Following are Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's remarks from earlier today
(Monday, 10 March 2014) at the Eilat navy base:
"There are those who would prefer that we do not hold this news conference
here today. They feel uncomfortable that we show what is really happening
inside Iran. They prefer that we continue to nurture the illusion that Iran
has changed direction. They're not prepared to recognize that Iran, a brutal
regime, has not abandoned its deep involvement in terrorism, its systematic
efforts to undermine peace and security throughout the Middle East, and its
ambition to destroy the State of Israel.
The weapons on this ship

were destined for terrorists in Gaza who are committed to Israel's
destruction. The goal was to have these weapons rain down on the heads of
Israel's citizens. The ship was organized by Iran, dispatched by Iran,
financed by Iran. The missiles were loaded by Iran in Iran.
As usual Iran denies these facts. In fact, its foreign minister calls these
facts 'failed lies.' But it's Iran who's lying. Our intelligence services
exposed the ship's wayward route and Iran's efforts to disguise it; they
exposed the ship's deadly cargo, and its intended destination.
I appreciate the close cooperation of the intelligence services of the
United States that have verified all these facts. The forged bill of lading

that was presented to you here proves how Iran tries to disguise the loading
of the weapons contained in this ship, the loading of the weapon containers
on its own soil.
The ship's crew testified how they loaded the containers which contained the
weapons unknown to them in the main port of Iran, Bandar Abbas. In other
words, Iran sent these missiles to terrorists, and Iran is brazenly lying.
What is new? Are not Iran's deeds or its lies but the desire of many in the
international community to bury their heads in the sand? They conveniently
ignore Iran's continued criminal aggression in the mass killings in Syria;
in supporting the terrorist organizations in Lebanon, in Gaza; in subversion
throughout the Middle East; in dispatching terrorists to five continents; in
the execution of hundreds of innocent people inside Iran every year. Above
all, they deceive themselves into believing that Iran has given up its goal
of developing nuclear weapons.
This determination to ignore the truth, that was exposed once again with the
capture of the ship, is first of all hypocritical. I said a moment ago that
at most I heard a few faint condemnations of Iran from the international
community after we intercepted this murderous shipment. We even saw
representatives of the world powers shaking hands and smiling with the heads
of Iran's regime, at the same time we were unloading these missiles here in
Eilat.
And by contrast, if we build some apartment or some balcony in a
neighborhood of Jerusalem, we hear a chorus of vociferous international
condemnations against the State of Israel.
This is not only farcical, it's dangerous. Because the willingness to ignore
Iran's real fallacies is highly irresponsible. Just as Iran hid its deadly
missiles in the belly of this ship, Iran is hiding its actions and its
intentions and many of its key installations for developing nuclear weapons.
Does anyone truly believe that Iran has given up its plans to develop
nuclear weapons or long-range ballistic missiles that are capable of
carrying nuclear warheads to Europe and the United States?
The missiles that we uncovered today were intended to strike at the citizens
of Israel. The intercontinental ballistic missiles that Iran is developing
are intended to strike at the citizens of the West. Come to think of it,
Iran might not need ICBMs. Just as they concealed these weapons in
containers on this ship, they could tomorrow conceal in other containers the
ultimate weapon, nuclear weapons, which they could ship to any port in the
world.
So my message today is simple: those engaged in self-deception must awaken
from their slumber."

2. Palestinians Report: 100 Thousand Archaeological Pieces Smuggled from Palestine Every Year

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Israeli authorities have not stopped since the occupation of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip in 1967 their policies that aim to steal the Palestinian monuments and to Judaize ancient relics.
According to the Palestinian Department of Antiquities, there are 944 archaeological sites in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, while the number of monuments hit 10 thousand, PIC reported.
Antiquities expert Dr Hamdan Taha said that the occupation is committing the most dangerous crime against the antiquities, with the aim of changing and falsifying the history of Palestine.
He noted that the construction of the apartheid wall in the West Bank has led to the annexation of more than 270 archaeological sites and about 2,000 archaeological and historical landmarks, in addition to dozens of archaeological sites that were destroyed for the construction of the wall.
The Palestinian Department of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage also pointed out that more than 500 archaeological sites and over 1,500 monuments in the West Bank were stolen or destroyed by looters, supported by the occupation forces.
Researcher Mohamed al-Jamal said that the theft of antiquities is managed by Israeli officers, traders and dozens of semi-organized groups who are carrying out illegal archaeological excavations.
Jamal noted that "according to statistics, one hundred thousand archaeological pieces are being smuggled abroad every year."
For his part, lawyer Mohammed Nassar said that many countries have linked the theft of antiquities with treason; however in Palestine there are not enough laws to deter the antiquities dealers and smugglers.

Arab Palestinian nationality (which was officially forged in 1964) is an entity defined by its opposition to Zionism (the Jewish national liberation movement) and not by its national aspirations.
Like a mantra, Arabs repeatedly claim that the Palestinians are a native people of Israel. The concept of a 'Stateless Palestinian people' is not based on fact. It is a fabrication! The following is a chronology of an ethnic make up of so-called Palestinians and their origine.
During Ottoman Empire.
Until the Jews began returning to the Land of Israel in increasing numbers from the late 19th century, the area called Palestine was a God-forsaken backwash that was controlled by the Ottoman Empire.
1880-84 Turkish government settles Muslim Circassian refugees in the Golan to ward off Bedouin robbers. Other settlers in the area include Sudanese, Algerians, Kurds...
In 1878, an Ottoman law granted lands in Palestine to the Moslem refugees from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Carmel region, in the Galilee and in the Plain of Sharon and in Caesarea. The refugees were further attracted by l2-year tax exemptions and exemption from military service.
The same colonization policy was also directed toward Moslem refugees from Russia - particularly from the Crimea and the Caucasus. They were Circassians, Cherkesians and Turkmenians - leading to their settling in Abu Gosh, near Jerusalem and in the Golan Heights. Refugees from Algeria and Egypt were also settled in Jaffa, Gaza, Jericho and the Golan.
British Mandate: 1917-1947
1923 Having discovered the Golan lacks oil but that the Mosul area in northern Syria is rich in oil, the British cede the Golan to France in exchange for Mosul. At the same time the Trans-Jordan was ceded from Palestinian mandate as well and Egypt was given control of Sinai, British and France gain control of Suetz canal. (82% of Jewish land was sacrificed in the process!)
In 1934 alone, 30,000 Syrian Arabs from the Hauran moved across the northern frontier into Mandate Palestine, attracted by work in and around the newly built British port and the construction of other infrastructure projects. They even dubbed Haifa Um el-Amal ('the city of work').
The Ottoman Turks' census (1882) recorded only 141,000 Muslims in the Palestinian. The British census in 1922 reported 650,000 Muslims.
