The Midrash says that if the Peoples of the World had have released how much they benefited from the Temple in Jerusalem they would have encompassed it with army upon army to defend it.
Instead they destroyed it and brought the world down a few notches.
Likewise if non-religious Jews and non-Jews only knew how valuable Torah Study is, and how much they too benefit from it, they would kiss the ground before the Ultra-Orthodox and beg them to learn more Torah.
The Ultra-Orthodox are the cream of the crop.
The sun shines for their sake.
All the others bask in their shadow and get a free ride.
The world exists for the study of Torah.
The Ultra-Orthodox keep the world going.
There goes the man! There is no other.
Many secular Jews know this in their heart.
Some resent the ultra-Orthodox because of it.
They feel that is what they should have been.
It was taken away from them by delusion and the deluded and they now feel what they have lacked.
It is time to face up to this and stop trying to say things are otherwise.
All Jews should repent and learn Torah as the Ultra-Orthodox do.
Non-Jews should do what they can and follow the Jewish example.
There is no other way.
Isaiah 49:
22 Thus says the LORD God:
Behold, I will lift My hand in an oath to the nations,
And set up My standard for the peoples;
They shall bring your sons in their arms,
And your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders;
23 Kings shall be your foster fathers,
And their queens your nursing mothers;
They shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth,
And lick up the dust of your feet.
Then you will know that I am the LORD,
For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me.
