A stampede erupted Tuesday at a funeral procession for Qassem Soleimani, struck down in a U.S. airstrike last week, killing 40 people (up from an initially reported number of 35) and injuring more than 200 others, state television reported.
According to the report, the stampede took place in Kerman, the hometown of Revolutionary Guard Gen. Soleimani, as the procession got underway. Initial videos posted online showed people lying lifeless on a road, others shouting and trying to help them.
A procession in Tehran on Monday drew over 1 million people in the Iranian capital, crowding both main thoroughfares and side streets in Tehran.

Palestinians living in Iraq were recently stripped of the equal-rights status they had enjoyed under Saddam Hussein. Now, the Palestinians are complaining that they are being targeted by the Iraqi authorities and various militias.
Their complaints, however, seem to have been ignored by the international community, including Western activists and human rights organizations that describe themselves as pro-Palestinian.
No one in the international community cares about Palestinians when they are targeted by their Arab brothers.
The United Nations, European Union and various human rights organizations pay attention to the Palestinians only when they find a way to hold Israel responsible for their suffering.
The number of Palestinians in Iraq has dropped from more than 40,000 before 2003 to fewer than 6,000 today...
More than 4,000 Palestinians have been killed in Syria since the beginning of the civil war there in 2011. Palestinians in Lebanon are banned from working in about 70 professions, such as medicine, law and engineering, or joining any professional association. No one cares about these Palestinians because they are being killed and denied jobs by their own Arab brothers. Palestinians are victims not only of their Arab brothers, but also of the double standards of the international community, which continues to be obsessed only with Israel.

3. World's leading Rabbi: Jews Should Carry Guns!
A Rav from Monsey asked Hagaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky if guards with weapons should be posted at shuls in America due to the recent spate of anti-Semitic incidents.
Rav Chaim first answered that everyone should do as they want. But then Rav Chaim was told that the mispallelim want to do what the Rav tells them and Harav Chaim said not to post guards.
The second question was should some mispallelim acquire weapons to bring to shul?
Harav Chaim answered that they should if it's pikuach nefesh [Saving of Life].
The question was explained further that it's not a matter of 'immediate' pikuach nefesh, but of potential pikuach nefesh due to the recent spike in anti-Semitic attacks.
Harav Chaim answered that mispallelim [Those who Pray]can bring weapons to shul.
