We found the name CAUDINGE on the site of what became Hamburg. Etymologically the name Caudinge may have been a form of "Sidon" the major city of Phoenicia. This apparently Canaanite area bordered France and the Netherlands to the east.

Another link of Zebulon and the Netherlands with Canaanites may involve the Cananefates (Canaanite League) south of the Frisians in Holland.

9. A Brief History of the Area. Belgium and the Netherlands.

Ancient Times.
Pytheas (ca. 325 b.c.e.) is reported as describing Holland as peopled by Skuthai (i.e. Scythians) meaning (probably) Frisians who, in the 300's and 200's BCE, are claimed to have begun absorbing the native Celts. There followed several centuries in which the population fluctuated greatly. In about 200 CE the Franks invaded. Angles, Saxons, and JUTES from Jutland overran the land in 450-500 CE. Consequently, Frisians, together with others, participated in the Anglo-Saxon invasions. Frisian Legends trace their ancestry along with that of the Angles and Saxons to Ancient Israel. The FRISIANS are a people now concentrated in Northern Holland but once spread all along the coast from Scandinavia through Holland, Belgium, and into France. The Angles and Saxons before they, together with other northern peoples, invaded Britain in the 450s CE had sojourned (at least in part) for about 200 years in Holland especially in Frisia. Some of the Jutes had also been in Frisia. The Byzantine historian, Procopius (Gothic War vii; 20) said that the Frisians were an important element amongst the invaders of Britain.
After ca.600 CE Frankish influence re-asserted itself.

The Intermediate Period.
For several centuries, the Netherlands was divided up into medieval lordships within the Holy Roman Empire such as Brabant, Holland, Zeeland, Friesland, Guelders and others.
The region was known as Lower Lotharinigia or Lorraine which later became the name of a neighbouring French Province.
By 1433, the Duke of Burgundy created the Burgundian Netherlands. This included what is now the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and a part of France. The Catholic Hapsburg kings of Spain inherited the area and began to oppress the Protestants. They took strong measures against Protestantism, The subsequent Dutch revolt led to the splitting in 1581 of the Netherlands into southern and northern parts. The southern "Spanish Netherlands" corresponds approximately to modern Belgium and Luxembourg, and the northern "United Provinces" (or "Dutch Republic)", which spoke Dutch and was predominantly Protestant, was the predecessor of the modern Netherlands.

After the King imposed unpopular Protestant reforms on Belgium, it left the kingdom in 1830 and new borders were agreed in 1839. ...Following the introduction of the 1848 constitution, the country became a parliamentary democracy with a constitutional monarch. Modern-day Luxembourg became officially independent of the Netherlands in 1839, but a personal union remained until 1890. Since 1890, it is ruled by another branch of the same dynasty.
The Netherlands was neutral during the First World War, but during the Second World War, it was invaded and occupied by Nazi Germany. The Nazis, including many collaborators, rounded up and killed almost all of the country's Jewish population. When the Dutch resistance increased, the Nazis cut off food supplies to much of the country, causing severe starvation in 1944-1945.

More than 80% of the Jews in the Netherlands were killed. Nevertheless, the Dutch had resisted and attempts were made to help the Jews. The Geographic layout of the Land and other factors mitigated against these attempts being overall effective. On the whole the Dutch were against the Germans and not anti-Jewish.

The post-war years saw rapid economic recovery (helped by the American Marshall Plan), followed by the introduction of a welfare state during an era of peace and prosperity. ... In recent decades, the Dutch economy has been closely linked to that of Germany and is highly prosperous.

Roughly speaking, modern Holland has Frisians in the north, Saxons in the east, and Franks and Flemings in the south. It also has important continents of French Huguenots, Sephardic and Ashkenazic Jews, Malays, and Eurasians of mixed blood. In other words, the population is of mixed origins like the populations of most countries. This does not contradict the fact that a good proportion of the people (if not most) are descended from Israel or that amongst the Israelites a certain tribe has the ascendancy. Enough has been shown to prove that often groups of divergent backgrounds converging on one spot, are revealed as having originally the same tribal identity.
We also have the Boers of South Africa also known as Afrikaners. Half of these came from Germany but from areas bordering on the Netherlands and were Calvinists by faith.
Another ca. 25% were French Huguenot Protestants, and another 25% from the Netherlands itself. Into this mixture was added a mix of Bushmen, Malays and Asians, and Bantu Africans making another 10% of the total. Since the end of Apartheid even more have been added. So too, in the Netherlands large numbers of Asians, Malays (from Indonesia the former Dutch Indies), Turks, and Arabs have moved in and have a significant influence.
The population of the Netherlands is now ca. 18 million.

Belgium.

Belgium was part of the Netherlands until 19830. The modern Belgian state, was officially recognized at the London Conference of 1830. The first King of Belgium, Leopold I, assumed the throne in 1831.
Belgium was occupied by Germany during World Wars 1 and 2.
It is now divided into three regions: Dutch-speaking Flanders in the north, French-speaking Wallonia in the south, and bilingual Brussels in the middle.

The population of Belgium is now about 12 million.

Belgium has the highest suicide rate in Western Europe and one of the highest suicide rates in the developed world (exceeded only by Lithuania, South Korea, and Latvia).

The economy of Belgium is a highly developed, high-income, mixed economy.

Belgium imports raw materials and semi-finished goods that are further processed and re-exported. 10. Zebulon and Diamonds.
The diamond is the sacred stone of Zebulon on the Priestly Breastplate.
The stone of Zebulon was a diamond and diamond merchandising and processing is important in Belgium. Many diamonds come from South Africa and the economy of South Africa historically owed much to the extraction of diamonds. The Afrikaner (Boer) inhabitants of South Africa descend from German, French Hugeonot, and Dutch ancestors. It may be that an element from Zebulon was important amongst them.

The cutting and polishing of rough diamonds is a specialized skill that is concentrated in a limited number of locations worldwide. Traditional diamond cutting centers are Antwerp, Amsterdam, Johannesburg, New York City, and Tel Aviv. Recently, diamond cutting centers have been established in China, India, Thailand, Namibia and Botswana.

As of 2016, cut diamonds constituted 23.2% of Israel's total exports and they were the country's biggest export product, amounting to 12% of the world's production. During the first fifteen years of Israel's existence, diamonds and Jaffa oranges were the new state's main export products.

The Diamond Industry in Israel was helped greatly by Ultra-Orthodox Jews around the world especially those of Israel itself and of Belgium.

12. Zebulon and Innovation.

Leah first bore 4 sons. Then she had a break from child-breaking after which she bore 2 more sons Issachar and Zebulon. These are often associated with each others. In Rabbinical Traditions Zebulon is the outgoing type who travels the seas where as Issachar is more scientific and stays at home. Nevertheless, it appears that both Zebulon and Issachar share these qualities. Zebulon also has a scientific aptitude.

The technological prowess and exactitude of both Zebulon and Issachar are examplified in the achievements of ASML.

ASML (Advanced Semiconductor Materials Lithography) is a Dutch company that produces the smallest computer chips in existence. No-one else can compete with this company.
ASML stays on top by precision, research and technological expertise. It farms out different aspects of its production to numerous others and then brings them all together.
The ability to do this shows aspects of the character of Zebulon and Issachar.

This is what we now tend to use in computers and all electronic devices. These chips are difficult to produce and only a few places make them. The smaller the chips the betters. The Netherlands makes the smallest chips and so far no-one else in the world can compete with them in this field! Most computer chips are made in Taiwan but the machines used in Taiwan to make the chips come from the Netherlands! All potantial competitos in these field still need machines fromt he Netherlands that so far only the Netherlands can produce. China would like tocatch up but so far cannot since the Netherlands (at USA request) has placed a partial embargo on China in this matter.

I'm Dutch and I just for the first time ever read your webpage about Holland in Biblical Codes. It is a very interesting website to read (not sure if I follow it all, and I'm not Jewish either). But at the end of the page you write this:

This latter part is absolutely right. In Holland, when a person reaches the age of 50 you then either "see Sarah" (for a female) or see Abraham (for a male). So when my dad reached the age of 50 we say that, "He sees Abraham".
Maybe this is something you didn't know yet and you might want to add it to the page, as it's only in Holland that this "seeing of Sarah or Abraham" occurs.
