Will the books listed as OUT be back in publication soon?
==============================
Brit-Am Reply:
Shalom,
Those books that have been sold out shall be-printed or republished in upgraded editions as soon as we have the money.
This good take a short while or it may never happen.
Meanwhile the stock of those books still available in some cases is running low.
We need the money and you may well appreciate the books. They contain valuable and interesting information, so please buy what you can now.
God bless you
Yair

3. Question Concerning the Temple Mount and where the Temple REALLY was.
Victor McLane wrote:
Dear Rabbi: Did you receive my last Email ? I want you to consider the file I shared with you concerning the actual location of the Temple in Jerusalem...then, if you concur, I wish you to use whatever influence you have to drive the people of Israel onward to build the Temple of G-d in the right place ! A.S.A.P ?

Shalom,
You sent me an article:
New Evidence for the Site of the Temple in Jerusalem
" Two Academic Reviews of my New Research in the Book "The Temples that Jerusalem Forgot."
The first is from: Prof. James D. Tabor, Dept. of Religious Studies, The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Charlotte, NC 28223. Given in May, 2000.
http://askelm.com/temple/t001211.htm
The article is quite detailed. I have glanced through it and hope to re-read it later.
Professor Tabor is an acquaintance of ours and in past has encouraged his readers to read our articles etc.
The article seems to claim that the true site of the Temple was some distance to the east and south of the present Temple Mount in the vicinity of what is today known as Mount Zion.
It would therefore mean that the present Western Wall was not part of the Temple construction and the area now considered the Temple Mount was not the site of the Temple.
On the other hand the Western Wall is traditionally considered to be a remnant of a retainer wall on the outer perimeter from Second Temple times of the Temple Mount .
IN the past I spent quite a bit of time praying, learning, and saying Psalms there. I would find it hard to accept that it is not what we believe it to be. Millions of Jews have found inspiration at that site.
In my opinion, ideally the Arabs should be driven out of the area and the whole mount cordoned off until the Temple be rebuilt.
If this cannot be done we must make the best of what we have.
There are archaeological findings all around the Western Wall including Wilsons arch, Robinsons arch etc. It seem to be compatible with the description of the Temple in the Mishna (Tractate "Midot").
Anyway, this is not our field.
We cannot allow ourselves to be diverted too much from our main task which should be to spread knowledge concerning the Ten Tribes amongst western peoples, to further research the subject, and to do what we can to draw Joseph and Judah together WITHOUT harming Judah in the process.
We need help in this.
Other worthy causes exist.
Very good.
Our own task is also a worthy one.
God bless you,
 Yair
ps.The term Rabbi may be applied out of respect to any learned religious Jews. It is customary however these days to reserve the title to they who have, at the least, learned in a special program for several years, passed specific examinations, and have the approbation of recognized authorities.
I have not merited to any of these.
If I had I would be the first to stress the point, believe me.
It would add a lot to our message.
On the other hand attributing to us a title we do not deserve could cause us harm.

4. Query Concerning the Symbolic Significance of the Two Camps of Jacob

Boker tov [Good Morning], Yair,
Is there any prophetic message in this verse? Â " . . . I had only my staff when I crossed this Jordan, but now I have become two groups." (Genesis 32: 10b)
Thanks and shalom,
cd

Brit-Am Reply:
Shalom, the verse you are referring to is:
[Genesis 32:10] I AM NOT WORTHY OF THE LEAST OF ALL THE MERCIES, AND OF ALL THE TRUTH, WHICHÂ Â THOU HAST SHEWED UNTO THY SERVANT; FOR WITH MY STAFF I PASSED OVER THIS JORDAN; AND NOW I AM BECOME TWO BANDS.
This verse is preceded by,Â
[Genesis 32:7] THEN JACOB WAS GREATLY AFRAID AND DISTRESSED: AND HE DIVIDED THE PEOPLE THAT WAS WITH HIM, AND THE FLOCKS, AND HERDS, AND THE CAMELS, INTO TWO BANDS;
to which we have added, in the Brit-Am Commentary to Genesis:
http://britam.org/Genesis/Gen32to36VaYishlach.html
the following observation -
# He split his people into two: Does this symbolize the eventual splitting of the Israelite people into two parts headed by Judah and Ephraim? #
This is a theme that could be developed.
The Sages said that the narratives concerning the Patriarchs in addition to their historical value were also similes concerning the future fate of their descendants.
God bless you,
Yair

5. Proverbs 21:29-31
Man Proposes, God Disposes
http://hebrewnations.com/articles/bible/proverbs/proverbs21.html
Proverbs (NRSV)Â 21:
29 The wicked put on a bold face,
but the upright give thought to their ways.
30 No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel,
  can avail against the Lord.
31 The horse is made ready for the day of battle,
but the victory belongs to the Lord.
Alternation rendition:
Proverbs 21:
29 A wicked person emboldens his face
but the upright prepares his ways.
Metsudat David explains this to mean that a wicked man shows his anger straight away whereas the righteous restrains himself and takes heed to the future.
30 There is no wisdom, no understanding, no counsel,
that can avail against the LORD.
31 The horse is ready for the day of battle,
but salvation belongs to the Lord.
