1. 'AMERICA'S SPIRITUAL UNDERPINNINGS COME FROM JERUSALEM'
by Hezki Baruch

Extracts:
Representatives from around the world gathered in the City of David, just outside of the Old City of Jerusalem, on Sunday, for the unveiling of the Pilgrim's Road, a key archeological site in the Israeli capital city.
Addressing the gathering, [US] Ambassador {David] Friedman hailed the discovery of the Second Temple-period walkway as one of the greatest archeological discoveries of the 20th century.
"The discovery in the City of David... is one of the greatest archeological discoveries, perhaps in the century," said Friedman.
"The centrality of Jerusalem to the Jewish people and the two Jewish temples - we all knew that, but now we have the irrefutable evidence."
.... "Whether there was ever any doubt of the propriety and accuracy...of President Trump recognizing Jerusalem, I think this lays it to rest."
"Why did an American ambassador come to this event to speak here?"
"What the Declaration of the Independence did was to rethink the relationship between government and the citizens, but how did the founding fathers know what rights to enshrine?"
"They came from the Bible," continued Friedman. "And what place did the Bible come from?"
"The spiritual underpinnings of our society in which we honor the dignity of every human life comes from Jerusalem."

(a) Support by Country

Most countries support Israel's right to exist, even if they are (for whatever reason) unsympathetic to Israel's plight.
As for countries that do sympathize:
The United States is largely pro-Israel, at least at the governmental level. The general population isn't nearly as supportive. Antisemitism, even in the United States, is still extremely high. Universities, the mainstream media, pop culture, and religious institutions are all awash with antisemitism (both subtle and overt), and it seems it's only a matter of time before we have an anti-Israel administration. The rest of America supports Israel as an embattled democracy in a sea of tyranny.
Canada, the UK, and Australia are in the same boat as America.
Many indigenous tribes throughout the world recognize Israel's re-establishment as a victory against colonialism. For example: the Kurds, Assyrians, Seneca, Lakota, Maori, Biafrans, etc.
Evangelical Christians and Catholics in South America are very pro-Israel, albeit for reasons that have very little to do with Jews. Just recently, hundreds of thousands of Brazilians greeted Netanyahu as if he were a rock star.
Most non-Muslim states in Asia and Africa. India, South Korea, and the Philippines are especially supportive.
Germany supports Israel, albeit largely out of guilt. Antisemitism is taboo there.
Czechoslovakia is sympathetic. They even voted against anti-Israel resolutions in the UN, defying Arab/Islamic political pressure.
Ireland and South Africa are mostly anti-Israel, although both have large pro-Israel communities.
Iran was pro-Israel before the Mullahs took over. Who knows what it would be like if/when they are overthrown.
Norway and Finland.

3. ARE THE 'ETHIOPIAN PROTESTS' REALLY LED BY ETHIOPIANS?
by David Rosenberg
Extracts:
A far-left organization funded by the New Israel Fund has been actively aiding the recent wave of protests, many of them violent, which erupted across the country following the shooting death of Solomon Tekah, an Ethiopian teenager, in Haifa.
While some of the protests across the country have been peaceful, others turned violent, including attacks on police officers, ambulances, and private cars.
The joint Arab-Jewish "Standing Together" organization, which is funded by the NIF, has taken an active role in the protests ...
In many instances, participants in the more violent demonstrations are clearly not members of the Ethiopian community, with a number of Arab and non-Ethiopian Jewish rioters spotted taking part in the riots.
'About half of the demonstrators I saw were Arabs or non-Ethiopian [Jews],' said one witness, Yosef Tavin, who filmed one road-blocking demonstration in central Israel.
'There is, of course, a large group of Ethiopians holding signs and flags, but there is a group that's just as large of Arabs, and you can basically see that the Arabs are the ones running the demonstration and deciding where, who, when to attack, who will get stones and who won't.'
'During the demonstration, I filmed a lot of rioting and violence. But then all of the sudden I noticed that there is someone, an Ashkenazi woman, who is bossing around the demonstrators, and they're all listening to her.'
