2-Samuel 3:
2 Sons were born to David at Hebron: his firstborn was Amnon, by Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; 3 and his second, Chileab, by Abigail the widow of Nabal the Carmelite; and the third, Absalom the son of Maacah, the daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur; 4 and the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith; and the fifth, Shephatiah the son of Abital; 5 and the sixth, Ithream, by David's wife Eglah. These were born to David at Hebron.
David's wives in Hebron, according to 2 Samuel 3.
Ahinoam the Yizre'elite. His first born was Amnon. Yizreal is a valley in the region of Manasseh.
Abigail - the wife of Naval the Karmelite. His second was Kil'av. Karmel here means a village south of Hebron in the region of Judah.
Maacah - the daughter of Talmay - King of Geshur The third - Absalom - Geshur here may mean an Amorite people or another race perhaps related to the Philistines.
Haggith The fourth - Adoniyya. Unknown to us at present.
Abital The fifth - Shefatya.  Unknown to us at present.
Eglah The sixth Yitre'am.  Eglah according to tradition is another name for Michal the daughter of King Saul from the Tribe of Benjamin. Michal died in giving birth to this child.
The Bible says:
2-Samuel 6:23
"Michal the daughter of Saul had no child to the day of her death."
The Sages understood this to say that she had no child up to the day of her death but on that day (that she died) she gave birth.
 2-Samuel 5:
13 Meanwhile David took more concubines and wives from Jerusalem, after he came from Hebron; and more sons and daughters were born to David. 14 Now these are the names of those who were born to him in Jerusalem: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon, 15 Ibhar, Elishua, Nepheg, Japhia, 16 Elishama, Eliada and Eliphelet.
Solomon was the son of David by Bath Sheba who was the daughter of Eliam (2-Samuel 11:3).
Eliam was the son of Ahithophel the Gilonite (2-Samuel 23:34).Â
"And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counselor, from his city Giloh" Â (2 Samuel 15:12).
Giloh was in the territory of Judah south of Jerusalem.
It could be that not only Solomon but some of the other sons were also the offspring of David through Bathsheba.
