A Refutation of the article:
The Not Lost Tribes of Israel. Who and Where Are the Northern Ten Tribes of Israel Today?
by Ernest L. Martin, Ph.D.
Extract:
It is worth repeating that the Sages also understood Scripture in this case as we do.
 ~Rabbi Berachiah and Rabbi Chelbo in the name of Rabbi Shmuel bar Nachman said: To three places was Israel exiled, one to beyond the Sambation River, one to Daphneh of Antiochia, and one to where the Clouds came down and covered them; in the same way that they [i.e. the northern Israelites west of the Jordan River] were exiled to three places, so too were the Tribes [east of the Jordan River] of Reuben, Gad, and half Menasseh, exiled to three places. (Numbers Rabah 1;6, Eichah Rabah 2;9, Jerusalemi Sanhedrin ch.17, L.6,29).
#The Ten Tribes were not exiled to the same place as Judah. Judah was scattered all over the world. The Ten Tribes were exiled to Afriki. # Talmud Sanhedrin 110,
Rashi: "The Ten Tribes were exiled to one place".
De Gobineau ("Histoire des Perses" 1869) reports that "Afriki" was the name of a center of the Medes apparently close to the Caucasus.

RE Brit-Am Now no. 2388. Lost Ten Tribes Studies

#1. Anti-Two House Web Site Quoted by Oversight
Shalom Yair, I enjoyed reading Brit Am 2388. I looked at the website therefinersfire.org and took note of two things: First of all, their use of hyperbole by saying that belief in a two house teaching is "dangerous". It would seem that they borrowed heavily from the false teachings of Kay Silberling and Dan Juster of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America. Basically, to say that the two house teaching is is erroneous and false is in itself, dangerous. Worse, I believe it is a desecration of the scriptures. It is essentially teaching that the lives Joseph and Benjamin and the sons of the two concubines and Reuben, Simeon and Issachar and Zebulon were for nothing. Once they were taken into captivity by the Assyrians, they disappeared forever and are now forever lost to us. Well, that is contrary to the Tanach and contrary to the end time plan HaShem has for Israel. It also negates the countless verses that speak of the House of Israel being brought back
 from the dead and being reunited with Judah. I wonder how they can read Ezekiel 37 and still come to this conclusion let alone the verses in Hosea.
The second thing that disturbs me is there use of "YHWH" In my own personal experience, people who use YHWH or Yahweh are cultish. For me, the use of YHWH immediately discredits them. I cannot tell you how often I have met people who make pronunciation of the Sacred Name or as Jews say, Shem HaMeforesh [Expressed name of God], a litmus test for who is a true believer. It sickens me. They think that by using the tetragrammaton that somehow, they are more spiritual or holy than others.
It is sad but we will have to battle these people as much as we would a fanatical Muslim. I am so glad that Mary Ellen called this to your attention. We must continue to research and teach what the Bible really teaches regarding the 10 Northern tribes. This is why Brit Am is so vitally important in these days of the Acharit Yamim [End of Days]. Shalom v'b'richot [And Blessings], Bill Rasmussen

Hebrew-Language. Chazon Ha-Naviim [Vision of the Prophets] by Chaim Chanon.
(a) Yehoshaphtat of Judah called Jehoshaphat of Israel.
2-Chronicles 21:
2 He had brothers, the sons of Jehoshaphat: Azariah, Jehiel, Zechariah, Azariah, Michael, and Shephatiah; all these were the sons of King Jehoshaphat of [Judah].[*] Israel]Â in the Hebrew Bible.
Note: A few translations INCORRECTLY have Judah here instead of Israel. This is a mistake. The Hebrew has Israel.
(b) Kings of Judah referred to as Kings of Israel.
2-Chronicles 28:
27 Ahaz slept with his ancestors, and they buried him in the city, in Jerusalem; but they did not bring him into the tombs of the kings of Israel. His son Hezekiah succeeded him.
(c) Micah 1 Judah referred to as Israel in three places.
the transgressions of Israel (Micah 1:13), the kings of Israel (Micah 1:13), the glory of Israel (Micah 1:15).
Micah 1:
12 For the inhabitants of Maroth
  wait anxiously for good,
yet disaster has come down from the Lord
  to the gate of Jerusalem.
13 Harness the steeds to the chariots,
  inhabitants of Lachish;
it was the beginning of sin
  to daughter Zion,
for in you were found
  the transgressions of Israel.
14 Therefore you shall give parting gifts
  to Moresheth-gath;
the houses of Achzib shall be a deception
  to the kings of Israel.
15 I will again bring a conqueror upon you,
  inhabitants of Mareshah;
the glory of Israel
  shall come to Adullam.
