I cannot place the sources at moment but my impressions from past reading point to the following possibilities that others may find it worth pursuing:
AH was careful for his physical safety BUT he could be physically aggressive at times. If aroused he would charge or join a charge in physical confrontation with adversaries in the equivalent of terrorist brawls. He was capable of mixing it up in a fight though avoiding it to some degree. He encouraged physical violence in his followers. He had probably received private lessons in boxing and recommended them for youth. AH was above average in height, had physical stamina, and was probably above average in strength perhaps unusually so. His father before him had been quite large-bodied and strong and had terrorized his neighbors. His father had been accustomed to beat his wife and children sometimes into unconsciousness. The previous two women of his father had died and questions have been asked concerning his role in their deaths. Every woman (from 3 to 6 or more in number, e.g. Rabaul, Mittford, Ley, Braun) with whom AH had a relationship died by suicide or murder, or murder made to look like suicide. AH was quite capable of personally murdering others. AH personally shot Rabaul. AH had a problem with his gonads. This would have tormented him constantly physically and psychologically. AH may have been predominantly a heterosexual but he could not function in that way. He had also served as a homosexual in the passive sense. AH contracted syphilis at some stage. His body language was somewhat feminine but there are some good fighters like that. Despite all this, as far as I know, there is no account of him ever engaging in a one-on-one fight.
