There indeed has been a continuous Samaritan presence in the Holy Land, and yet some percentage of them did leave for other lands -- a fact which their chief scholar Binyamim Sedaka concedes. Also, even the Jews never entirely left the Land of Israel.

I'm Irish American, I have a great, great grandma with the surname Solomon. I've always had an aversion to pork. I've also always felt very connected to GOD and His people. I even have a menorah and observe Sabat. Shalom.

3. Spiritual Symbolism: Joseph, Sex, and Largesse
We identify the Lost Ten Tribes as peoples in the west.
The English-speaking peoples have an especially significant component from the Tribes of Joseph (Ephraim and Manasseh) among them.
The Jewish People consist of an admixture of several tribes in which Judah is predominant.
We concentrate in our teachings on the Hebrew Bible which is accepted by both Jews and by non-Jews (under the title "Old Testament") who believe in the Bible.
This is a common denominator.
This is what we emphasize.
Yair Davidiy studies and teaches the subject of the Ten Tribes trying to adhere as much as possible to the Hebrew Bible.
In Jewish Spiritual Symbolism there is also much that is pertinent to these studies.
We may have a couple of articles or one or two talks on these matters.
This however will be an exception, a kind of extra-curriculum observation worth keeping in mind but not making it the main focus point.
Anyway, in rough general terms they say:
Joseph represents the Principle of Foundation (Yisod)Â leading to Royalty (Malcut) represented by Judah.
Influences from all the other tribes flow to Joseph who is a conduit to Judah.
The flow can also work in the opposite direction: Judah through Joseph reaching back to the others.
By Jews keeping the Law and establishing the State of Israel they are strengthening the whole edifice.
If Judah does not do what it should everyone suffers.
So too, concerning Joseph.
We see today that the USA instinctively supports Israel and is helped in this matter to some degree by the UK, Canada, and Australia.
This applies at least at the international diplomatic level.
The USA as Yisod should do what it is doing but more so.
It should strengthen itself and thus be of benefit to everybody.
The principle of Yisod is also that of Sexual Propriety.
By doing what is right in sexual matters, Yisod (i.e. Joseph) is strengthened, and vice versa.
This applies to all Israelites including Judah and the other tribes. It is however especially important for Joseph.
Help us get this message and related ones out to others.
Even in Biblical Times Joseph was the Provider for the Other Tribes.
Genesis 42:
6 Now Joseph was the ruler over the land; he was the one who sold to all the people of the land. And Joseph's brothers came and bowed down to him with their faces to the ground.Â
Joseph got to be what he was by refusing to participate in sexual impropriety (Genesis ch.39). He suffered for it but in the end it lead to him becoming great and helping the others.
