Coming Home to Lebanon.

All the world sometimes seems to be against Israel, especially the Third World Countries.
The Arabs of Palestine and Gaza attack Jews. So does the Shiite Hizbollah in Lebanon.
From 50,000 to 70, 000 Jews have been evacuated from Northern Israel for almost a year now because the Arabs in Lebanon are firing rockets at them.
What other nation would tolerate this?
There are however many descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel among Western Nations especially in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, England, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland.

Among these peoples are many who are anti-Jewish, or neutral as far as the Jews are concerned. Some are against the State of Israel because it is fashionable to be that way. Others think Israel is too aggressive even though Israel is only defending itself and actually has to tolerate more abuse than is reasonable, more than most others would. Nevertheless there are also many who support Israel. That is where most supporters of Israel are to be found. When and if people from these areas have it clarified to them that they are of Israelite descent many among them would want to come to Israel or to a nearby asrea attached to Israel.

At all events,

The enemies of Israel should be beaten down and driven out.
What comes around goes around.
At present Israel is in conflict both in Gaza and at Lebanon. The southern part of Lebanon up to the Litanni River, now dominated by the Hizbollah, was actually once proposed to become part of the future State of Israel. The waters of the Litanni River could be used for irrigation purposes. At present they flow into the sea and are not utilized. This area should be incorpoarated by the State of Israel or resettled by descendants of the Ten Tribes.

Zechariah (TCT Tanakh - Chabad) 10:
7 AND EPHRAIM SHALL BE LIKE A MIGHTY MAN, AND THEIR HEART SHALL REJOICE AS IF [WITH] WINE. AND THEIR CHILDREN SHALL SEE AND REJOICE; THEIR HEART SHALL BE JOYFUL WITH THE LORD.

8 I WILL WHISTLE TO THEM, AND I WILL GATHER THEM, FOR I HAVE REDEEMED THEM. AND THEY SHALL MULTIPLY AS THEY MULTIPLIED.

Meanwhile the Arabs are threatening the State of Israel. They are backed by Iran and by Turkey and other Islamic States such as Yemen, Pakistan, and Algeria.
The Arabs keep coming back. They attack Israel and get get knocked down, go back, are helped by the rest of the world and then as soon as they can attacked Israel once more. They do this over and over gain. At present Israel has a strong Armed Forces, a relatively strong government, and a strong people. The potential for a momentary lapse of weakness is always there. Something like this happened on 7 October 2023. On that day about 2000 trained Hamas mercenaries followed by around 1,500 civilian "volunteers" broke through the borderline fence and attacked Israeli settlements and military bases. They took hostages, set fire to homes, raped women, in some cases killed and tortured men, women, and children, and babies. They filmed themselves doing this. The footage is probably still available on the open as well as on the "darker" web. This was part of their psychological warfare. Israel was relatively slow to react. Israel however did reply and so far has succeeded in restoring the initiative. The Almighty helped us.

Nevertheless, it only needs Israel to fail just once, to loose a war just once for it all to end. The Arabs can keep tying and losing time and time again until. God forbid, they get "lucky." The only long-term solution is to beat them all well, move them out, and put others in their place.
Rains are now (September 2024) falling in the Sahara Desert. It may be turning green. Perhaps a permanent climate change is taking palce? Maybe we could send all the Palestinians and all their friends over there?

Maybe they could go to South America? or Africa?

With Iranian support, however, Hezbollah created a shadow economy almost entirely separate from this wider collapse. It could escape the energy shortages, while creating its own banks, supermarkets and electricity network. Hezbollah isn't just a terrorist group. It is a state within a state, complete with a far more advanced army. 'They may have plunged Lebanon into complete chaos, but they themselves are not chaotic at all.' ...

Then came 7 October, after which Hezbollah tied its fate to that of the Palestinians, promising to bombard Israel with rockets until the war in Gaza was brought to a close. We have witnessed the frightening scale of its power over the past year, its bombardment forcing some 100,000 Israelis from their homes in Galilee to the safety of the Israeli heartlands around Tel Aviv. For the first time since modern Israel's creation, the land where Jews are able to live in their own state has shrunk; the rockets are a daily reminder of the country's extraordinary vulnerability, threatened on all sides by states who actively want it removed from the map, even from history itself. The pretence that the Palestinian and Lebanese questions could be contained, ignored or bypassed as part of a wider grand strategy to contain Iran has been shattered.

Israel, of course, has not let Hezbollah's missile attacks go unpunished, replying with raids on Southern Lebanon which have forced 100,000 to flee their homes for the apparent safety of Beirut and its surroundings. But as Israel escalates the war, the Lebanese population, already impoverished and abandoned, are having to flee again. This fight to the death leaves the 5 million people of Lebanon with nowhere to go, trapped on all sides by anarchy and war. The only escape is by sea, which is controlled by the West.

Any worries that Western forces are once again being 'drawn in' are moot' we are already involved. In the days following 7 October, Washington redeployed an aircraft carrier into the Mediterranean to cover Israel's northern flank which would allow Netenyahu to wage his war in Gaza. Since then, Iran itself has launched a direct rocket attack at Israel, prompting an armada of Western forces to intervene. And in the event of a humanitarian disaster, prompted by an Israeli ground invasion of southern Lebanon, it would fall to Britain, France and the United States to organise the mass evacuation of Lebanese civilians that would be required to avoid a humanitarian catastrophe.
... Because Lebanon borders Syria to its north and east and Israel to its south, the only option for a mass evacuation would be by sea. And the only powers capable of delivering such a mission are the United States, France and Britain, each of whom is currently distracted by its own domestic political dramas. And in each case, the rise of the nationalist Right makes any mass refugee scheme a political nightmare.

The optimuum siolution in an imaginary world (that may yet come to pass) would propose.

The Israelite Origin of many people in the west should be proved to them. This has already been done but it could be intensified, propagated, internalized, become part of KNOWN INFORMATION. The Biblical, Rabbinical, and much of the Historical bases are already there. They could be improved upon. Conventional DNA findings do not confirm this BUT other science does. In the past racial connections were indicated by physical similarities such as head shapes, etc, or by blood groups. These are transmitted both by heredity AND BY environment and cataclysmic changes. DNA is the same. With some effort this could be conceivably by proven. It may be said that what we claim is like firing an arrow into the trunk of a tree and then drawing a target around where the arrows lands. May be. A lot of scientific breakthroughs are like that at first.

Once the Israelite ancestry of many peoples in the west today is made known to them many of them might want to come here. They could be resettled in parts of Lebanon, Syria, it was propesied this would take palace.

The Lost Ten Tribes should help Israel.
They should also come and settle alongside the Jews in Israel.
Due to religious and other matters they need not settle in the State of Israel itself.
They may however take over the Lands of our enemies around us.
These areas were promised to the Peoples of Israel.

22 FOR IF YOU KEEP ALL THESE COMMANDMENTS WHICH I COMMAND YOU TO DO THEM, TO LOVE THE LORD, YOUR GOD, TO WALK IN ALL HIS WAYS, AND TO CLEAVE TO HIM,
23 THEN THE LORD WILL DRIVE OUT ALL THESE NATIONS FROM BEFORE YOU, AND YOU WILL POSSESS NATIONS GREATER AND STRONGER THAN YOU.
24 EVERY PLACE UPON WHICH THE SOLES OF YOUR FEET WILL TREAD, WILL BE YOURS: FROM THE DESERT AND THE LEBANON, FROM THE RIVER, THE EUPHRATES RIVER, AND UNTIL THE WESTERN SEA, WILL BE YOUR BOUNDARY.

Not only were all the Lands from the Nile to the Euphrates promised to Israelites but also in the past they did possess them, at least in part.

The Israelites Tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Manasseh inherited substantial areas east of the Jordan. In addition to that the Land seems to have been later re-divided (cf. Elyahu of Vilna) and other Tribes also took parts of it. Judah, Dan, Benjamin, Simeon, Yehudah, and possibly others all took portions of it at some stage or other. The region east of the Jordan was an immense area reaching eastwards and northwards up to the Euphrates. In Principle the Tribes of Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh received their territories east of the Jordan.
Originally the area was good pasture land though today much of it is desert.

Numbers (NASB) 32:
1 NOW THE SONS OF REUBEN AND THE SONS OF GAD HAD A VERY LARGE NUMBER OF LIVESTOCK. SO WHEN THEY SAW THE LAND OF JAZER AND THE LAND OF GILEAD, THAT IT WAS INDEED A PLACE SUITABLE FOR LIVESTOCK, 2 THE SONS OF GAD AND THE SONS OF REUBEN CAME AND SPOKE TO MOSES, ELEAZAR THE PRIEST, AND TO THE LEADERS OF THE CONGREGATION, SAYING, 3 ATAROTH, DIBON, JAZER, NIMRAH, HESHBON, ELEALEH, SEBAM, NEBO, AND BEON, 4 THE LAND WHICH THE LORD CONQUERED BEFORE THE CONGREGATION OF ISRAEL, IS A LAND FOR LIVESTOCK, AND YOUR SERVANTS HAVE LIVESTOCK. 5 AND THEY SAID, IF WE HAVE FOUND FAVOR IN YOUR SIGHT, LET THIS LAND BE GIVEN TO YOUR SERVANTS AS OUR PROPERTY; DO NOT TAKE US ACROSS THE JORDAN.

Concerning the Tribes of Reuben, Gad, and hafl-Manassseh we hear that:

NUMBERS 32:
33 SO MOSES GAVE TO THEM, TO THE SONS OF GAD, THE SONS OF REUBEN, AND TO THE HALF-TRIBE OF JOSEPH'S SON MANASSEH, THE KINGDOM OF SIHON, KING OF THE AMORITES AND THE KINGDOM OF OG, THE KING OF BASHAN, THE LAND WITH ITS CITIES WITH THEIR TERRITORIES, THE CITIES OF THE SURROUNDING LAND. 34 AND THE SONS OF GAD BUILT DIBON, ATAROTH, AROER, 35 ATROTH-SHOPHAN, JAZER, JOGBEHAH, 36 BETH-NIMRAH, AND BETH-JARAN AS FORTIFIED CITIES, AND SHEEPFOLDS FOR SHEEP. 37 THE SONS OF REUBEN BUILT HESHBON, ELEALEH, KIRIATHAIM, 38 NEBO, AND BAAL-MEON, THEIR NAMES BEING CHANGED, AND SIBMAH, AND THEY GAVE OTHER NAMES TO THE CITIES WHICH THEY BUILT. 39 THE SONS OF MACHIR THE SON OF MANASSEH WENT TO GILEAD AND TOOK IT, AND DISPOSSESSED THE AMORITES WHO WERE IN IT. 40 SO MOSES GAVE GILEAD TO MACHIR THE SON OF MANASSEH, AND HE LIVED IN IT. 41 JAIR [YAIR] THE SON OF MANASSEH WENT AND TOOK ITS TOWNS, AND CALLED THEM HAVVOTH-JAIR. 42 NOBAH WENT AND TOOK KENATH AND ITS VILLAGES, AND NAMED IT NOBAH, AFTER HIS OWN NAME.

We later hear about Dan seeking new lands to settle in.

Joshua (KJV) 19:
47 AND THE COAST OF THE CHILDREN OF DAN WENT OUT TOO LITTLE FOR THEM: THEREFORE THE CHILDREN OF DAN WENT UP TO FIGHT AGAINST LESHEM, AND TOOK IT, AND SMOTE IT WITH THE EDGE OF THE SWORD, AND POSSESSED IT, AND DWELT THEREIN, AND CALLED LESHEM, DAN, AFTER THE NAME OF DAN THEIR FATHER.

This evidently refers to the settlement of Dan in the Galilee.
A similar event is related in the Book of Judges.

Judges 18:
27 THEN THEY TOOK WHAT MICAH HAD MADE AND THE PRIEST WHO HAD BELONGED TO HIM, AND CAME TO LAISH, TO A PEOPLE QUIET AND UNSUSPECTING, AND STRUCK THEM WITH THE EDGE OF THE SWORD; AND THEY BURNED THE CITY WITH FIRE. 28 AND THERE WAS NO ONE TO SAVE THEM, BECAUSE IT WAS FAR FROM SIDON AND THEY HAD NO DEALINGS WITH ANYONE, AND IT WAS IN THE VALLEY WHICH IS NEAR BETH-REHOB. SO THEY REBUILT THE CITY AND LIVED IN IT. 29 AND THEY NAMED THE CITY DAN, AFTER THE NAME OF DAN THEIR FATHER WHO WAS BORN TO ISRAEL; HOWEVER, THE NAME OF THE CITY WAS PREVIOUSLY LAISH.

It is commonly assumed that the two accounts about Dan are describing the same event. They are not. Judges 18 is referring to a settlement of Danites in the region of Luash North of the Orontes in Northern Syria and southeast Turkey. These were the Dananu and their Kingdom of Smal. They also conquered Cyprus which was named "Ydnna" (Isle of Dan) in their honor. Moses had blessed Dan: DAN IS A LION'S WHELP, HE SHALL LEAP FROM BASHAN (Deuteronomy 33:22). The area of Luash (Laish) was part of Bashan.

Near Luash was the entity of Yadi (also called Yaudi) which was an enclave of Judaeans adjoining the Dananu of Smal. Yadi and Smal were usually ruled by the same monarch. They were in the general region of Hamath and are referred to in the Bible as 'HAMATH, WHICH HAD BELONGED TO JUDAH' (2-Kings 14:28). They were referred to by the Assyrians as 'Yadi' which is the same name they gave to Yehudah in the south.

Yadi may be associated with an offshoot of Yair ("Jair") in the Bashan (Deuteronomy 3:14). Yair was connected both with Manasseh (Numbers 32:41) and with Judah and the Chelubie of Judah (1-Chronicles 2:22) . The Chelubie are recalled in Chalybonitis which was to the Northwest of Bathanae (Bashan) on Ptolemy's Map of Arabia. The people of Yair were mentioned in Assyrian inscriptions as the IARI in the region of Chalybonitis and the surrounding region (including at times in Gauzanitis east of the Euphrates, and elsewhere) raiding and waging wars on both sides of the Euphrates River. The Israeli archaeologist, Benjamin MAZAR, identified the Iari of Mesopotamian records with descendants of Yair of Israel. Yadi was settled by the IARI of Judah and these were often associated with their neighbors, the Dananu i.e. Danites from Dan. The name Yair is often transliterated as "Jair" (Deuteronomy 3:14). The Iari were later also found in Ireland and Scotland.
The Kingdom of the Dananu was named Smal which others (e.g. Ed. Meier) have already remarked connoted "Left-hand" i.e. North. Nearby there was a people known as "Tsafoni" which also means "North" and there was a Clan of the Tribe of Gad of that name ("Zephon" in Numbers 26:17).

Later, groups of Simeon also settled in the area. Originally Simeon had received its area south of Judah but in the time of King Hezekiah and afterwards they spread out.

1-Chronicles 4:
39 THEY WENT TO THE ENTRANCE OF GEDOR, AS FAR AS THE EAST SIDE OF THE VALLEY, TO SEEK PASTURE FOR THEIR FLOCKS. 40 THEY FOUND PASTURE THAT WAS RICH AND GOOD, AND THE LAND WAS SPREAD OUT ON BOTH SIDES, AND PEACEFUL AND UNDISTURBED; FOR THOSE WHO LIVED THERE PREVIOUSLY WERE HAMITES. 41 THESE PEOPLE, RECORDED BY NAME, CAME IN THE DAYS OF HEZEKIAH KING OF JUDAH, AND THEY ATTACKED THEIR TENTS AND THE MEUNITES WHO WERE FOUND THERE, AND UTTERLY DESTROYED THEM TO THIS DAY; AND THEY LIVED IN THEIR PLACE, BECAUSE THERE WAS PASTURE THERE FOR THEIR FLOCKS. 42 FROM THEM, FROM THE SONS OF SIMEON, FIVE HUNDRED MEN WENT TO MOUNT SEIR, WITH PELATIAH, NEARIAH, REPHAIAH, AND UZZIEL, THE SONS OF ISHI, AS THEIR LEADERS. 43 THEY DESTROYED THE REMNANT OF THE AMALEKITES WHO ESCAPED, AND THEY HAVE LIVED THERE TO THIS DAY.

This passage describes at least two movements: One was to Gedor which may have been east of the Jordan. The other was to Mount Seir. It was led by "Pelatiah, Neariah, Rephaiah, and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi."
According to the Talmud (Baba Batra 123;b) "the sons of Ishi" were descended from Ishi who is listed later among the Princes of half-Manasseh (1-Chronicles 5:23-26) east of the Jordan who were taken into Exile by the Assyrians. The sons of Ishi apparently left their own Tribes and joined a group from Simeon. They were accepted by the Simeonites as their leaders. This group from Simeon led by the sons of Ishi went northward to resettle. Traditions (recorded by Eldad Ha-Dani ca. 850 CE) linked this migration of part of Simeon led by Manasseh to the foundation of the Khazar nation.
The Biblical passage says they went to Mount Seir which is conventionally considered to have been west of the Jordan River to the southeast of Judah in the Land of Edom. Nevertheless, there was another area in the far north in the region of Armenia which was also the domain of Edom and of Amalekites (see YOSIPHON). Here too there was a region known as "Seir." ELDAD HA-DANI (880 CE) and others related that the Khazars were descended from the Tribe of Simeon and the half-Tribe of Manasseh. Eldad traced the Khazars to 1-Chronicles 4:42-43 that spoke of the 500 men from Simeon and Manasseh. BASCHMAKOFF opined that all early references to the Khazars show them to have emerged from Sacasene which was a Sacae-Scythian area to the north of what was then termed Armenia (Baschmakoff, Alexandre, Cinquante Siecles d'Evolution Ethnique Autour de la Mer Noire, ch. 6, L'Origine Reelle des Khazares, Etudes d'Ethnographie de Sociologie et d'Ethnologie, vol.1, Paris 1937).

In the Geography of Ptolemy: The clan of Yacin (Icen) from Simeon is recalled in IUCA in the south-east near the Persian Gulf. West of Iuca is Bera and Beria is a clan name among the Tribes of Benjamin, Ephraim, and Asher. Nearby we find the RAHABENI which is a form of REUBEN cf.

1-CHRONICLES 5:
1 NOW THE SONS OF REUBEN....
9 TOWARD THE EAST HE SETTLED AS FAR AS THE ENTRANCE OF THE WILDERNESS FROM THE RIVER EUPHRATES, BECAUSE THEIR LIVESTOCK HAD INCREASED IN THE LAND OF GILEAD.

To their north were the Masani whose name derives from Manasseh and the inversion of syllables ("Mas-ani" for "Man-aseh") is a common phenomenon. Further north, the BALAGAEA and BELGINAEA co-relate to the name BELAH (pronounceable as "Bela-g-h") which was a clan name from the Tribe of Benjamin.

In addition to the above, the Tribe of Benjamin had been partially replenished (after a disastrous war) by taking women from Jabesh-Gilead east of the Jordan (Judges 21:14). It has been suggested that the later resettlement of Jabesh-Gilead included settlers from Benjamin.

In the future all the Israelites tribes will inherit areas in this region.

Ezekiel ch. 48, describes the area being divided up among the Tribes from the south to the north beyond the Euphrates.
