This article expresses an opinion we do not necessarily agree but which is worth considering.
It is short and interesting, contains valuable information, and is clearly presented.

The author, Martin Lightfoot, is an executive member of the BIWF (British Israel World Federation).
Recently we have published a few critical articles concerning the BIWF.
Nevertheless it is worth emphasizing:
Most members of the BIWF are probably of Israelite descent and good people.
A few bad eggs are apparently to be found amongst their leadership and contributors to their publications.
This does not excuse any of them from responsibility but it is worth keeping in mind.

These Hattians were to eventually settle in Hesse in central Germany ....The Hattians of Asia Minor were a Semitic people (i.e. white) whereas the Biblical Hittites were Hamitic (i.e. black). When therefore Nebuchadnezzar claimed to have conquered the whole area of Khatti-land, he was actually claiming that the whole of Hesse-ia now belonged to him. The name Hesse-ia, when transliterated into Greek, becomes Asia! This designation of Asia started in Anatolia (known in later times as Asia Minor!), extending into north Syria during the time of Sennacherib and extending to include the land of Israel during the time of Nebuchadnezzar. Today, Asia is the designation used for the continent in the Far East.

[Genesis 6:9] THESE ARE THE GENERATIONS OF NOAH: NOAH WAS A JUST MAN AND PERFECT IN HIS  GENERATIONS, AND NOAH WALKED WITH GOD.
Noah went with God according to the Will of God as he understood it.                     
 
[Genesis 6:18] BUT WITH THEE WILL I ESTABLISH MY COVENANT; AND THOU SHALT COME INTO THE ARK,  THOU, AND THY SONS, AND THY WIFE, AND THY SONS' WIVES WITH THEE.    
Noah was destined to continue the human race.  In the genes of Noah and his sons and their womenfolk were distilled something out of all the generations that had gone before them.

[Genesis 7:1] AND THE LORD SAID UNTO NOAH, COME THOU AND ALL THY HOUSE INTO THE ARK; FOR THEE HAVE I SEEN RIGHTEOUS BEFORE ME IN THIS GENERATION. 
"IN THIS GENERATION":  The Sages  said that this expression could be understood in either one of two contradictory ways: (1) Noah was righteous relative to his generation but in another age he would not necessarily have been considered so. OR,
(2) Noah was absolutely righteous in his own generation and would have been even more so in another age. From this we may learn two things:
a. A person is to be judged according to his environment and circumstance.
b.  Our environment determines much of our achievement. In some cases a good person has no choice but to move elsewhere. This especially holds if one is charged with the upkeep of children etc who are especially vulnerable to influence from the surroundings.                 
 
[Genesis 9:5] AND SURELY YOUR BLOOD OF YOUR LIVES WILL I REQUIRE; AT THE HAND OF EVERY BEAST  WILL I REQUIRE IT, AND AT THE HAND OF MAN; AT THE HAND OF EVERY MAN'S BROTHER WILL I REQUIRE  THE LIFE OF MAN.   
If disasters come upon mankind it is sometimes due to manslaughter, infanticide, or abortions. This is a cause of insect borne diseases and other pestilences.                  
 
[Genesis 9:6] WHOSO SHEDDETH MAN'S BLOOD, BY MAN SHALL HIS BLOOD BE SHED: FOR IN THE IMAGE OF GOD MADE HE MAN.  
This  verse has several applications.
The death penalty should exist for extreme cases of murder rexcept for exceptional circumstance.  Studies in the UK and probably also elsewhere show that abolition of the death penalty has increased the number of murders committed.
"WHOEVER SHEDS THE BLOOD OF MAN, BY MAN SHALL HIS BLOOD BE SHED" is also understandable in the Hebrew as saying,
"WHOEVER SHEDS THE BLOOD OF MAN WITHIN A MAN, HIS BLOOD SHALL BE SHED (Genesis 9:6), i.e. whoever kills a human foetus!
The Hebrew has "Whoever kills a man by a man ("ba-Adam" also meaning "in a man") his blood shall be spilt", meaning either that the killer shall be killed "by means of a man" (The prefix "ba" or "bi" in Hebrew being similar to the English "by") or that anyone who kills a man "inside of" a man (i.e. a human foetus) shall be killed. Both meanings were understood by the Rabbis to be applicable and not contradictory but rather complementary.
        
[Genesis 9:7] AND YOU, BE YE FRUITFUL, AND MULTIPLY; BRING FORTH ABUNDANTLY IN THE EARTH, AND MULTIPLY THEREIN.                   Â
