Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday morning met with the visiting Canadian Foreign Minister Robert Nicholson, and in the meeting discussed the UK student union decision on Tuesday to join the BDS movement to boycott Israel.

Netanyahu began by praising the close ties between Israel and Canada, saying, "Israel values the support, unstinting, unfaltering, of Canada, in an international environment that is often marked by cynicism and double talk. Canada, led by Prime Minister (Stephen) Harper, is always stalwart and tells the truth. And we think that this is a refreshing wind in an increasingly hostile environment, hostile to the truth."
Turning to the UK union's BDS move, Netanyahu noted that the vote came "less than a year after they refused to support a boycott of ISIS," indicating the brutal Islamic State terrorist regime that has captured vast swathes of Iraq and Syria.
"They boycott Israel but they refuse to boycott ISIS. That tells you everything you want to know about the BDS movement. They condemn Israel and do not condemn ISIS; they condemn themselves," he stated.
Illustrating the hypocrisy of boycotting Israel and not ISIS, he continued, "Israel has an exemplary democracy. We have academic freedom, press freedom, human rights. ISIS tramples human rights to the dust. It burns people alive in cages and the national student groups in Britain refuse to boycott ISIS and have boycotted Israel."
"I stress these points, Rob, because Canada stands out so clearly and so powerfully against these distortions of truth and distortions of justice, and I want to express the feeling of the people of Israel that we believe we have no better friend than Canada. We value that partnership. It was exemplified last week, two weeks ago, in the vote of Canada, alongside the United States and Great Britain, in rolling back the attempt to single out Israel in the NPT votes. That is deeply appreciated here," added Netanyahu.

2. DESPITE RISING ANTI-SEMITISM, JEWS HELD IN HIGH REGARD IN EUROPE

Despite rising anti-Semitic attitudes and attacks in Europe, a broad majority of Europeans still hold favorable views about Jewish people, a Pew Research Center poll published Tuesday revealed.
The survey, conducted after the Charlie Hebdo and Hyper Cacher kosher supermarket terror attacks in Paris in January, examines the attitudes of six European Union nations regarding minorities, including Jews, Muslims, and Roma.
In France, over nine-in-ten (92%) citizens hold a favorable view of Jews, similar to the 89% documented in 2014, and a big jump from the 72% recorded in 1991.
Most notably, Pew wrote in its report, was that "the intensity of that support has more than doubled, from 14% saying they were very favorably disposed toward Jews in 1991 to 39% in 2015."
Similar results were recorded in Britain, where more than eight-in-ten (86%) of respondents voiced a positive attitude toward Jews, a number that remained virtually unchanged in recent years.
An even 80% of Germans hold a favorable opinion of Jews, with little difference in the numbers from 2014, but a marked increase from the 53% of respondents who viewed Jews favorably in 1991.
Finally, three-quarters of Spaniards see Jews favorable, with Italy trailing slightly at 71%.

3. Notes on Japan
The 10 largest economies today are the USA, China, Japan, Germany, France, the UK, Brazil, Italy, Russia, and India.

Japan is in third place. Japan is still subject to Agreements following World War 2 and depends largely on the USA for its defense. Nevertheless its military budget is the eighth largest in the world. The Japanese have the highest life expectancy and the third lowest infant mortality rate. Japan ranks 17th in the Human Development Index and is preceded by South Korea and Hong Kong. Japan considers Islam a retarding religion and does not allow Muslims to enter. The Japanese are prejudiced towards black people and foreigners in general. They also discriminate against Okinawans, Ainu, Koreans, and the Burakumin Japanese caste of lowly occupations.
Â
The Japanese are a mixture of several races. The main groups are the Jomon and the Yayoi (Yamata). It appears that amongst both the Jomon and Yayoi were groups that may be identified as Edomites and Horite attachments to Edom.
The Yayoi are believed to have originally come from Central Asia passing through China, Manuchuria, and Korea. The presence of elements from Edom amongst the Yayoi is indicated in the jumbled accounts of the Japanese Chronicles. Attempts to identify the Japanese with the Lost Ten Tribes rely on evidence that on closer examination indicate links to Edom rather than to Israel. Regardless of the degree of actual Edomite input, the Japanese have benefited from the two main blessings to Esau, that he should dwell on the riches of the earth and that he should be a warrior nation (Genesis 27:39-40).
