The State of Israel is fighting for its life. Wicked people tried to destroy it. They are still trying out of sheer malice. One of the weapons against the Jews and Israel consists of anti-Jewish lies and calumnies. America is also a target The Bible speaks of this. Americva is a Lost Ten Trbies entity. it represesants the forces of Joseph in our time. Judah and Joseph and the other Tribes represent the People of Israel according to the Bible. wsho ever is agaisnt them is opposed to God Almighty.
1 YOU ARE THE LORD, MY GOD: I WILL EXALT YOU, I WILL PRAISE YOUR NAME, FOR YOU HAVE DEALT WONDROUSLY; COUNSELS FROM LONG AGO IN TRUE FAITH.
cf. KJV: "THY COUNSELS OF OLD ARE FAITHFULNESS AND TRUTH. "
2 FOR YOU MADE FROM A CITY A HEAP, A FORTIFIED CITY INTO A RUIN; A PALACE OF STRANGERS, BECAUSE OF THE CITY, IT SHALL NEVER BE REBUILT.
The city of the enemy is destroyed. It shall be no more.
3 THEREFORE, SHALL A STRONG PEOPLE HONOR YOU; A CITY OF TYRANNICAL NATIONS SHALL FEAR YOU.
Amos Chacham ("Sefer Yishayahu", Mosad HaRav Kook, 1984, Hebrew Langauge): The cities of the Gentiles who rule the world will accept YOU (the Almighty) AS THEIR DEITY . The fall of the great city will be publicized throughout all the earth. The awe of the Almighty GOD of Israel will spread throughout all the warrior nations.
4 FOR YOU WERE A FORTRESS FOR THE POOR, A FORTRESS FOR THE PAUPER IN TIME OF HIS DISTRESS, A SHELTER FROM POURING RAIN, A SHADE FROM HEAT, FOR THE SPIRIT OF THE TYRANTS IS LIKE A FLOOD AGAINST A WALL.
God is our refuge at all times. He is always there but we feel His Presence when we excpoereince our need of HIM and consciously receove HIS answer to us.
5 LIKE HEAT IN THE DRY SEASON, A MULTITUDE OF STRANGERS YOU SHALL HUMBLE; LIKE HEAT WITH A THICK CLOUD, SO SHALL THE DOWNFALL OF THE TYRANTS BE SUNG.
6 AND THE LORD OF HOSTS SHALL MAKE FOR ALL THE PEOPLES ON THIS MOUNT, A FEAST OF FAT THINGS, A FEAST OF DREGS; FAT THINGS FULL OF MARROW, DREGS WELL REFINED.
THIS MOUNT means the Temple Mountain in Jerusalem. All nations of the earth will acknowledge the God of Israel who will make HIS Presence felt in the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem.
7 AND HE SHALL DESTROY ON THIS MOUNTAIN THE FACE OF THE COVERING THAT COVERS ALL THE PEOPLES AND THE KINGDOM THAT RULES OVER ALL THE NATIONS.
People will be aware of God.
THE COVERING THAT COVERS ALL THE PEOPLES. According to one commentary this means anti-Semitism. Most peoples today are distinctly anti-semitic. They hate the Jews no matter what the Jews do. Out of about 1300 UN declarations up to now around 800 were against the Jewish State of Israel. Today it is no longer respectable to hate the Jews for 'racial' or religious reasons so other reasons are found.
Most peoples today are also against the descendants of the Ten Lost Israelite Tribes. The US is hated by a large portion of the earth even though the US did more good for the world than most nations put together.
ND THE KINGDOM THAT RULES OVER ALL THE NATIONS.
The KJV renders this,
AND THE VAIL THAT IS SPREAD OVER ALL NATIONS.
This is more correct. The people of the earth are misled. They have learnt to hate and to calumniate the Chosen People of Israel, i.e. Judah and the LTTs.
8 HE HAS CONCEALED DEATH FOREVER, AND THE LORD GOD SHALL WIPE THE TEARS OFF EVERY FACE, AND THE SHAME OF HIS PEOPLE HE SHALL REMOVE FROM UPON THE ENTIRE EARTH, FOR THE LORD HAS SPOKEN.
The Jews will no longer have to be ashamed of their very existence and of their belief in the Truth. The Almighty will exonerate them from all blame.
9 AND THEY SHALL SAY ON THAT DAY, "BEHOLD, THIS IS OUR GOD: WE HOPED FOR HIM THAT HE WOULD SAVE US; THIS IS THE LORD FOR WHOM WE HOPED; LET US REJOICE AND BE HAPPY WITH HIS SALVATION.
God will be close to us. We will experience Him.
10 FOR THE HAND OF THE LORD SHALL REST ON THIS MOUNT, AND MOAB SHALL BE TRAMPLED IN ITS PLACE AS THE STRAW IS TRAMPLED IN THE MIRE.
'MOAB' according to Commentary quoted by 'Me-Am Loaz' will be defeated and subjected and in the end its people will repent and be accepted as part of Israel. I do not know who Moab is today though we understand it may be one of the West European Peoples,
possibly Spain or Portugal.
11 AND HE SHALL SPREAD OUT HIS HANDS IN HIS MIDST AS THE SWIMMER SPREADS OUT [HIS HANDS] TO SWIM AND HE SHALL HUMBLE HIS HAUGHTINESS [TOGETHER] WITH THE CUNNING OF HIS HANDS.
This is referring to Moab.
12 AND THE FORTRESS OF THE STRENGTH OF YOUR WALLS HE HUMBLED. HE BROUGHT IT LOW; IT REACHED THE EARTH DOWN TO THE DUST.
Their defences will be destroyed.
Hatred of the Jews will cease. False allegations against Israel will be stopped.
The righteousness of the Jews and of the Israelite Nations will be acknowledged.
