1. Brit-Am Criteria as Articles of Faith
We often stress that the goals of Brit-Am may be summarized by the Three Rs.
Research: proving where the Ten Tribes are
Revelation (i.e. Recognition, spreading the Message)
Reconciliation: Bringing Judah and Israel together.
These are our aims.

This was brought home to us recently.
The Criteria are what distinguish Brit-Am/Hebrew Nations from other groups.

We listed 10 Criteria:
1 Blessings: Economic and Physical Blessings as promised to Israel in Scripture.
2. Indications of Scripture: Biblical Evidence predicting whereto the Lost Ten Tribes would go, what type of religion and government they would have, etc.
3. Groundwork: Historical, Archaeological, and Related Proofs showing paths of migration. See Jeremiah 31:21. Dolmens showing Pathway of Migration Jeremiah 31:21
4. Judah: Affinity with the Jews: This entails proven feelings of kinship and sympathy with the Jews and a Relative Lack of Anti-Semitism when compared with others. This holds true even though Prophecy (Isaiah 11:13) also indicates that a certain degree of tension would always exist almost to the end between "Ephraim" and Judah.
5. Originality: Innovation and Intellect: A minimal degree of national Intellectual Wisdom and Honesty, cf. Deuteronomy 4:6.
6. Bravery: Proven Military Prowess in the past at least and at present in potential, see Deuteronomy 33:29.
7. Empathy: The Doing of Social Justice.
8. Israelite Self-Identification
9. Family Connection: The identified group should have proven "ethnic" links to at least one of the other identified groups so that the proofs of one may be applied to the other.
10. Tribal Affiliation: The Exiled Israelites were destined to settle in groups retaining much of their original Tribal cohesion or later through some kind of "homing" instinct members of the same Tribe tended to converge together.
See Isaiah 11:12 and the Midrash about the Ten Tribes (unlike Judah) not being scattered all over the place. We should therefore be able to at least tentatively identify specific national groups with specific Israelite Tribes and show how the Tribal Characteristics came through.
Further reflection says we could in effect reduce the above 10 by eliminating nos.1, 5, 6.
Nos 5 and 6 are not always apparent and no.1 is encompassed in no.2 (Scripture). [So are the others but less self-evidently].Â
This would give us Seven Criteria which is easy on the memory and together with the 3 Rs makes 10.
We therefore are left with:
Seven Criteria
1. Bible. Indications of Scripture especially the Blessings but other factors as well.
2. Groundwork: Historical, Archaeological, and Related Proofs.
3. Judah: Affinity with the Jews.
4. Empathy: The Doing of Social Justice.
5. Israelite Self-Identification
6. Family Connection
7. Tribal Affiliation.
We should perhaps emphasize these points some more and have greater discussion about them.
As well as being Criteria they are also Article of Faith and Guidelines for Action.

3. Bible Read-Through: We are Ahead of Schedule!
For the week beginning on 2 October, 2016.
We left off at 2-Chronicles ch. 10.
This puts us about one week ahead of schedule (due to a mistake on our part, nobody's perfect!).

Day 2: Rosh HaShanah (It is customary to read the Book of Ecclesiastes)
Day 3: Rosh HaShanah
On October 9, Day 1 (Sunday), the rest of the world will catch up to us if all goes well. We may then continue with 2-Chronicles ch. 11, to 12.
Anybody who has been lagging behind but is still interested in participation now has a chance to catch up.
