Hitler changed over the years. Towards the end he was older, more tired, and less balanced than before.
Jung described the hand-writing of Adolf as feminine. He had feminine characteristics and played the fairy with some of his closest confidants, fluttering his hands like a woman and using homosexual terms of endearment.
Some reports describe Adolf as gentle and kindly but most do not. He could seem listless and contemptuously unimpressed with those he met.
Others were mesmerized by him. There are reports of Hitler glancing into the eyes of someone, even in a crowd, and causing the object to feel as if his soul had been encountered.
This in some cases was a life-changing experience and treasured.
The same applied with crowds,
Ernst Hanfstaengl (an early crony of Adolf) said: "What Hitler was able to do to a crowd in 2 1/2 hours will never be repeated in 10,000 years... he was able to create a rhapsody of hysteria. In time, he became the living unknown soldier of Germany."
Hitler had a high intelligence, a good memory, a head for numbers and technical details. He understood military theory at a professional level.
He had physical stamina and believed in the ability of will-power to solve problems.
Hitler could be generous, rewarding successful soldiers and others with awards, medals, titles, rises in rank, large gifts of money, bestowal of landed estates., etc.
Hitler was also vindictive. Even teachers who had incurred his displeasure as a youth were remembered and negatively requited.
He had been a voracious reader and had a very broad general knowledge. Hitler had memorized matters important to himself and would extemporaneously lecture on them to those around him.
Hitler had internalized the folk values and literature of the numerous folk groups and racial pseudo-scientific quacks of turn of the century Germany and Austria.
He liked presents, Wagnerian music, the presence of shallow nubile women (whom he usually did little with but sometimes utilized for perversions), sugar and sweet pastries, dogs, and little children.
He could also be Hysterical. Military leaders and officials who brought Adolf bad news or attempted to dissuade him to drastically alter policies were in for a surprise.
Hitler was liable to react like an hysterical female on the brink of hospitalization, to rant and scream interminably.
It was not unknown for distinguished generals to resign themselves and their men to physical obliteration rather than face the rage of Hitler in a personal encounter.
He was known to harangue, berate, lecture, and scold for hours on end wearing down friend and foe alike.
Nevertheless when in a personal meeting he tried to persuade the Spanish dictator, Franco, to join the Axis it was the Spaniard who bested Hitler in talking.
Hitler later said he would rather have several teeth drawn than go through that again!
People around Hitler were constantly quarrelling and maliciously back-biting each other in his presence.
There was little regality surrounding his entourage but rather an extreme cheap gutter type coarseness. Most of them were of above average intelligence but lacking depth.
The majority were perverts, crooks, sycophants, and opportunists who despised each other.
Hitler loved animals but regarded humans as at the same level or lower. Just as dogs could be put down when necessary for their own good so could people.
Just as one may cull horses to obtain a finer breed so too with mankind.
His flatulence was probably not caused by his vegetarian diet as believed but rather was a result of his sexual perversions.
He was usually loyal to old friends but if necessary would have them killed.
He hated Jews but used a few of them and then had them killed.
Dr Bloch the Jewish physician who treated his dying mother was called a "noble Jew" by Hitler. Dr. Bloch had had his life spared and been allowed to leave the country.
This was not in character for Adolf. We suspect that other motives were involved in this act of "kindness."
Hitler admired the cruelty and ruthlessness of Stalin.
If an ordinary person criticized Hitler or the Reich then chances were that fellow Germans would inform on them and they would be taken away to incarceration or death.
Hitler was a sadist. After the failed attempt at assassination on 20th July 1944, the culprits were executed. Some were killed by strangulation with piano wire. This was by orders of Hitler and ensured that the victims slowly strangled to death. It was all filmed and Hitler enjoyed viewing the films.
You can tell a man by his friends,
An old friend of Hitler was Julius Streicher. Hitler was attached to this man and protected him from prosecution and rejection by his fellow Nazis and the police.
Streicher published a newspaper, Der Sturmer, of which Hitler boasted that he read every issue from cover to cover. Its content consisted of pornography, Jew-hatred, and blatant lies.
The truth did not matter to such people, only their will. Everything Streicher accused the Jews of doing Streicher did!
There are other matter such as Adolf having probably slept regularly with his own mother but we can leave that till later.
