I understand that the phenotype of Ancient Egyptians remained more or less the same throughout its history.
In the beginning there were fair skinned Libyans in the northwest, with Canaanites and others in the Delta region to the east.
The Egyptians themselves were mainly of a copper skin type color, see:

Foreigners (e.g. Herodotos) described the Egyptians as dark or black.
There were black people in the Sudan who were taken to Egypt as slaves or soldiers or mercenaries though at times the Egyptians put guards on their borders tom keep them out.
At one stage there was at least one dynasty of black Sudanese rulers.
On the other hand many foreigners, especially Greeks and Jews, settled in the city of Alexandria in the north. These would have been relatively light in color.
The present day Egyptians include much Arab and other blood.
The Egyptian Copts (Christians) are more representative of the original Egyptians although they too intermixed with Greeks, Romans, and others.

I am not as familiar with the various services as I may seem.
My son and a few people I know did a test. I have not yet done so.
If however I was to take a test I would probably do it with FTDNA since they seem to provide the most user-friendly data base.
