Levi
Levi is the law-making Tribe. Levi is today mainly among the Jews though also scattered among the other Tribes. Levi can be officious, pedantic, legalistic, and extremist.
Levi however will get job done. He will also make sure that things should be done correctly. Many Levis are found among the leading Rabbinical authorities though not necessarily among the Rabbis as a whole.
Levi in some ways is parallel to Simeon.
Joseph
Joseph is divided into two Tribes, Ephraim and Manasseh. Joseph is mainly among the English-speaking peoples.
Joseph takes responsibility. Joseph supplies the needs of other tribes and of other nations. Joseph is an Israelite but he does not keep the law. This is a problem.
Joseph is vain.
Joseph has lusts but to a degree he restrains them.
Joseph is positive out going and optimistic. He is welcoming towards others. Joseph is a dreamer and beleives in making dreams come true.
Ephraim
Ephraim is aristocratic. He puts everyone in their place. He establishes a hierarchy. He is often modest and self-effacing.
He has a sense of duty, of doing the right thing. Ephraim is dominant among the English and also in different groups among the British People in general.
Manasseh
Manasseh is the USA.
Mansasseh and his son Machir values value. How much money one has is important. Everyone should be given a chance.
How you can help him or the cause he presents is important. Apart from that, who you are is less important.
Size and quantity is important. He likes show.
Binyamin
Benjamin among the Jews and also as a minority element among the Normans and other in France, Belgium, and Britain.
Benjamin is aristocratic but he keeps it to himself more. He is sensitive and intuitive. He is more emotional than intellectual though he can be deeply spiritual.
He has a sense of doing the right thing, of acting properly, of correct decorum.
Dan
Dan in Denmark and Ireland, and Wales.
Dan has been described as a profligate. Dan is also a quarreller. The Talmud describes a certain person who was always taking others to court over some dispute or other.
He was from the Tribe of Dan. Dan be devious at times. Dan, like Samson, has the potential to be very strong both physically and otherwise.
Dan is capable of acting along, of being independent, of partisan type actyion.
Asher
Asher is found in Scotland and Ireland. Asher is often of a happy disposition. He is also frequently successful without really having any special qualities.
Descendants of Asher make good soldiers and help Israel in general.
Asher is involved in the metal trades.
Naphtali
Naphtali is in Norway. Naphtali is masculine but he takes on what other Tribes would consider feminine tasks and qualities.
Naphtali is fast in his physical constitution and also in his thought processes.
Naphtali is reliable in what he has to do. He may be reluctant to take something on but if and when he does it will be done.
