1. You Tube Clip about Ruth.
Ruth-2: Naomi
Duration: Â 19.12 minutes
Ruth the Gentile non-Israelite female from the people of Moab accompanies Naomi her mother-in-law who was become a widow. Naomi exhorts Ruth and Orpah (who was also her daughter-in-law) to return to their people and their gods. Orpah turns back. Ruth insists on staying with Naomi declaring that the People of Naomi is now her people and G-d of Naomi is now her G-d and their way of life will also be hers. Ruth is described as a Moabitess from the Country of Maob. We read the whole first chapter of the Book of Ruth showing how it emphasizes that Ruth was a Moabitess who had decided to attach herself to the God of Israel and to the Israelite nation. There is NO other G-d but the G-d of Israel!
