The Lost Ten Tribes separated from Judah and were exiled by the Assyrians. About 20 years later a portion of Judah was also exiled and joined the Ten Tribes. The Prophet Micah lived through these times. He describes what happened and prophesied what was yet to come. The Ten Tribes were to move to the West. The scientific writer and historian, Dr. Immanuel Velikovsky, claimed that the Times of Israelite Exile was one of Cosmic Upheaval, with comets crashing into the earth and the disturbed movements of planets influencing the earth. This could be significant.

The Jews had different DNA to that of Western Peoples. Could it be that Western Peoples are the True Israelites by ancestry whereas the Jews have a different origin?

The Bible testifies to Judah as the Jews. The Jews did not get lost. The Ten Tribes did.
If a people are not related to the Jews they are not Israelites.
DNA could change due to environment as a result of changes in radiation levels.
There is evidence indicating that such was the case from studies in Scandinavia.

Isaiah 49:21 speaks of the Jewish reaction when the Lost Tribes will return.
Many Jews will be astounded and even perhaps slightly resentful since they will feel that Joseph at times of trouble could have been more positive.
ISAIAH AND THE RETURN OF THE LOST TEN TRIBES
The Lost Ten Tribes will return. The Jews of Judah will meet the return of the Lost Ten Tribes with mixed reactions:
"THEN SHALT THOU SAY IN THINE HEART, WHO HATH BEGOTTEN ME THESE, SEEING I HAVE LOST MY CHILDREN, AND AM DESOLATE, A CAPTIVE, AND REMOVING TO AND FRO? AND WHO HATH BROUGHT UP THESE? BEHOLD, I WAS LEFT ALONE; THESE, WHERE HAD THEY BEEN?" [Isaiah 49:21].
In other words, the Jews will ask where were all those now identified as Israel when the Jews needed help and were alone?
According to the Midrash (Pesikta Rabati 32;10) this reaction of the Jews will take place WHEN THEY SEE THE EXILES OF THE LOST TEN TRIBES RETURNING!
