There are Nazis in Israel from among the Immigrants from Russia.
The Law of Return requires a prospective immigrant to Israel to have at least one grandparent who was Jewish.
Regarding people from the west I do not know how this is applied at present.
Concerning the aliyah of Jews from Russia however it was once quite liberally interpreted.
The Jews in Russia had intermixed quote drastically.
In order to bring back as many as possible and reap a demographic advantage it was considered wise not to be too exacting.
In many cases this policy may have been justified. Who knows?
Some of the immigrants did not even have any Jewish grandparents.
Others may have done but the non-Jewish input was more important for them.
Some of them had anti-Jewish sentiments.
There were even those who were members of a Russian version of the Nazi Party.
There were articles about them in the Israel press.
I heard about them.
I also saw one.
A few months ago in the early evening I was with friends in Gan Saker, a large public park, near the center of Jerusalem.
Over by the exercising contraptions I came across a tall blond (I am also blond and so are many other Jews), Slavic looking, man in his 30s of athletic build, though perhaps a little seedy and not too bright.
He was practicing Karate doing kicks in the air.
Prominently tattooed on his neck in black and white was a large swastika. It is hard to believe that today in Israel anyone can walk around like that. Perhaps it was some kind of body stamp that washes off? And perhaps not?
There have been cases where Russian immigrants have attacked and molested Hareidi Jews and Ethiopian Jews.
One of my sons, who is Hareidi in appearance, had water thrown at him when he walked through a Russian neighborhood in the south of Israel.
The secular press and the authorities usually do not report such matters since a tacit agreement exists not to arouse tensions.
These same elements however raise a cry to High Heaven (irony intended) whenever the Hareidim allegedly do anything untoward against anybody at all.
The pages of Quora testify to this.
