1. New Article. The Power of Prayer. Anecdote from the Past
http://hebrewnations.com/articles/bible/prayer.html
Extract:
...The soldier was attacked by five Arabs wielding knives.
The soldier offered a short prayer and raised his rifle. He fired, and shot four of the Arabs directing his aim in an exact manner that resulted in their deaths. The fifth Arab fled. The soldier finding himself alone also left hurriedly, catching a ride from a passing vehicle on the road nearby.
Meanwhile the Arab who had fled returned to the scene, gathered up the knives, and took them back to the village where he hid them.
Shortly afterwards the soldier was arrested by the police and charged with four counts of deliberate homicide. ...

2. Douglas Augustine: Books Arrived
Dear Mr. Davidiy:
I am happy to report that the two books just arrived in good condition. They were well packaged with care to prevent exposure to any moisture. Now I have to decide which one to start reading first.
Best regards,
Douglas Augustine

#5. New Article (Polemics). Burma-Japan. Doubtful Identifications
Shalom Yair,
About the Japanese thing. The woman who claims that the language has connections with Hebrew appears to miss something:
Hebrew was the very first language, right? From Adam and Eve? So then even Noah's three sons would have carried it with them when they spread out. The Hebrew language was not exclusive to the descendants of Shem. Hebrew connections to language can be found in many of the world's other languages and Spanish is a very good example.
Also, some seem to be quite focused on the physical DNA to determine their roots. While in some cases, this might apply, we must look beyond that. The Almighty declared in Exodus and in Ezekiel that the sign for Israel would be the Sabbath. Is this happening within the Japanese people? This is what we should look for as it is scripturally sound.
blessings, mb

4. Orjan Svensson: Scania as New Canaan in relation to surrounding areas
Shalom,
I see now that the German name for Scania is Schonen, which is even more similar to Canaan.
My research indicates that the neighbouring province of Blekinge probably originally in the Iron Age was known as Mlechim or something similar, and named after Yam ha Melach - the Dead Sea. The Iron Age inhabitants of south Scandinavia seems to have seen the Baltic sea as "the New Salt Sea", and they called it probably "Melach" or something similar, and shores of the Baltic then were named Mlachim or something similar and from this the name Blekinge was derived later by transition from M to B.
To the east and north of Blekinge in the Baltic sea are the big islands of
Ãland and Gotland. I think that these were equated with territories of Reuben and Gad respectively, and Gotland was probably directly named after Gad.
To the west of Scania (the core of New Canaan) is Denmark, the territory of Dan, also in agreement with the original conditions in the land of Israel.
North (and a little west) of Scania we find Halland, which I now thinks was named after HA LEVANON. It was probably shortened into Hallon or something similar which then later became Halland.
One of the biggest rivers in Halland is Nissan, which maybe was so named since rivers have highest water normally in the month of Nissan in the Middle East.
Regards,
Orjan

5. Jay: More on Canada and the USA
Re: Brit-Am Now no. 2550
Hello Yair
George Forrester wrote something that is highly notable, though I don't understand it all.  I was born in Canada and lived there until I was 35 years old.  Oddly by the time I was six years old I wanted to live in the US.  Dad was an employee for a Canadian bank that had an office in San Francisco and as a young teen I hoped that Dad could have transferred to that office.  Finally I moved to the US as a student and in a sort of way I am still a student in the US now age 68.  In my time in Canada there were changes, mostly to disengage from Britain by the Liberal government under Pearson then Trudeau. Outside of Canada I have sensed a move to enhance British identity in Canada since 1976. Now that Justine Trudeau is PM.
