Lost Ten Tribes and other Peoples In Tarshish
Tarshish is the name of one of the 12 precious stones on the Breatplate of the Hight Priest. It is usually associated with the Tribe of Asher and arraigned in the same row as Joseph and Benjamin. We identify Asher with Ireland. The stomne of Asher may tentatively be identified as "Amber," and its color as "amber-yellow."

Tarshish was a son of Javan (Yavan) Japheth son of Noah. Yavan gave rise to the Ionians of western Anatolia (Mainland Turkey) a portion of whom moved to Tuscany (Etruscan areas) in Italy. The early settlers of Italy also had links with Spain.
Genesis (TCB) 10:
1 AND THESE ARE THE GENERATIONS OF THE SONS OF NOAH: SHEM, HAM, AND JAPHETH, AND SONS WERE BORN TO THEM AFTER THE FLOOD.

The Aramaic Targum translates this expression to say, "THE KINGS OF TARSIS AND OF THE ISLES IN THE OCEANIC SEA SHALL BRING OFFERINGS" and by Oceanic Sea (i.e. "Yam Okyanus") it is the Atlantic Ocean is intended. This could therefore imply the Kings of Tarsis and of the British Isles.
Isaiah 66 describes how in the End Times the Almighty will cause �the nations, Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, Who Draw the Bow, to Tubal and Javan, the distant islands,� will come to assist the descendants of Israel and Judah who will still be among them to return to the Holy Land.
Isaiah (TCB) 66:
19 AND I WILL PLACE A SIGN UPON THEM, AND I WILL SEND FROM THEM REFUGEES TO THE NATIONS, TARSHISH, PUL, AND LUD, WHO DRAW THE BOW, TO TUBAL AND JAVAN, THE DISTANT ISLANDS, WHO DID NOT HEAR OF MY FAME AND DID NOT SEE MY GLORY, AND THEY SHALL RECOUNT MY GLORY AMONG THE NATIONS.
20 AND THEY SHALL BRING ALL YOUR BRETHREN FROM ALL THE NATIONS AS A TRIBUTE TO THE LORD, WITH HORSES AND WITH CHARIOTS, AND WITH COVERED WAGONS AND WITH MULES AND WITH JOYOUS SONGS UPON MY HOLY MOUNT, JERUSALEM," SAYS THE LORD, "AS THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL BRING THE OFFERING IN A PURE VESSEL TO THE HOUSE OF THE LORD.

This passage is a continuation of Isaiah 66:12-13 where the return and reconciliation of Judah and Israel (the Ten Tribes) are spoken off.
Nevertheless, we have two separate scenarios here.
1. Ships of Tarshish mean ships sailing over the Atlantic Ocean towards the Land of Israel will transport Isrsael saccross the Sea and will accompany other Israelites returning 'LIKE DOVES TO THEIR COTE' (nests) by aeroplane.
2. Tarshish in the End Times together with others will play the role of the "Good Gentiles" who will help the Descendants of Israel return to the Holy Land.

Jeremiah mentions Tarshish as a source of silver: "BEATEN SILVER IS BROUGHT FROM TARSHISH, AND GOLD FROM UPHAZ" (10:9).
Ezekiel describes Tyre's trading relations with Tarshish: "TARSHISH DID BUSINESS WITH YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR GREAT WEALTH OF EVERY KIND; SILVER, IRON, TIN, AND LEAD THEY EXCHANGED FOR YOUR WARES" (27:12) and "THE SHIPS OF TARSHISH TRAVELED FOR YOU WITH YOUR MERCHANDISE. SO YOU WERE FILLED AND HEAVILY LADEN IN THE HEART OF THE SEAS" (27:25). The metals from Tarshish were stored in Tyre and resold, probably to Mesopotamia.
In the prophecy against Gog, Ezekiel predicts: "SHEBA AND DEDAN AND THE MERCHANTS OF TARSHISH AND ALL ITS LEADERS WILL SAY TO YOU, 'HAVE YOU COME TO SEIZE SPOIL? HAVE YOU ASSEMBLED YOUR HOSTS TO CARRY OFF PLUNDER, TO CARRY AWAY SILVER AND GOLD, TO TAKE AWAY LIVESTOCK AND GOODS, TO SEIZE GREAT SPOIL?'" (38:13)
Jonah 1:3 and 4:2 mention Tarshish as a distant place: "BUT JONAH ROSE TO FLEE TO TARSHISH FROM THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD. HE WENT DOWN TO JAFFA AND FOUND A SHIP GOING TO TARSHISH." Jonah's fleeing to Tarshish may need to be taken as "a place very far away" rather than a precise geographical term.
Esarhaddon, Aur Babylon E (AsBbE)[4] preserves "ALL THE KINGS FROM THE LANDS SURROUNDED BY SEA FROM THE COUNTRY IADANANA (CYPRUS) AND IAMAN, AS FAR AS TARSISI (TARSHISH) BOWED TO MY FEET." HERE, TARSHISH IS CERTAINLY A LARGE ISLAND, AND CANNOT BE CONFUSED WITH TARSUS (Thompson and Skaggs 2013).
Britain
Some 19th-century commentators believed that Tarshish was Britain, including Alfred John Dunkin who said "Tarshish demonstrated to be Britain" (1844), George Smith (1850),[20] James Wallis and David King's The British Millennial Harbinger (1861), John Algernon Clarke (1862), and Jonathan Perkins Weethee of Ohio. This idea stems from the fact that Tarshish is recorded to have been a trader in tin, silver, gold, and lead,[22] all of which were mined in Cornwall. This is still reputed to be the "Merchants of Tarshish" today by some Christian sects.
