1. Naftali and Neptune
Main Source.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neptune_(mythology)
Nahum Slouschz ("Les Hebreo-Pheniciens. Introduction a ire Des Origines de la Colonisation Hebraique dans les Pays Mediteranee," Paris, 1909) quotes a source equating Naftali with the Roman god Neptune. In Hebrew the letter "f" in the name Naftali could also be pronounced as a "P." When transliterated into Hebrew lettering the names "Naftali" and "Neptune" are virtually the same. The gods of Rome were usually borrowed from Greece and before that had been found among the Phoenicians.
The Romans also imitated the Hebrews. Their chief god Jupiter was also known as "Jove" whose name is borrowed from that of the God of Israel. Jupiter has also been depicted with the offering of a red bull and a red-bull calf. The ashes of a red cow were important in preparations for the Temple service.
Neptune is the counterpart of the Greek god Poseidon. In some cases neptune and Poseidon were considered two names for the same deity and at other times they were treated as separate entities. The name Poseidon is said to be derivable (as explained in old British Israelite writings) from a Greek word meaning "Sons of Dan." Naftali and Dan were brothers, sons of Jacob and Bilhah, and closely associated.
Poeseidon is also be associated with the horse. Servius explicitly names Neptune as the god of rivers, springs, and waters; This is in contrast to Poseidon, who was primarily a god of the sea.
Neptune may parallel the Irish god Nechtan, master of rivers and wells.
Neptune was considered the legendary progenitor god of the Falisci. These were an Italic People who dwelt in Etruscan Territory in Tuscany (Northern Italy) and fought against Rome until virtually extinguished by them. They had been allied to the Punics of Carthage..The Etruscan name of Neptune is Nethuns. Nethuns was apparently important to the Etruscans.
Neptuine was often depicted bearing a trident, sitting in a chariot made of a sea-shell and drawn by sea-horses or dolphins.

2. Norway and the Fjord Horse.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fjord_horse
Extracts:
The Fjord horse is one of the world's oldest and purest breeds, believed to be related to the Przewalski, a primitive wild horse of Asia.[4] Horses were known to exist in Norway at the end of the last ice age. It is believed that the ancestors of the modern Fjord horse migrated to Norway and were domesticated over 4,000 years ago. Archaeological excavations at Viking burial sites indicate that the Fjord horse type has been selectively bred for at least 2,000 years.[1][4] The Fjord horse was used by the Vikings as a war mount. The Fjord horse and its ancestors have been used for hundreds of years as farm animals in western Norway. Even as late as World War II, they were useful for work in mountainous terrain. Its strength, durability, and thick coat fare well in the rough winters of Denmark.
The Fjord horse also has a long recorded history of pure breeding without crossbreeding from other sources.[4]
The Fjord horse is featured as a charge on the coat of arms of the municipalities of Gloppen and Eid, both in Nordfjord.

Norway has not only one but three national animals! Its royal national animal is the lion, which is depicted on the Royal Banner hoisted at 8:00 am every morning over the Royal Palace in Oslo. Norway's national bird is the white-throated dipper, and its national horse is the fjord horse.

3. Thor Heyerdahl, and Azerbaijan.
Extract from "Ephraim. The Gentile Children of Israel," 4th edition, by Yair Davidiy, Jerusalem, 2016.
In the 1990s Heyerdahl began propagating his belief that at least a part of the inhabitants of Ancient Norway had come from Azerbaijan. He said that there are ancient petroglyphs in both Azerbaijan and Norway that are identical and depict types of boat. People from Azerbaijan had employed collapsible boats made of animal skins to navigate the river systems of Russia and reach Scandinavia. Heyerdahl asserted:
# Such a boat is mentioned in early Norwegian sagas written down by the Icelander, Snorre Sturlason, before his death in 1241, ... According to the saga, the Viking kings descended from Odin, an immigrant hierarch who came in a vessel called Skithblathnir (Skidbladner) which could be folded together like a cloth. Odin came from the land of the "Aser", and is, therefore, frequently referred to as "Asa-Odin". The legendary land of the people known as Aser is given a very exact location in Snorre's saga as east of the Caucasus mountains and the Black Sea.
# From there, according to the same saga, Odin, owner of the foldable boat migrated with all his people northwestwardly through Russia, Saxland, and Denmark into Sweden where he died and lay buried in a huge funerary mound at Sigtuna. ... in the 5th century B.C., the Greek historian, Herodotus, described such marvelous foldable boats used precisely in the area referred to in Asa-Odin's saga as the home of the Aser, namely the land of the present day Azeri and Armenians.
# In this area, Herodotus wrote, traveling merchants used boats built with a framework of wood and canes covered with skin, and of such great size that they carried one or more donkeys in addition to crew and cargo. They navigated down river to Babylonia where they sold their merchandise and the framework (wood), then they folded the skins and loaded them on the donkeys for their return upstream in preparation for the next voyage.
# The Azeri could easily have sailed across their inland sea to the great centers of civilization in antiquity and up the river Volga which was navigable past present-day Moscow to its sources which are suspiciously close to the sources of the river Dvina which empties into the Baltic Sea at Riga, where the first Christian Norwegian Viking king, Olav Trygvason, was born.
Azerbaijan encompasses the region of Ginzak identified in the Talmud (Yebamot 17) as Gozan which was one of the places the Ten Tribes were exiled to (2-Kings 17:6). In this area once dwelt the Gaeli-Cadussi also known as Naphtali and pertaining to the Israelite Tribe of Naphtali. The Apocryphal Book of Tobias records Israelites from the Tribe of Naphtali once dwelling in this area. We have shown in 'The Tribes'14 that the Tribe of Naphtali did come to be dominant in Norway. Whether they got there as Heyerdahl explained is one thing that may yet be debated. The fact is that in this case, and apparently also in others, he was correct concerning the actual migration.

4. Dan and Naphtali in Scandinavia
In 'The Tribes' we explained how those Israelites in the region of the Cadussi were from the Tribe of Naphtali. They moved to the north where we trace their migrations and show how they were accompanied by a group from Dan. Dan and Naphtali were full brothers, the sons of Jacob and Bilhah. They became identified with the Naphtalites, who were named after Naphtali, and otherwise known as 'White Huns'. At one stage the Naphtalites were federated with the Huns though ethnically different. The Huns invaded and conquered Scandinavia and the Naphtalites accompanied them. They settled in Norway and Denmark merging with descendants of Israel who were also from Dan in the case of Denmark. These events led to overpopulation and the Viking excursions overseas to France, England, Ireland, and even attempted settlements in Greenland and North America. There is a chapter dedicated to this matter in our work "Hebrew Warriors."

5. Hebrew Warriors - A valuable source on the Israelite origins of many in Scandinavia.
Our work Hebrew Warriors is admittedly focused on the Khazars but it includes much vital information detailing the immigration of groups descended from Israel into Scandinavia.
