The Promised Land stretches from the Nile to the Euphrates.
Genesis 15:
18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying,
To your descendants I have given this land,
From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates:
19 the Kenite and the Kenizzite and the Kadmonite 20 and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Rephaim 21 and the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Girgashite and the Jebusite.’
Within the borders of the Promised Land there are areas with differing levels of sanctity. The most holy region is that of Jerusalem and its surroundings. The second most sacred area is now held by the present State of Israel from the Mediterranean to the Jordan River i.e. pre-1967 borders plus the West Bank. To this should be added an extra region to the north reaching up to Tyre in Lebanon. After this we have present-day Jordan and part of Syria, and then the rest. When the Ten Tribes are conclusively identified and return they accept Judaism. The borders will be expanded to included all of the Promised regions plus much more. Each Tribe will receive its own allocated portion.
Important Note: The above notes concern Biblical Prophecy. The present day Israeli government and all Israeli society have no designs to expand their territory at the expanse of any of their neighbors. On the contrary. They are under constant pressure from segments of their own public as well as the international community to give up much of the little they already have. Not only that but the peoples around them wish to see them obliterated from off the face of the earth!
At all events, in the future, the Land of greater Israel will be divided:
Ezekiel (NASB) 47:
13 Thus says the LORD God, "This shall be the boundary by which you shall divide the land for an inheritance among the twelve tribes of Israel; Joseph shall have two portions.
14 You shall divide it for an inheritance, each one equally with the other; for I swore to give it to your forefathers, and this land shall fall to you as an inheritance".21 So you shall divide this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel.
22 You shall divide it by lot for an inheritance among yourselves and among the aliens who stay in your midst, who bring forth sons in your midst. And they shall be to you as the native-born among the sons of Israel; they shall be allotted an inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
23 And in the tribe with which the alien stays, there you shall give him his inheritance, declares the LORD God…Ezekiel 47:
29 This is the land which you shall divide by lot to the tribes of Israel for an inheritance, and these are their several portions, declares the LORD God.
The Promised Land included areas by the Persian Gulf meaning most of the oil-producing regions. It also encompasses additional territories that produce oil in Iraq and Kurdistan and oil-bearing deposits in the Mediterranean Sea. This will require the Israelites to repent and to observe the Torah. This is evidently something to look forward to.
