1. Turkey as a Terrorist Nation, Oppressor of Minorities, Occupier of Territories
Due to the frequent Media attacks by the Turkish Government against Israel. and the recent attyempts at territorial expansion in Northern Syria by Turkey the following points are worth noting.
Turkey has ca. 82 million inhabitants and is included among the world military powers. Turkey produces cars and electrical goods for the European Market.
It has a definite industrial base of importance.
Turkey oppresses dissidents.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkey#Human_rights
Between 1998 and 2008 the European Court of Human Rights made more than 1,600 judgements against Turkey for human rights violations, particularly regarding the right to life, and freedom from torture.
Turkey supports Terrorist organizations including Hamas.
Turkey is a long time supporter of Hamas and of various terrorist organizations working against Israel and the Free World.

Turkey persecutes its minorities who altogether comrpise a good portion of the population. They who suffer include Alevi Muslims, and Kurds.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkey#Human_rights
Under the government of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) and Tayyip Erdo an, an increasing discrimination against and persecution of the Alevi minority has begun.[399][400][401]
Turkey occupies lands not its own.
In 1974 occurred a Turkish military invasion and occupation of the northern third of the island of Cyprus. Turkey has ruled over the area ever since with the Turkish Millitary stationed in the area and colonists from the Turkish mainland encouraged to settle.
This is in defiance of UN resolutions.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyprus_dispute
The vast majority of the Turkish occupied area was predominantly populated and owned by Greek Cypriots prior to 1974. In the process about 160,000[27] - 200,000[28] Greek Cypriots who made up 82% of the population in the north became refugees; many of them fleeing at the word of the approaching Turkish army.
According to the 2011 Northern Cyprus Census, there were 160,207 Turkish Cypriots born on the island who were resident in North Cyprus (TRNC).

In fact, in the last month of Obama's presidency in 2016 late in December, Biden served his boss, Obama, in threatening the Ukraine on another matter, the UN Security Council res. 2334, which was a very anti-Israel resolution, essentially saying that Jews/Israelis had no right to live across the 1949 Green Line, even in Jerusalem in places, neighborhoods, where Jews had lived before 1947. This episode seems to support the Trump-Giuliani version of events.

(b) Biden Speaks About Jewish Heritage of America
In a remarkable but under-reported address, Vice President Joe Biden acknowledged that the 'immense' and 'outsized' Jewish role in the US mass media and cultural life has been the single most important factor in shaping American attitudes over the past century, and in driving major cultural- political changes. 'Jewish heritage has shaped who we are, all of us - as much or more than any other factor in the last 223 years. And that's a fact," Biden told a gathering of Jewish leaders in Washington, DC.

3. Latvian Minister Praises Latvian SS Members
RT News (Russia)
In a disturbing example of revising the role of Nazi collaborators in World War II, a Latvian minister said veterans, his compatriots who fought in the Waffen-SS, were "heroes" and memories of their sacrifice must be cherished. 'It is our duty to honor these Latvian patriots from all the depths of our souls,' Defense Minister Artis Pabriks told the crowd during a memorial event on Saturday. He then called the Latvian legionnaires - Nazi collaborators now praised as freedom-fighters for their anti-Soviet alignment "heroes" and "the pride of the Latvian nation and state." ... The legionnaires comprised two grenadier divisions within the Waffen-SS ... Former legionnaires and their supporters stage annual marches in downtown Riga. Their cause is supported by many local right-wing politicians, historians, writers, and media figures.

4. Estonia to Restore Monument in Honor of SS
RT News
Estonia's plans to bring back a monument to a soldier dressed in Waffen SS uniform is a provocation and affront to the memory of those who died fighting the Nazis, the Russian Embassy has said. The stela with a bronze bas-relief depicts an armed trooper in Nazi gear, and a tablet reading: 'To Estonian men who fought in 1940-1945 against Bolshevism and for the restoration of Estonian independence.' It caused a lot of controversy after being erected at the cemetery in the town of Lihula in August 2004. The government ordered its removal less than two weeks later ... Nazi sympathizers staged rallies on the spot where the stela once stood ... This June, a local MP for the Conservative People's Party (EKRE) in the Laaneranna Parish Council suggested that it was high time to restore the SS monument.

(a) According to the Institute of Food Technologists (2016), 80% of kosher food consumers are not Jewish. Approximately 35 million non- Jewish consumers purchase Kosher products, whereas Jewish consumers of kosher products are estimated at 1.3 million (Lubicom, 2016).

A non-Jewish colleague of mine in the States had a young daughter with an extreme allergy to dairy products. My children sometimes babysat her and had to watch her like hawks, since she was attracted to forbidden foods like moths to a flame. Even trace amounts of milk in a product could send this girl to the emergency room, possibly threatening her life.
The mother learned that kosher products certified Pareve are guaranteed to have not even trace amounts of milk. What a godsend for her daughter! She asked me about the various kosher certification bodies so that she could choose the strictest one.
I read once about another case of non-Jews consuming kosher products. A brand of vodka sold in Poland advertised itself as being kosher. I don't know if it really was, or if there are any restrictions on vodka to be kosher. But this brand became very popular, since Poles assumed it must be cleaner.

10. Comment by Yair Davidiy on Recent Israeli Issues. IN Defence of Hareidim
http://abuyehuda.com/2019/09/a-unity-government-without-arabs-and-without-haredim/#comments
Shalom,
In your article "A Unity Government, Without Arabs and Without Haredim"
you remarked (after quoting an authority) that,
"the academic accomplishments of Israeli children are among the worst in the developed world. Without a well-educated population, we will not be able to maintain our first-world economy, or for that matter, our first-world military."
Fair enough.
You then proceeded to claim that part of the problem lies with the Hareidim. The rest of your article was also mostly concerned with the Ultra-Orthodox.
The accomplishments of Israeli children are on the whole those of the Secular and National Religious sectors. They are the ones where the majority of students are to be found. They are also the sectors that receive most of the resources. Governmental authorities invest five times as much in a secular child compared to a Hareidi one. If there is a problem with educational results then the non-Hareidi sectors should be the ones to be challenged. The Hareidim are not really interested in imparting knowledge on secular subjects but the Secular and their ilk are, or purport to be. They are those who have failed in the cause they champion and receive money for. The Hareidim concentrate on other aspects of education. Relatively speaking they are successful in raising children with those values and background they hold to be valuable. The other segments of society could perhaps learn from them concerning pedagogical methods and attitude as well as subject matter.
While we are on the subject of utilizing available human resources and Hareidim a few more remarks may be in place.
The Israeli Civil Service is the largest employer in the country. Hareidim are virtually barred from it. Why is that?
The situation has been compared to Poland and its discrimination against Jews before World War-2.
The bureaucracy in Israel is ranked alongside those of third world countries and is one of the factors holding the country back.
Its negative attitude towards Strongly Observant Religious Jews does not seem to have helped it.
If the Powers-that-be were serious about wanting more Hareidim in the work force they would do something to rectify the matter.
The same applies in other fields. Give the Hareidim more of a stake in the country and a more equitable access to available resources and matters might change.
As for serving or not serving in the army in Biblical Times the Tribe of Levi also did not go out to war with the rest of Israel.
Some Hareidim do serve in the IDF and some do not.
Personally I agree with the view that full-time Torah scholars should always be exempt. Torah learning has a value in its own right. Apart from that our continued existence in this Land is dependent on a modicum of Torah observance (Exodus 6:4, Leviticus 18:26-28, 20;22, 25:38,1-Chronicles 16:17-18, Psalm 105:10-11). Torah Learning is a precondition for this. In the Army you have soldiers who cook, who sit in offices, who do all sorts of others things apart from the ones who actually fight. Similarly, Jewish society is better off with as many Torah scholars as possible.
Before we get to an examination of these issues however there are other matters needing clarification.
The IDF has educational aims. It is exploited by Secular Powers to influence inductees in a secular direction. Even without a conscious ideological aim the objective reality gives it a secularizing effect. Most Religious Jews who go into the IDF come out less observant than when they went it.
This is part of an ideological war over the soul of the Jewish people. The conscription of female soldiers is not necessary. It may cost more than it is worth. It is actually military deleterious. Studies have been done in Israel, the USA, UK, and elsewhere confirming the negative effects women in the military have. Facts on the ground however on this issue do not matter. For ideological reasons the policy will be maintained. The secular forces in Israeli society will be prepared to make the sacrifice for the sake of a secular ideology. It may also be the case that the IDF does not need more soldiers than it already has. Pressure to conscript Hareidim does not emanate from defense needs but rather from anti-Religious ideological ones.
I could go on but I doubt that this is necessary.

11. Can the Israeli-Palestinian conflict be simplified to one issue?
by Tim Benton, Journalist for www.0censor.com, politics and Middle East
https://www.quora.com/Can-the-Israeli-Palestinian-conflict-be-simplified-to-one-issue
Yes, the Arabs want the Jews to die, the Jews don't want to.
If you doubt what is stated, just listen to what the Arabs have said over the years.
'Kill the Jews wherever you find them. This pleases God, history and religion.'
- Haj Amin al-Husseini, Mufti of Jerusalem
(Radio Berlin, March 1, 1944; quoted in Robert Wistrich, Muslim Anti-Semitism: A Clear and Present Danger [American Jewish Committee, 2002], p. 47)
'I personally wish that the Jews do drive us to this war, as this will be a war of extermination and momentous massacre which will be spoken of like the Tartar massacre or the Crusader wars.'
- Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General of the Arab League
(Akhbar al-Yom, Egypt, October 11, 1947; quoted in David Barnett and Efraim Karsh, 'Azzam's Genocidal Threat,' Middle East Quarterly, Fall 2011)
'If the Jewish state becomes a fact, and this is realized by the Arab peoples, they will drive the Jews who live in their midst into the sea, Even if we are beaten now in Palestine, we will never submit. We will never accept the Jewish state... But for politics, the Egyptian army alone, or volunteers of the Muslim Brotherhood, could have destroyed the Jews.'
- Hassan al-Banna, Muslim Brotherhood founder
(New York Times, August 2, 1948)
'Israel, to the Arab world, is like a cancer to the human body, and the only way of remedy is to uproot it just like a cancer.' Had we united then [in 1948] Israel would not have come into existence. Israel is a serious wound in the Arab world body, and we cannot endure the pain of this wound forever. We don't have the patience to see Israel remain occupying part of Palestine for long. We Arabs total about 50,000,000. Why don't we sacrifice 10,000,000 of our number to live in pride and self-respect?'
- King Saud of Saudi Arabia
(New York Times, January 10, 1954)
'We are awaiting aggression by Israel and any supporters of Israel. We will make it a decisive battle and get rid of Israel once and for all. This is the dream of every Arab.'
- Gamal Abdel Nasser, President of Egypt
(Washington Post, July 27, 1959)
'It is our chance, Arabs, to direct a blow of death and annihilation to Israel and all its presence in our Holy Land. It is a war for which we are waiting and in which we shall triumph.'
- Egyptian government broadcast
(Voice of the Arabs, May 19, 1967; quoted in Walter Laqueur, The Road to War [Pelican Books, 1969], p. 105)
'We shall never allow Israel to live in peace. We shall never recognize Israel, never accept the usurper, the colonialist, the imperialist.'
- Farouk Kaddoumi
(Der Stern, West Germany, July 30, 1981)
'You Germans have great expertise in the killing of Jews with gas. This interests us in the same way. How [can] this knowledge be used to destroy Israel?'
- General Amer al-Saadi, Iraqi chemical weapons commander
(Kenneth Timmerman, The Death Lobby [Bantam Books, 1992], p. 81)
'We have to accept the [Oslo] deal and wait for a change in the circumstances that could lead to the elimination of Israel.'
- Abu el-Aynayn, PLO commander in Rashidieh, Lebanon
(US News and World Report, September 27, 1993)
'If they [Jews] all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide.'
- Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah leader
(Daily Star, Lebanon, October 23, 2002)
'Israel should be wiped from the face of the earth. It is an animal state that recognises no human worth. It is a cancer that should be eradicated.'
- Ghazi Hamad, Hamas spokesman
(BBC, November 8, 2006)
'Oh Allah, vanquish the Jews and their supporters. Oh Allah, vanquish the Americans and their supporters. Oh Allah, count their numbers, and kill them all, down to the very last one.'
- Ahmad Bahr, Palestinian Legislative Council acting speaker
(Sudan TV, April 13, 2007)
I can go on, but this should suffice.

12. Arnold Roth. This Ongoing War: A Blog
08-Oct-19: Again: Jordan's inscrutable US relationship
http://thisongoingwar.blogspot.com/
Extracts:
The Jordanian government harbors and safeguards within its borders the Sbarro pizzeria bomber, Ahlam Tamimi, a Hamas jihad agent. It has been doing this since at least March 2017, days after the US Department of Justice unveiled terrorism charges against her and announced that it had called on Jordan to extradite her under their 1995 treaty.
Since then, and despite repeated efforts by us - Frimet and Arnold Roth whose daughter Malki was murdered in the terror attack masterminded by Tamimi - the US government has not once stated publicly in any form or any language that it views Jordan's unstated failure to extradite as being in clear breach of the 1995 Extradition Treaty signed by the two countries.
From US law enforcement services, we have learned that they are ready to take Tamimi into custody. The problem is Jordan won't allow it.
We have written polite and carefully drafted letters to a variety of senior officials in the Department of Justice, to officials in the State Department, to the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, to a variety of US diplomats posted in the Middle East. Not one of these has produced a satisfactory response, no matter how generously "satsifactory" is defined.
Jordan continues, despite the outrageous finger-in-the-American-eye, to be treated by the United States as if nothing had happened. Our objections, as the parents of a child, a US citizen, murdered in the Sbarro massacre, are for all practical purposes ignored.
The government-controlled Jordan Times has just produced the next chapter in this ongoing process of US self-debasement.
King receives US congressional delegationMeeting focuses on Jordanian-US cooperation, strategic partnership, latest regional developments
Jordan Times | October 6, 2019
AMMAN. His Majesty King Abdullah, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Hussein, at Al Husseiniya Palace on Sunday, received a US congressional delegation headed by US House of Representatives member Jason Crow.
The meeting, attended by HRH Prince Feisal, focused on Jordanian-US cooperation and strategic partnership, in addition to the latest regional developments, according to a Royal Court statement.
King Abdullah expressed Jordan's appreciation for the support provided by the United States in development and defence, emphasising the important role of Congress in this regard, the statement said.
Discussing the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, His Majesty stressed the need to step up international efforts to end the conflict based on the two-state solution, which guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
.... We're speechless.

13. Lack of Water in the Middle East and Africa
Source:
David Horowitz Freedom Center
Daniel Pipes
An official of Iran's government has said that 70 percent of the country's population will have to leave unless there's some major change to the use of water.
In Yemen, some villagers are allotted one liter, or roughly one quart, of water per day.
Ethiopia's damming of the Blue Nile has created a looming crisis in Egypt, which overwhelmingly depends on that river's waters.
Africa's population is expected to double from 1 billion to 2 billion by 2050, and quadruple to 4 billion by 2100.
It's reasonable to say that the number of would-be immigrants to Europe easily matches the number of the population of Europe itself. Including Russia, that is 740 million people. Tens and hundreds of millions of people will want to leave the Middle East and Africa; where will they want to go to? Mostly to the West: especially Europe, the United States, Canada, and Australia.
[Brit-Am Comment: The lack of water is already nearing crisis level in South Africa. Added to its other problems this does not bode well for the descendants of European (and others) in that country].

14. Would 4 years of infantry destroy a female body?
https://www.quora.com/Would-4-years-of-infantry-destroy-a-female-body
by Joe Copeland
former Rifleman/Squad Leader at U.S. Marine Corps (2010-2014)
Upvoted by Joe Francis, Sergeant in Marine Corps, Officer in US Army, 26 years service and Jordan White, Served as USAF Security Forces. AFSC 3P051.
[Slightly Edited by Brit-Am]
The infantry is a hard place. It didn't destroy my body but it got the job started. When I started my journey in the infantry I was a healthy, fit, 18year-old male with no physical ailments to speak of.
I was never injured in combat, but my body is definitely damaged. Here are some of the injuries/problems I have now:
Back pain- Which led to back surgery after walking on a cane for 6 months.
Knee pain- Literally every step aches.
Ankle pain- When one joint is messed up the others follow suit due to compensation for the weak joint.
Neck pain- Wearing a helmet puts stress on the neck.
Hearing loss/Tinnitus- My ears ring loud enough at times to make me wince. Not to mention hearing regular conversation is difficult.
IBS- I contracted dysentery while I was in Afghanistan 7 years ago and my stomach has been a complete wreck ever since.
Despite what gender equality movements profess, and the rest of the bullshit spewed out in today's strange world, there are distinct physiological differences in the male and female body. Just because you don't want to admit something is true because it disagrees with your beliefs doesn't make it not so. With that being said I'm going to share a story with you I witnessed first hand.
It was a brisk winter morning in the swampy woodlands of North Carolina. I was deep in my training at the School of Infantry East on my way to becoming a Rifleman in the USMC. Somewhere halfway down the column of two's, I stamped left foot in front of right with pack full of gear weighing down heavily on my back.
It was a rare opportunity when our hike crossed paths with that of a co-ed line of Marines participating in their brief combat training at MCT (Marine Combat Training). Cat calls were shouted back and forth like bickering siblings.
We gained on them and outpaced them before long when a blood-curdling scream was let out as a Woman Marine fell out of formation writhing in pain in the soggy gravel. Her hip had snapped under the weight of her pack and her career in the Marines was abruptly ended.
This is the story that always comes to my mind when comparing gender capabilities in the infantry seeing as I never saw anything like that happen to a male. It could be that she was just particularly weak bodied and that break was inevitable. It could be that it was a freak accident. But, it could also be that her body wasn't made for such things through the process of evolution and the effect gender roles had on said evolution over a period of thousands of years.
In summation, yes, the Marine Corps will damage a female body for sure and it can even destroy it in the rare cases.

15. US Support for Israel and Brit-Am Comment
"Since the October War in 1973, Washington has provided Israel with a level of support dwarfing the amounts provided to any other state. It has been the largest annual recipient of direct U.S. economic and military assistance since 1976 and the largest total recipient since World War ll. Total direct U.S. aid to Israel amounts to well over $140 billion in 2003 dollars. Israel receives about $3 billion in direct foreign assistance each year, which is roughly one-fifth of America's entire foreign aid budget. In per capita terms, the United States gives each Israeli a direct subsidy worth about $500 per year. This largesse is especially striking when one realizes that Israel is now a wealthy industrial state with a per capita income roughly equal to South Korea or Spain."
- John J. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt, "The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy"
Brit-Am Comment:
The authors of the above report apparently thought that the US support for Israel is too much.
We think they fail to appreciate the value of what Israel is and does.
Nevertheless, it also shows that at some level of National Consciousness many among the citizens of the US identify with the Jews in the Holy Land.
