Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday met with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull in New York, and the Israeli PM's office released the following exchange between them:
Turnbull: 'Very good. Well, Lucy [Turnbull] was there earlier this year. .... We've launched our first innovation center there [in Tel Aviv] with you. Really, the start-up nation has been great inspiration to our whole innovation agenda.... you have to innovate, to take on the challenges of technology and bring the imagination to bear on technology. That's how you secure prosperity.'
Netanyahu: 'I agree. I think the future belongs to those who innovate. We both have innovative nations and we can do a lot more together than we can separately. And also, we owe you one for the Australian troops and the liberation of our country from the Ottoman Empire. That was a great event. I think it was the last cavalry rush in history.'
Turnbull: 'The last cavalry charge, Â that's right, in Be'er Sheba.'

'They have seen vanity and lying divination that say: Hashem saith; and Hashem hath not sent them yet they hope that the word would be confirmed!' Ezekiel 13:6 (The Israel Bible)
King Francois Ayi, claiming to be the King of Togo in exile, came to Israel as part of his desire to become Jewish. He met with ministers from the Israeli government as well as major rabbinic figures, including Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky. He recently announced his plan to bring hundreds of African kings to the Kotel in Jerusalem during the upcoming holiday of Sukkoth in order to sing out the Jewish prayer, 'Shema Yisrael'.
Rabbi David Assur, a prominent rabbi and the king's strongest proponent, publicly declared last week that the King's professed desire to convert to Judaism was a total sham. ... he was put in charge of Francois Ayi's conversion process and was in close personal contact with him over several months.
'He was with me for two months. I was willing to help him, as long as he did what I told him, what he agreed to and signed on to, as long as he followed the Torah and mitzvoth (commandments)' said Rabbi Assur to Kikar Shabbat, a Hebrew language Orthodox news service. 'Little by little, I began to notice that he wasn't adhering to these things. I saw that he was using his cell-phone on Shabbat to make announcements. But even worse than that, I saw in the media that he was taking part in ceremonies that were nothing less than idol worship. It is impossible to include foreign Gods into Judaism. It is either one or the other, but not both.'
The rabbi also began to see deeper problems. Francois thought he was the messiah and had convinced others to believe this as well. 'It is impossible to continue to work with this man if he declares that he is the Messiah,' said Rabbi Asur. 'His intention was to crown himself in Jerusalem.
Rabbi Assur confronted Ayi about these claims.
'He said that God told him to say these things. I was shocked and asked him when he spoke to God. He began to speak as if he was a prophet,' Rabbi Assur said.
Rabbi Assur investigated Francois' claims that he was a king and was dismayed to discover they were a false as his desire to enter into the covenant of Abraham.
'I just spoke to the son of the actual king in Ghana. The son converted and lives in Holon and is a pious and learned Jew. Ghana and Togo are neighboring countries with close relations,' Rabbi Assur explained. 'The King of Ghana never heard of Francois Ayi. Francois claimed to be the King of African Kings. It isn't possible that he would be so, and the King of Ghana never heard of him. Also, a professor in Togo wrote a paper about the seventeen kings of Togo. Francois Ayi does not appear on that list.'

On the eve of the Tisha B'Av fast on Sunday, in which Jews commemorate the destruction of the First and Second temples, Channel 2 news followed a group of female devotees who call themselves 'Women for the Temple' and are diligently toiling in private as well as public forums to realize their dream of a third temple in Jerusalem.
The group's members are hard at work preparing themselves for the many needs of the temple, when it comes, poring over Scripture and following its instructions. They are learning how to prepare sacrificial offerings, how to bake the sourdough bread required for the rites and how to cultivate the so-called crimson worm with which the priests' vestments are dyed.
Perhaps most important of all, they are studying how to make the parochet, Â in ancient times the great curtain that separated the Temple's main hall from the Holy of Holies and the Ark of the Covenant it contained (nowadays the cloth that covers the Torah ark in synagogues is called a parochet).

4. Turkey Promotes anti-Jewish Conspiracy Theory
There's a new bogeyman in Turkey, and, for a change, he's not a Jew

There was, for instance, a twisted Jewish American army doctor (surprisingly played by Gary Busey), who sold Iraqi prisoners' organs to rich people in Tel Aviv in 2006's 'Valley of the Wolves: Iraq.' Reviving ancient blood libels, 2010's 'Valley of the Wolves: Ambush' focused on Israeli Mossad agents spying against Turkey, Â and kidnapping Turkish babies.
With ratings that can reach above 50 percent on mainstream Turkish TV, the television and film series breaks box office records as it unapologetically depicts the latent, consensus anti-Semitism and anti-Israeli sentiment rife in Turkish culture. (According to the Anti-Defamation League, 71% of adult Turks harbor anti-Semitic views.)
But the series goes even further in 2011's 'Valley of the Wolves: Palestine,' wherein Israeli soldiers are shown wantonly slaughtering Turkish activists on a Gaza flotilla. In its mix of fact and fiction, the film becomes a propagandist rabble-rousing window into the Turkey of Recep Tayyip Erdo an.

5. Barry Chamish Passed Away on August 23, 2016!
Barry Chamish has recently passed away. We almost did not notice it! Where were all the Obituaries? The final declarations? Is this the way it goes? With barely a whimper?
BC was idolized by numerous "Ephraimites". One Ephraimite leader bought an article to an important meeting with us thinking we would welcome the new "revelations".
We HOWEVER were against BC and in our postings and articles pointed out serious factual inaccuracies and physical impossibilities in some of his reports.
Many were offended by our position.
One Ephraimite leader in effect threatened us with losing his support and that of others because we dared criticized BC!!! [Later this same person did indeed participate in a de facto boycott of Brit-Am. ]
BC did a service by pointing out anomalies in the official explanation of the Assassination of Israeli PM Yitschak Rabin on 4 November 1995.Â
Apart from that he also circulated false reports on some issues and promoted Conspiracy Theories that were mistaken and in effect inimical to the Jewish People and the State of Israel.
BC is now in the world of truth and probably is aware of the truth or lack of it in his teachings.
