I find it funny that the very national jerseys worn by the nation of Denmark have DANMARK right on them for the world to see and no one makes the obvious connection.

2. Torah Message: Time to Return to the Almighty
Deuteronomy (NASB) 30:
1 So it shall be when all of these things have come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind in all nations where the LORD your God has banished you, 2 and you return to the LORD your God and obey Him with all your heart and soul according to all that I command you today, you and your sons, 3 then the LORD your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the LORD your God has scattered you. 4 If your outcasts are at the ends of the earth, from there the LORD your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you back. 5 The LORD your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers.
6 Moreover the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live.

3. Change and Renewal. A New Year Message and
Extracts from Past Brit-Am Articles about Rosh HaShanah.
This year Rosh HaShana for the new year of 5781 begins
on Friday Evening, at nightfall, 19 September, 2020.
It lasts for 2 days and continues through the Sabbath (Saturday), finishing on Sunday when the sun sets.
The word for year in Hebrew is "Shana" (from the root ShNH) which connotes both repetition and change.
The etymology for English word "change" is given as,
# Middle English: from Old French change (noun), changer (verb), from late Latin cambiare, from Latin cambire 'barter', probably of Celtic origin. #
In other words they do not really know but guess it could be from something remotely similar elsewhere.
The Hebrew word "Shanah" in this instance as in 100s of other would appear to be a more reational possibility.
At all events, let is apply the word "SHANAH to ourselves.
What we did in the past that was good let us do again.
What we should have done differently let us change for the better.

Rosh HaShana for You.
https://hebrewnations.com/articles/rs.html
This is Rosh HaShana or the New Year Day for the purpose of judgment.
Leviticus 23:
24 Speak to the children of Israel, saying: In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial [Hebrew: Shabaton-Zicaron] of blowing of trumpets [Hebrew: Truah i.e. shofar blowing], a holy convocation. 25 You shall do no customary work on it; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD.
Concerning the Land of Israel we are told that it is,
Deuteronomy 11:
12 a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.
We thus have a beginning of the year and an end of the year.
This is the month of Tishrei on the Hebrew calendar and according to one tradition during this month the Ten Tribes will return.
[Isaiah 27:13] So it shall be in that day:
The great trumpet [Hebrew: Shofar] will be blown;
They will come, who are about to perish [Hebrew: "Ovdim" also translatable as "they who were being lost"] in the land of Assyria,
And they who are outcasts in the land of Egypt,
And shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

Psalms 81
http://britam.org/psalms/psalms81.html
TO THE CHIEF MUSICIAN, UPON GITHITH, A PSALM OF ASAPH.
S.R. Hirsch translates the Hebrew heading as meaning,
TO HIM WHO GRANTS VICTORY OVER THE WINE PRESSING: BY ASAPH
The Mairi says that it was traditional to say this Psalm on the Hebrew New Year (Rosh HaShana) which is approaching us soon... Even though the Israelites were delivered from Egypt in the month of Nisan at the time of Passover which is about seven months later, on Rosh HaShanah their actual physical servitude in Egypt itself came to an end. In principle, we can make a new beginning any moment we decide to do so but some seasons are more propitious than others. This is another chance we all have now to start over again. Let us do our best. Let us pray to the Almighty to enable us to do our best and better ourselves for our own sake and for the sake of all they who are in contact with us and whom we have some influence over.

Rosh HaShanah and the Bible
https://www.britam.org/Rosh2.html
We know that there is a commandment to count the first of Nissan (in Aviv i.e. Spring) as the First Month of the Year.
This is the month of Passover (Pesach) which begins on the 14th day of the month.
Exodus 12:
1 Now the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, 2 This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.
We are therefore commanded to count this month (Nissan) as thge first month of the year!
We find however that another beginning of the year is also mentioned... the Feast of Ingathering takes place at the end of the year (Exodus 23:14); and at the Tekufah i.e. seasonal change (Exodus 34:22)... Only the month of Tishrei, i.e. the seventh month, fits all of these criteria. The answer is Tishrei. Tishrei is the end of one year and the beginning of another...
