Donald Trump has an otherwise noticeable paunch.

His strong points are his height, his shoulder width, and his head. His head is no longer as handsome as it once may have been but it is him. When looking at his head one is looking at who he is which is what he presumably wants. His surplus weight is that, it is surplus. His clothes seem designed to emphasize these points i.e. detract from the stomach, concentrate on the top, have everything else drawing attention to the top half of the body. The open jacket lets the long wide tie and the white shirt underneath it lead the eye upward. Trump has been a celebrity for some time. His daughter is also in fashion business. They know enough to judge for themselves and also hire experts to help them. The baggy clothes allow more freedom of movement and cause the eye to focus on them and not on the flesh beneath. Personally I think the pink tie he sometimes wears is a mistake. Everything else seems OK and well thought out. That is what one wants from a President.
