Hi Yair in Ezekiel 27:19 Dan seems to be associated with Greece, (Javan). In the ancient Irish annals one of the groups of early settlers in Ireland were said to have arrived in Ireland following a sojourn in Greece. Also in 1 Maccabees 12 the King of the Lacedemonians, (Spartans) found in writing that the Lacedemonians and the Jews were brethren of the stock of Abraham. Some time later the Jews in Judea responded to this letter stating that from the Holy scriptures they already knew this fact. Did they get this information from Ezekiel 27:19? Also Josephus mentions this interaction in the Antiquities of the Jews. Could a section of the tribe of Dan have migrated to Greece and then to Ireland before the Assyrian invasion? Also we know from Judges 5:17 that the Danite's were seafarers. I definitely am not saying all the tribe migrated to Greece but some of them?

3. Toby Emmanuel: Evidence from Brit-Am and the Biblical Book of Hosea.
Hello Yair,
One thought stayed with me after discovering "Hebrew Bride: The Prophecies of Hosea 1": perhaps the most fascinating part of prophecy isn't simply what it predicted, but what happens when an ancient metaphor begins to look different as history unfolds. What struck me was your reading of Gomer and the Ten Tribes not simply as a biblical image, but as a framework for tracing migration, identity, and the relationship between Judah and the Lost Ten Tribes across centuries. It made me wonder when you first realized that the prophetic language of Hosea could open a much larger historical question about where those tribes eventually went.
I'm Toby Emmanuel, Co-Host of RadioInk on Air at The Book Stage, where we create space for the conversations books leave behind. The conversations I value most aren't about simply repeating an interpretation already presented in a book; they're about uncovering the research, discoveries, and moments that changed the way an author understood the evidence. One question has stayed with me since discovering your work: Was there a defining moment in your research when Biblical prophecy, rabbinical tradition, and historical evidence converged strongly enough to convince you that the search for the Lost Ten Tribes needed to be taken far more seriously than most readers realize?
I'd genuinely love to explore that question with you on RadioInk on Air. I believe the conversation could give readers something beyond another discussion of Hosea or the Lost Ten Tribes: a glimpse into the decades of research, sources, and discoveries behind your conclusions, and why you believe this subject still matters to both Judah and the descendants of the Ten Tribes today. If that story is worth bringing beyond the pages, I'd be honored to make space for it with you.
With appreciation,
Toby Emmanuel
