The term Judea is a Latinized form of the name 'Yehudah' meaning Judah.
' Judah was the main Tribe in the Kingdom of Judah. All members of the kingdom of Judah were known as 'Yahudim' i.e. Jews.
Mordecai, the uncle of Queen Esther, was expressly described as descended from the Tribe of Benjamin and a man of Judah i.e. a Jew.
Esther (NASB) 1:
5 Now there was at the citadel in Susa a Jew ['ish Yehudi' i.e. 'a man of Judah'] whose name was Mordecai, the son of Yair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite,
Incidentally, the name "Judas" is also a foreign version of the name Yehudah (Judah). Judas was allegedly the one who betrayed the Christian Messiah.
He was usually depicted with red hair.
