Shouldn't Israel been somewhere not populated rather than a populated place like Palestine making the Palestinians pay the price for the mistake that Germany, Poland and the USSR did to the Jews?

One could reverse the question:
Seeing has how the Land of Israel was promised by God Almighty to the People of Israel should the Palestinians not have had better sense than to claim it for themselves?
If they found the land empty and came in as temporary squatters then they should be thankful. They are asked merely to vacate the premises without having to compensate the real owners. The true proprietors in fact, having kind hearts, would be quite willing to assist them in finding alternate dwellings and acclimatizing themselves in new places.
We agree that the mistreatment of the Jews by "Germany, Poland and the USSR" along with others may have been a factor in speeding the process of repossession up.
Therefore those nations should get together and allocate one or other of their expansive regions to Palestinians who have not yet found alternative places to dwell in.
