(a) ONE DEAD IN HAMAS JERUSALEM CAR TERROR ATTACK
by Ari Soffer and Ari Yashar

Extracts:
One person has been killed and at least 13 wounded in Jerusalem, when a terrorist drove a car into a crowd of pedestrians at the Shimon Hatzadik train station, located on Shimon Hatzadik street north of the Old City and not far from the Municipality building.
Shortly after the attack one of those wounded in the attack - identified as a border policeman [AÂ Druze volunteer] - was pronounced dead on his way to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.
A total of five victims are being described as in "serious" condition, at least two of whom are critical and "fighting for their lives" according to reports.
At least two others are "moderately" wounded.
Eye witnesses say the terrorist continued driving after running over an initial group of around five pedestrians standing along Route One in the capital, striking others before crashing into another car, and then another, before finally stopping. He then left the vehicle with an iron bar in his hand and started hitting passersby.
Border Patrol officers on hand at the scene shot the terrorist dead.
The terrorist has been identified as Ibrahim al-Akri, a known member of Hamas who lived in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Shuafat.
His brother Musa was reportedly released in the 2011 "Shalit Deal," according to Channel 2.
Pro-Hamas news sites have been publishing pictures of Ibrahim al-Akri and praising him as a "martyr":
Emergency services spokesman Zaki Heller described to AFP how the car had driven down the light rail tracks then plowed into people waiting on the platform, in the mirror image of an attack at the Ammunition Hill light rail station two weeks ago.
In that previous attack, an Arab terrorist murdered a three-month-old girl and 22-year-old woman with his car at the station.
The attack comes in nearly the exact same location where an Arab terrorist killed a 25-year-old hareidi kollel student in August, when he rammed a tractor into a bus and overturned it.

(b)Â HIT-AND-RUN TERRORIST HANDS HIMSELF IN TO SECURITY FORCES
by Ari Soffer

Extracts:
The terrorist responsible for Wednesday night's car attack on a group of soldiers in the Gush Etzion region, south of Jerusalem, has reportedly handed himself in to Israeli security forces, and has been transferred for interrogation.
"The Palestinian suspected of running over the three soldiers last night turned himself into the security forces and has been taken for investigation," an army statement said.
It comes as IDF forces tightened the noose on their prime suspect, arresting his father and brother in an early-morning raid near Hevron Thursday.
The terrorist responsible has been named as Hamam Mesalmeh, according to Israel Radio.
The attack occurred at around 10:00 p.m. Wednesday night when the driver of a large van ran over a group of soldiers as they were on duty near a guard stand outside the Arab village of Kafr Al-Arub.
The driver then fled from the scene, driving southward. Security forces located the car a short time later, but the driver was nowhere to be found.
Three IDF soldiers were injured injured - one of whom is still in critical condition.
It followed a similar terror attack earlier in Jerusalem, when a Hamas terrorist drove his car into two separate groups of Israeli pedestrians, killing Border Patrol officer Jedan Assad, and injured 13 others. Two people are in critical condition and three in moderate condition from that attack.

(a) Lack of proportion: Africans can die but Palestinians must be Pampered as long as Jews can be misrepresented because of it.
Almost 5,000 people have been killed by Ebola! On Sept. 16 the UN declared that $988 million is needed to tackle it over the next six months in Liberia , Sierra Leone and Guinea . Only $365 million have been committed by the international community since then. A few weeks ago $5.4 billion was pledged to help rebuild the Gaza Stri p. This is the simple truth about international anti-Semitism which is behind the worldwide support, by Muslim and 'Christian' ruled countries, for the enemies of Jewish state!

(b) Anti-Israel Restaurant Supported by Wife of John Kerry
A food cart - Conflict Kitchen, a pop-up restaurant located at the intersection of Carnegie Mellon University and Pittsburgh University - hands out anti-Israel propaganda with each of its sandwiches has received funding from a foundation run by Secretary of State John Kerry's wife. It recently began serving Palestinian food wrapped in leaflets that include quotes from Palestinians defending terrorism and opposing the existence of Israel . (In high level of politics nothing is done by mistake or accidently!)

(c) Israel to Help Drought-struck California
Drawing on its vast experience with arid lands, Israel will help California fight back against the worst drought in its recorded history. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and California Governor Jerry Brown signed a strategic cooperation agreement as part of which Israel, a world leader in the field of water usage.

3. Large Number of Israelis of Jewish Descent Not Recognized as Jews by Haredi Rabbis Leave Israel for Diaspora, Expert Says
Ha-Aretz.
A disproportionate number of Israelis who leave Israel to live elsewhere in the world are immigrants from the former Soviet Union, Â immigrants whose Jewish status was questioned by the country's haredi-controlled chief rabbinate and government agencies acting on the chief rabbinate's determination of status, an expert on emigration trends reportedly told a conference held in the Knesset, Israel's parliament, today.
World Bank figures reportedly show that approximately 350,000 Israelis currently live outside Israel, most in North America.
But Karasenty reportedly said those figures are flawed because they only count people born in Israel, not immigrants to Israel who later leave.
He believes the number of Israelis who have left the country to live abroad is much higher - between 550,000 and 580,000. About 100,000 of those Israeli expats are Arabs.
This means that more than half of Israelis who left the country over the past few years to live elsewhere are people who immigrated to Israel, most from the FSU, Karasenty said.

4. A CLEAR majority of Scots want to stay in the European Union while most people in Britain want to leave.
http://www.scotsman.com/news/politics/top-stories/poll-shows-majority-of-scots-wish-to-stay-in-eu-1-3591916
Extracts:
Some 57 per cent of people in Scotland would vote to stay in the EU if a referendum were held, compared with 37 per cent of people across the UK, a YouGov poll found. Just 28 per cent of people in Scotland want to leave compared with 47 per cent across the UK.
First Minister-in-waiting Nicola Sturgeon said the results reinforce her demand for an EU exit to require the assent of all of the nations of the UK, rather than a simple UK majority.
But the poll also shows that the Wales/Midlands area may be the most eurosceptic with support of the EU running at just a third.

5. Israel and Israel Together Jointly Build best Planes in the World
Accent on US-Israel Alliance as IAI, Lockheed Launch F-35 Wing Line

Extracts:
BEN-GURION AIRPORT, ISRAEL Â Touted by USÂ and Israeli officials as a new milestone in decades-long defense-industrial cooperation, state-owned Israel Aerospace Industry (IAI) inaugurated a production line Tuesday to provide wings for Lockheed Martin-produced F-35 joint strike fighters. Under an estimated $2.5 billion industrial cooperation deal, the new facility at IAI's Lahav Division will produce up to 811 wing sets through 2030 at a rate of four per month. Current plans are earmarking Israeli-built wings for fighters on order for the US Air Force, the Israeli Air Force and future export customers, industry executives here say. Work has already begun, with the first Israeli-built wings planned for delivery to Lockheed by the middle of next year. The deal constitutes a major portion of $4 billion in Lockheed-pledged work to Israeli industry stemming from Israel's 2010 decision to procure its first F-35 squadron.
...Patrick Dewar, Lockheed Martin International executive vice president, said the decision to entrust IAI with critical wing builds follows three decades of successful cooperation on the F-16 and T-38 programs. He noted that Lockheed nearly doubled the $1 billion in pledged F-16I buyback "because IAI builds the best product and we choose to take them with us." The latest deal, he said, takes strategic cooperation to a new level and launches "a new era in our shared commitment" to supporting air forces of both countries.
"Now is the time to say loud and clear that no dispute can undermine this relationship. No disagreement can diminish our gratitude," Ya'alon said. Ya'alon said Israel-built wings for the F-35 along with the selection of Elbit Systems for helmet-mounted displays are a show of strength and another sign of growing strategic ties. "If we won't be absolutely the best, most advanced and most sophisticated, we simply won't be. This is the secret of our existence," he said. "This cooperation is the latest in a long line of strategic ties binding our countries," Â said Shapiro, Washington's top in-country diplomat.
