Leviticus 26:16  I ALSO WILL DO THIS UNTO YOU; I WILL EVEN APPOINT OVER YOU TERROR, CONSUMPTION, AND THE BURNING AGUE, THAT SHALL CONSUME THE EYES, AND CAUSE SORROW OF HEART: AND YE SHALL SOW YOUR SEED IN VAIN, FOR YOUR ENEMIES SHALL EAT IT

TB (consumption) used to affect many people in Ireland along with the burning ague (fevers originating in swamplands and carried by mosquito populations). We sowed our seed in vain during Cromwell's invasion and Plantations as we were driven from our lands and our land given to British soldiers or settlers.

LEVITICUS 26:17 AND I WILL SET MY FACE AGAINST YOU, AND YE SHALL BE SLAIN BEFORE YOUR ENEMIES: THEY THAT HATE YOU SHALL REIGN OVER YOU; AND YE SHALL FLEE WHEN NONE PURSUETH YOU.

We were routed by the English in the battle of Kinsale 1601 which effectively brought all Ireland under English control. The English hated the Irish, they viewed them as Barbaric and uncivilised. They also hated the fact that the Irish were Catholic which they viewed as a superstitious religion.

Leviticus 26:19 AND I WILL BREAK THE PRIDE OF YOUR POWER; AND I WILL MAKE YOUR HEAVEN AS IRON, AND YOUR EARTH AS BRASS.

The year of slaughter from 1740 - 1741 brought very harsh weather to Ireland. Extreme cold, drought and storms.

Leviticus 26:20 AND YOUR STRENGTH SHALL BE SPENT IN VAIN: FOR YOUR LAND SHALL NOT YIELD HER INCREASE, NEITHER SHALL THE TREES OF THE LAND YIELD THEIR FRUITS.

As a result of the harsh conditions from 1740 to 1741 many crops died due to the extreme cold followed by a drought.
Leviticus 26:22 I WILL ALSO SEND WILD BEASTS AMONG YOU, WHICH SHALL ROB YOU OF YOUR CHILDREN, AND DESTROY YOUR CATTLE, AND MAKE YOU FEW IN NUMBER; AND YOUR HIGH WAYS SHALL BE DESOLATE.

Wild beasts such as wolves which used to roam in Ireland often killed young children and livestock.

Leviticus 26:25  AND I WILL BRING A SWORD UPON YOU, THAT SHALL AVENGE THE QUARREL OF MY COVENANT: AND WHEN YE ARE GATHERED TOGETHER WITHIN YOUR CITIES, I WILL SEND THE PESTILENCE AMONG YOU; AND YE SHALL BE DELIVERED INTO THE HAND OF THE ENEMY.

During the scorched earth tactics during the Cromwell invasion (1649 - 1653)  famine and disease's (such as the plague) broke out in cities and these cities and towns such as Limerick, Clonmel, Waterford, Galway etc. were conquered by Cromwell and his army.

Leviticus 26:26 WHEN I HAVE BROKEN THE STAFF OF YOUR BREAD, TEN WOMEN SHALL BAKE YOUR BREAD IN ONE OVEN, AND THEY SHALL DELIVER YOU YOUR BREAD AGAIN BY WEIGHT: AND YE SHALL EAT, AND NOT BE SATISFIED.

This is probably fulfilled through the Great Irish Famine 1845-1852. Bread was baked by the poor using alternatives to wheat such as using cornmeal (maize) which would have been imported when potatoes and wheat were scarce the people would have eaten small amounts of this which would not have satisfied them as this would have been rationed due to the famine.

Leviticus 26:29 AND YE SHALL EAT THE FLESH OF YOUR SONS, AND THE FLESH OF YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL YE EAT.

Rare instances of cannibalism have been recorded to have occurred in Ireland such as during the 9 years war (1594 - 1603) and also during the Great Famine (1845 - 1852).

Leviticus 26:30 AND I WILL DESTROY YOUR HIGH PLACES, AND CUT DOWN YOUR IMAGES, AND CAST YOUR CARCASES UPON THE CARCASES OF YOUR IDOLS, AND MY SOUL SHALL ABHOR YOU.

During the Cromwell invasion people who tried to take sanctuary in Catholic Churches were killed as the church buildings were often set on fire by the Cromwellian army such as St. Peter's Church in Drogheda. Also, Cromwell's army were very anti Catholic and systematically destroyed sacred trees, statues, holy wells,
shrines etc. during their campaign in Ireland.

Leviticus 26:32  AND I WILL BRING THE LAND INTO DESOLATION: AND YOUR ENEMIES WHICH DWELL THEREIN SHALL BE ASTONISHED AT IT. 

Ireland was devastated as a result of the famine from 1845 - 1852 with 1 million dying and between 1 and 2 million emigrating in those times. Our enemies dwelled in Ireland at that time usually the richer large landowning classes were British and British soldiers were stationed in Ireland at that time.

Leviticus 26:33 AND I WILL SCATTER YOU AMONG THE HEATHEN, AND WILL DRAW OUT A SWORD AFTER YOU: AND YOUR LAND SHALL BE DESOLATE, AND YOUR CITIES WASTE.

Irish emigrated in droves during the famine. Often anti-Catholic and anti-Irish riots broke out in foreign lands by the Orange Lodge etc. (such as Jubilee riots 1875).

Leviticus 26:37  AND THEY SHALL FALL ONE UPON ANOTHER, AS IT WERE BEFORE A SWORD, WHEN NONE PURSUETH: AND YE SHALL HAVE NO POWER TO STAND BEFORE YOUR ENEMIES.

Irish in the diaspora were defeated by their enemies during 2 failed invasions of Canada and the Castle Hill rebellion in Australia which was brutally suppressed by the British.

Leviticus 26:39 AND THEY THAT ARE LEFT OF YOU SHALL PINE AWAY IN THEIR INIQUITY IN YOUR ENEMIES' LANDS; AND ALSO IN THE INIQUITIES OF THEIR FATHERS SHALL THEY PINE AWAY WITH THEM.
