Â Oral History is how verbally transmitted memories describe what has happened in the past.
Â Different events from various periods may be conflated.
Â The accounts may be mistaken.
Â Sometimes the truth may have been the opposite from what is believed.
Â On the other hand,
Â Verbal records are often in an overall sense correct.
Â Inner truths concerning subconscious motivations, or prejudices or social developments, etc, may be expressed.
Â Oral History is valid historical material and needs to be taken into consideration together with all other sources.
