I once wrote a book on the Khazars, "The Khazars. Tribe 13," by Yair Davidiy. A rerised version of this work is now available, entitled, "Hebrew Warriors. The Khazars" https://hebrewnations.com/publications/books/warriors.html
According to our notes,
Kiev was founded by people who were related somehow to the Khazars.
They may even have been Scandinavians or Finns since the Khazars did have links to such regions.
This was before the Khazars converted to Judaism.
Later Kiev was populated by Slavic people ruled by Varangians from Scandinavia. These too at the beginning were subject to the Khazars after the Khazars had become Jewish.
We relied mainly on Avraham Polak ("Khazaria," Hebrew-language, Tel-Aviv, 1949, quoting from the Russian Chronicles and other sources) for the following information:
- The local inhabitants said that Kiev had been founded by Ku and two of his brothers [Kiy, Shchek, Khoriv]. These were foreigners and kinsmen of the Khazars who had ruled over the native Polanians. The Polonians of Kiev told the Varangians that originally there were "three brothers...they built this town and perished. We are sitting [here] and pay tribute to their kinsmen the Khazars....." This is interesting since originally Kiev had been known as Sambat as reported by the Emperor of Byzantium, Constantine Porphyrogenitus, who lived at the time and had contact with the Khazars. The term "Sambat" means "Sabbath" and in Rabbinical Tradition via the form "Sambation" is linked to the Lost Ten Tribes. The people of Asgard (from whom descended many of the Scandinavians) had lived in this area.
The Varangians at first acknowledged Khazar suzerainty. .... According to Abraham Polak the Scandinavian element amongst the Varangians was basically pro-Khazar, whereas the Slavonic one was not. The more Christian and Slavonicised the Varangians became the more distance they kept from a Khazar alliance. Abraham Polak considered the Khazars essentially an offshoot of the Goths who had also been prominent in that area by the Black Sea.
Ukrainians appear to be a mixture of Slavonics. Hitler is quoted as considering the Ukrainians Slavic Germanics. Nevertheless the Nazi polices envisaged the virtual extermination of all Ukrainians apart from a few serving girls in German households who might be impregnated by their German masters.
Answer to queries included in the question as first formulated:
Why do the Ukrainians hate Jews?
That is a Ukrainian conundrum. It may be more convenient to hate they who are weak and vulnerable rather than the real oppressors?
Why do Russians and Ukrainians hate each other?
They developed along differing lines. The Ukrainians were mostly Catholics whereas the Russians were Greek Orthodox. Being neighbors they did not get along. Being who they were they reacted in ugly ways to each other and this has set off a chain reaction of hate and enmity. It can happen in the best of families.
Are Ukrainians Jewish or Israelite in part?
I am not aware that the Jewish input to Ukrainian Gentile national ethnogenesis was ever significant. Perhaps I am wrong?
Were the original Rus who founded both the Ukraine and Russia of Israelite origin? Who knows? It is worth investigating. We however doubt it.
Perhaps they were Edomites descended from Esau the twin brother of Israel?] The term “Rus” connotes “red” which is the meaning of “Edom.”
Does Israel have a claim to the Crimea?
No-one in Israel seems to have ever mentioned such a thing.
Nevertheless anything is possible.
Does the Crimea suffer from lack of populace?
Perhaps the Palestinians could be persuaded to move there?
