Answer:
Jewish Orthodox women in principle receive a better education, are healthier, have more stable families, and more children.
It is not unusual for them to have careers or run their own businesses.
Many work part-time but they who stay at home find plenty to do raising their children.
The statistics for employment etc for women are not much different from those in the secular sphere.
A few decades ago the results of an in-depth sociological study were discussed in a series of articles published by the Israeli Hebrew-language daily newspaper "Yediot Aharonot." This is (or was then) the most popular newspaper in Israel. It is generally populist and left of center but also has occasional articles with alternate viewpoints catering to other segments of the populace.
The Study found that Ultra-Orthodox women in Israel had the MOST POSITIVE SELF-IMAGE than any others.
And guess who had the least?
Women from the left-wing kibbutzes that at least in theory believe in sexual equality!
Things are not as they seem.
The Mainstream Media and social elites in some ways deceive us.
Take abortion.
Abortion is promoted as a banner for sexual equality.
It is stated that a woman has a right to do with her body as she pleases and others (i.e. males) have no right to interfere!
Sounds nice and fair, No?
In reality most women who have abortions do not really want to!
They are usually pressured by others (boyfriends, husbands, family, etc) or mislead by those (social workers etc) they are dependent upon.
Most women who have had abortions regret having done so.
This is what the statistics say.
If abortions were banned women might have less freedom in one sense but in effect be more happier!
The same applies for other matters all down the line.
