaiah 11:14 in Hebrew explained word for word.
Thiis is a transliteration of the Hebrew:
Va-afu be-ketef plishtim yamah yachdav...
THEY SHALL FLY [ve-afu] BY WING [be-ketef] PHILISTINES [plishtim] TO THE WEST [yamah] TOGETHER [yachdav]...
Note according to the context (from the three preceding verses 11:11,12,13) Judah and Ephraim together are being spoken of.
The word TOGETHER the end of the expression applies to the THEY at the beginning.
In continuation the verse says,
.... [together] they shall plunder the people of the east. They shall put forth their hand against Edom and Moab, and the Ammonites shall obey them.
The verse is in two sections.
The first section says:
THEY SHALL FLY [ve-afu] BY WING [be-ketef] PHILISTINES [plishtim] TO THE WEST [yamah]
Then comes the word,
TOGETHER [yachdav]...
Then comes the second section of the verse:
they shall plunder the people of the east. They shall put forth their hand against Edom and Moab, and the Ammonites shall obey them.
The word together is usually understood as belonging tot he second section, i.e.
TOGETHER they shall plunder the people of the east....
We understand the word TOGETHER to pertain to the first section or ALTERNATELY to serve a double purpose.
It is as if the verse said,
THEY SHALL FLY BY WING PHILISTINES TO THE WEST TOGETHER,
together they shall plunder the people of the east. ...
Instead of repeating the word together the Bible used it once but applied to both sections of the sentence.
This is a known phenomenon in Biblical Hebrew and is often recalled (in other passages) in the Commentary of Abraham Iben Ezra.
