(a) Jewish Press: Update. Terror Attack in Rami Levi Supermarket
http://www.jewishpress.com/news/breaking-news/terror-at-rami-levy/2014/12/03/
On Wednesday afternoon around 4:30 PM, a terrorist entered the Rami Levy supermarket in the Mishor Adumim Industrial Park (near Maaleh Adumim) and began to stab shoppers. An off-duty guard, who work in the Prime Minister's office, who was shopping in the branch shot the terrorist in the leg and saved the day.
Two men in their 50s were stabbed in the head, shoulders and hand. They were taken to Hadassah Ein Karem hospital. The terrorist is still alive.
The terrorist has been identified as a 16-year-old from Azariya, with no prior arrest record. Two additional people have been arrested in connection to the attack, according to the Shabak.
The Rami Levy supermarket chain is known for its inexpensive prices and popularity among both Jewish and Arab shoppers, who shop side-by-side in the stores many locations, including in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria.
This terror attack was not only an attack on Jews and shoppers in the store, but also on the peaceful coexistence that exists between Settlers and Arabs.
4:46 PM The terrorist was not an employee of Rami Levy, according to the store.
4:41 PM The terrorist stabbed 2 shoppers inside the Rami Levy supermarket in Mishor Adumim.
A guard shot the terrorist in the legs. The event is now under control.
Security is searching the area.

(b) This Ongoing War: 03-Dec-14: Stabbing attack inside an Israeli supermarket
http://thisongoingwar.blogspot.co.il/
The Rami Levy chain of supermarkets are a phenomenon in Israel: well-tended large-format stores, attractive prices, a growing list of locations, and some showcase examples of Arab/Israeli co-existence both behind the counters and among the clientele. In other words, an obvious target for the hatred and racist jihadism of the Palestinian Arab terror industry.
Just in from Times of Israel:
A man stabbed two people and was shot by a security guard in the West Bank Wednesday afternoon. Police are treating the incident as a terror attack. The assault took place at a Rami Levy supermarket in the Mishor Adumim industrial zone, east of Jerusalem... One of the injured was a paramedic who fought with the attacker, according to an eyewitness. The two victims, men in their fifties, were moderately injured, with wounds in the upper body. The assailant entered the supermarket and began attacking customers at the checkout lines, Channel 2 reported. He was shot in the legs.
Ynet is reporting that two accomplices of the knifer have been arrested.
From informal sources, we understand the man whose gun-shot stopped the would-be killer was not the store security guard but an ordinary shopper who, like many Israelis and especially those who live in Judea and Samaria, carries a well-holstered pistol and the skill to use it when absolutely essential. Like this afternoon.
The Rami Levy business has been the target of Palestinian Authority bile for some time, as Israeli Arab journalist Khaled Abu Toameh reported in 2010 ["PA warns Palestinian shoppers"]:
Thousands of Palestinians converge every day on the Rami Levy supermarkets at Sha'ar Binyamin and Mishor Adumim, the only two branches in the West Bank [there are more today]. The two stores also employ dozens of Palestinians. This was the first threat of its kind issued by the PA against Palestinians who visited the Israeli supermarkets, which are named after their founder. Levy, who was born in a tin shack in Jerusalem's Nahlaot neighborhood in 1955, founded the company in 1976. He has never lived in a settlement... Abu Libdeh [PA Economy Minister at the time, Hassan Abu Libdeh] warned Palestinians in an interview with the local Al-Watan TV station that the PA knew the names of individuals and families who shop in the Rami Levy stores. He condemned the phenomenon of Palestinians buying goods at the Israeli supermarkets in the West Bank as a 'big disgrace.'

2. Islamic State Slave Trade Reflects Disturbing Realities Of Muslim world

Extracts:
Every evening, silence reigns in the Khanke refugee camp near the Kurdish city of Dohuk in northern Iraq. Winter has already arrived, bringing with it rain, mud, and cold.
A fire has been lit for warmth, but the flame is potentially dangerous. A Yazidi family is crowded into each tent. The tents afford no protection from the rain, and if any of the structures catch fire, they can turn into death traps. About 60,000 Yazidis live in this camp.
Last summer, they managed to escape from Mount Sinjar, which was taken over by the Islamic State (ISIS) terror group. Every person at the camp knows someone who was either killed or wounded, or is currently missing.
Every refugee has a sister, wife, or daughter who was kidnapped and raped. Some of them have already seen the video footage on YouTube showing the modern slave markets in Syria and Iraq, and the women who have fallen into bondage. According to these video clips and the accounts that are trickling out of Raqqah, the Islamic State 'capital' in Syria, and from Mosul, its stronghold in Iraq, the women are sold at auction to the highest bidder.
The jihadists of Islamic State, using passages from the Koran as their justification, regard the Yazidis as idol-worshippers who may be bought and sold like sheep.
The situation is growing worse in regions taken over by Islamic State. Public executions and amputations mandated by Shariah, the Islamic system of religious law, are carried out every day just a few miles from the Turkish border. Children under 10 years old train with live ammunition, and thousands of Yazidi and Kurdish women are enslaved.
Some of the women enslaved by Islamic State have managed to escape, in a number of cases by contacting their families to convey ransom demands from the terror group. The ransom in certain cases is as high as $5,000 for a young woman or teenage girl, and few families are able to raise that sum.
A woman who manages to escape continues to live in fear of the Islamic State terrorists, and in fear of the rapists and murderers in Syria and Iraq. These women have made long journeys on foot to find that they don't have a home to return to. - Mount Sinjar, the place where the Yadizi community lived for thousands of years, is under Islamic State control.
Now the women are living in Erbil, in Dohuk, and in refugee camps set up by the Kurdish government. Dr. Mirza Dinnayi, one of the heads of the Yazidi community and a former adviser to the president of Iraq, is also in Erbil. With help from several German organizations, he is trying to get the women to Germany, where they can receive treatment and rehabilitation.
Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, the UN high commissioner for human rights, has expressed shock that the Arab Muslim world is not condemning Islamic State more frequently. One letter, signed by 126 Islamic clerics two months ago, described the actions of Islamic State as a violation of Islamic law. But these efforts seem to have barely made a ripple in the Arab world.
Islamic State merely does openly what others do in secret. Black jeeps with license plates from the Persian Gulf states arrive every day at the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan, in which roughly 18,000 Syrian refugees are crowded together. Inside the jeeps are wealthy men from Jordan and the Gulf states who are looking for wives.
Journalist Henrique Cymerman visited the camp as part of a report for Israel's Channel 2. He spoke with young girls who were about to be forcibly married to these men who soon would grow tired of their new wives and have no hesitation about divorcing them and sending them back to the refugee camp.
The girls who marry these men from the Gulf states are sometimes as young as 13 or 14. Their families receive a sum of money, usually a few hundred dollars, as a dowry.
'I married because of my family's terrible financial situation,' said Olah, a 13-year-old Syrian bride who married a 60-year-old man from Saudi Arabia.
'The situation in the refugee camps in Syria and Jordan, in Turkey and Lebanon, is unbelievable,' said Ahmed, a Syrian refugee whose family is still in Syria. 'The women who live there have already been through the worst, and now, in these camps, their suffering continues.'
Ahmed added, 'It's very sad that the exploitation is being abetted by the Syrians themselves and by other Arabs.'
Cymerman said that Syrian women work as matchmakers in the refugee camps.
'The men order the brides according to specific criteria,' he said.
Such activities take place not only in refugee camps but also in countries like Egypt. In 'bride cities' such as El Hammadiya, near Cairo, several motels and lawyers' offices arrange legal marriages between wealthy men from Gulf states and local girls. According to reports in the Arabic and Egyptian media, marriages of this kind can be arranged for just $80.
A horrific video shared on social media shows members of Islamic State boasting about the slave girls that they had just bought or would soon be buying, Â and the response of many Internet users in Egypt and Jordan was very supportive.
Dr. Ammar Nakshawani, an Iraqi Muslim lecturer who lives in London, recently gave a speech in which he explained why slavery could not be abolished. Anjem Choudary, a Salafist cleric who also lives in London, said publicly several weeks ago that he would be happy to move to the Islamic caliphate if he received an assurance that he would not be punished in the UK afterward.
When Islamic State's crimes against humanity are examined in the context of regional reality instead of under a spotlight, it is clear those crimes did not emerge from a vacuum. Unless that nuance is understood, the plague of slavery in the Arab Muslim world will fester.

3. RABBI DAVID BAR-HAYIM CONDEMNS "HAR NOF GATE"
From: ag <thaxted@netvision.net.il>
Subject: R.David Bar Chayim: "Har Nof victims were decapitated"
https://www.facebook.com/pages/HaRav-David-Bar-Hayim/491614440889403
Machon Shilo's Rabbi David Bar-Hayim has requested to publicize his condemnation of the government's deliberately covering up the fact that the Arab terrorists who perpetrated the Har Nof massa...cre decapitated two of the victims, HASHEM yikom damam. Rabbi Bar-Hayim has expressed outrage that the government and media have joined forces in preventing Jews from knowing the grisly nature of these barbaric murders in order to preserve "industrial quiet."
The following article on Arutz 7 makes reference to the decapitation of 2 of the victims of the Har Nof massacre:

Note: The fact that at least one of the victims was decapitated is generally well-known. The news that two were may need confirmation.

4. Father of Murdered Druze Officer Visits Har Nof Synagogue

By Hezki Ezra, Ari Yashar
Extracts:
Family members of Druze police officer Sergeant Major Zidan Seif (30) visited the Jerusalem synagogue in Har Nof where Seif was murdered by two Arab terrorists last Tuesday, as he tried to stop their attack in which they murdered four Jews at prayer.
Seif's father Sheikh Nuhad Seif and other family members were given a tour of the synagogue and a reenactment of the events by those who experienced the horrific attack firsthand.
"They kept hitting people with the ax by any means, also people who were already on the floor they continued to hit them. They were also shooting and also hitting," one witness told the Seif's family members. "At a certain point after they were here for several long minutes, Zidan was the first who arrived. He started to shoot from outside, and there were exchanges of fire."
"They heard the shots from outside and they stopped here. Zidan's shots confused them and they stopped here, they could have continued. ...They (the victims - ed.) were praying, no one had a weapon. At a certain point they realized they couldn't continue, the two of them went out of the door quickly towards the stairs," continued the witness.
Relating the moment when Seif was murdered, the witness added "Zidan was behind the wall there, Zidan hit him, but he (the terrorist) while continuing coming down the stairs managed to shoot another bullet."
Seif's father responded "it's hard, we can't do anything that's our fate. We can just hope that Israel will only have happy occasions and not sorrow."
When told how the terrorists cut off the heads of two Jews at prayer, the father responded "they have no G-d. In a holy place like this, they come in, these are people with no values, these are not good people."
Congregants, students and rabbis at the synagogue thanked the father and family members for Seif's brave deeds that helped limit the attack and save lives.
"You know in our religion were are proud of every one who sacrifices themselves to save others. You'll go above (to heaven - ed.) and you'll be proud of him, he'll be in a place of honor," one thankful congregant told the father. "Someone who saves lives, he receives...with G-d's help, may you have only joy and pride. And it's not just him, it's your education, the education of all the family that caused him to do it."

5. US Center for Disease Control says benefits of male circumcision outweigh risks
Male circumcision could help decrease the risk of contracting HIV and several other sexually transmitted infections.
http://www.jpost.com/Diaspora/United-States-Center-for-Disease-Control-recommends-male-circumcision-383548
Extracts:
The benefits of male circumcision outweigh the risks, according a long awaited draft of federal guidelines from US health officials released Tuesday.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that medically performed male circumcision could help decrease the risk of contracting HIV and several other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) as well as other health problems.
The recommendation, which includes counseling parents of male newborns on the benefits and risks of the procedure, comes at a time when the rate of male circumcision has been decreasing in the United States.
From 1979 through 2010, the national rate of newborn circumcision declined 10 percent to 58 percent, according to the CDC.
The procedure, which has been subject of fierce debate, involves cutting the foreskin around the tip of the penis.
"These recommendations are based on an evaluation of available information on the health risks and benefits associated with high-quality, medically performed male circumcision and were developed to pertain to men and male newborns in the United States," the document said.
Several studies conducted in Africa indicated that circumcision could help reduce the spread of the virus that causes AIDS.
All uncircumcised adolescent and adult males who engage in heterosexual sex should be informed about the significant, but partial, efficacy of male circumcision in reducing the risk of acquiring HIV and some STIs through heterosexual sex, as well as the potential harms of male circumcision, the draft guidelines said.
The overall risk of adverse events associated with male circumcision is low, with minor bleeding and inflammation cited as the most common complications, according to a CDC fact sheet.
