Turns out that of all the ultra-Orthodox leaders Trump could connect with, he picked an heir of the Ruzhiner, the Rebbe of Boyan, Rabbi Nachum Dov Brayer, an American Rebbe who made aliyah as a teenager and has been leading the Boyan movement since 1985. According to the website B'Hadrei Haredim, Donald Trump has been a heavy donor to the Ruzhin-Boyan Tiferet Israel yeshiva in Jerusalem.
The President Elect... has maintained his own ties with the Boyanner Hasidim, including attending their events, donating to their appeals and buying up pages in their journals.
Hadrei Haredim on Wednesday cites a Boyan Hasid who said that it is clear Trump is 'connected to the heart of the Jewish people and there's no doubt he is one of the righteous among the gentiles who will bring only good things to the nation dwelling in Zion.'

2. Ivanka Trump and Shabbat: Pure family time. Â Chabad, Mikvaot, Hatzolah

Extracts:
A testimony to the beauty of Shabbat came from an unlikely source - Ivanka Trump, the 35-year-old daughter of US president elect Donald Trump. She converted to Judaism seven years ago.
'We observe the Sabbath,' she said. 'From Friday to Saturday we don't do anything but hang out with one another.'
When she was 27, Ivanka, raised Presbyterian, converted to Judaism in an Orthodox rabbinical court in New York. She took on observance of Shabbat, holidays and kashrut, and adopted the Hebrew name Yael. Last winter Donald Trump said, 'I have a Jewish daughter. This wasn't in the plan, but I'm very glad it happened.'
In 2009 she married real estate investor Jared Kushner, from a prominent New Jersey religious family.
Ivanka herself supports Jewish philanthropies such as Chabad, mikvaot (ritual baths) and United Hatzalah [emergency medical assistance, ambulances, etc].
Ivanka and husband are Orthodox Sabbath and Jewish holiday observers. Her father got used to the fact that from dusk Friday until nightfall Saturday every week they were inaccessible by phone, SMS, or email. She disengages from the business world and is incommunicado for 25 hours, despite her being pivotal as an executive vice president in the Trump organization and having been a key campaigner in the presidential campaign. This in addition to her own jewelry and fashion business. On Saturdays she puts aside all these endeavors - Shabbat is more important.
Ivanka and Jared have three children: Arabella, who attends kindergarten at an Orthodox day school in Manhattan where they live, Joseph (3) and seven-month old Theodore who was born during his grandfather's the presidential campaign.

3. The Curse of Oslo

Oslo is Devastating to Jewish Lives
(Marty M. - Opinion from FaceBook)

Oslo has been quite expensive, not just in terms of time, money & human capital entertaining world leaders, but in the cost of loss of life of our loved ones. Since Oslo, from signing in 1993 till today & still counting, the death toll is 1876 lives lost over a 23 year period. 379 lives were butchered in 1993 alone. This is, as opposed to terror attacks before the Oslo Accord, from statehood in 1948 till the signing of Oslo has cost us 1559 lives over a 44 year period. That is an average of 81.56 deaths a year since the signing of Oslo, as opposed to 35.43 deaths a year before Oslo. So, what benefit has Oslo bought us, and why are we still living with it?

Oslo Accords
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oslo_Accords
The Oslo Accords are a set of agreements between the government of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO): the Oslo I Accord, signed in Washington, D.C., in 1993[1] and the Oslo II Accord, signed in Taba in 1995.[2] The Oslo Accords marked the start of the Oslo process, a peace process that is aimed at achieving a peace-treaty based on the United Nations Security Council Resolution 242 and 338, and to fulfill the "right of the Palestinian people to self-determination." The Oslo process started after secret negotiations in Oslo, resulting in the recognition by the PLO of the State of Israel and the recognition by Israel of the PLO as the representative of the Palestinian people and as a partner in negotiations.
The Oslo Accords created the Palestinian Authority, whose functions are the limited self-governance over parts of the West Bank and Gaza Strip; and, it acknowledged that the PLO is now Israel's partner in permanent status negotiations about the remaining issues. The most important issues are the borders of Israel and Palestine, the Israeli settlements, the status of Jerusalem, the question of Israel's military presence in and control over the remaining territories after the recognition of the Palestinian autonomy by Israel, and the Palestinian right of return. The Oslo Accords, however, did not create a Palestinian state.[3]

The Oslo Agreement, also knows as the Oslo Accords, is an agreement signed between the State of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) on September 13, 1993, meant to effectively bring the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to its end by means of territorial concessions and facilitating the creation of the Palestinian Authority.
Â
The accords, representing a milestone in Israeli-Palestinian relations, were finalized in Oslo, Norway, on August 20, 1993. The official signing ceremony was held in Washington the following September, with then-Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat representing both sides and US President Bill Clinton serving as their witness.
