DNA is not a problem, rabbi. Face it. You are, or you are not. You cannot be something different from your ancestors, this is pure illusion. I am not from Spain btw. I am from Italy, and the DNA of my father is R1b cluster U152, which was the old cluster S 28, the cluster found in the bones of the ancient Romans. You can be only what your ancestors were.

I have Many ? of you Yair. First, could the Romans of the Second Temple period have been remnants of any of the 10 Tribes? What should we who have been raised as Christians anticipate relative the "joining" of the Tribes once it begins in sincerity? I've always had an affinity for Judaism, in spite of being raised in a home with a Fundamentalist Father and a Secular Mother. .....
Also, How are we to proceed with our New found knowledge? My Wife and I were in Israel in September over Yom Kippur and did not feel at All welcome by the Orthodoxy in and around the Old City. ... Frankly, it wasn't until away from the Old City that people actually displayed Any true form of hospitality and/or interest. This in spite of the fact we were occasionally presumed to be Jewish, as we had Multiple people ask Why we didn't speak Hebrew, as we ""looked" like we should! In any case we are in Love with Israel and there is hardly a day goes by that I don't find myself wishing to be there! My last question presently is; has anyone extrapolated approximately How many people could potentially be from one or more of the Lost Tribes, in this present Era? It would seem there is a potential for Billions to be carrying at least a portion of markers linking them. Something I find quite interesting is the fact my Father was born and raised in TN, always believing he was Primarily German, I recently discovered his Paternal Lineage is roughly 90% Irish/Scot and he came from a very Long line of Holy Men/Ministers etc... . Seems most of the folk who settled in and around the area of N. Carolina and TN, were nearly All Homogenous Celts. Go Figure? Also, not far from where his Mothers family is from, there is and odd stone with Hebrew and a Magen David, estimated to be from the Early 1600's. So many wonderful things are happening and I wait anxiously for more to be revealed? Thank You for your Energy and commitment to enlightening the World!
