The Descendants of Israel are Destined to Rule the World
Ancestors of Israel
God created Adam and Eve. From them came all humanity. The Deluge destroyed all of humanity apart from the offspring of Noah and his family. The three sons of Noah were Shem, Ham, and Japhet. The descendants of Noah number 70. They are listed in Genesis chapter 10.
Abraham descended from Shem. Abraham begat Ishmael, Isaac, and the Children of Keturah. Isaac begat Esau and Jacob.
From Abraham there were 70 registered descendants. This number is obtained when we count the descendants of Ishmael, Esau, Keturah, and Israel. We include the Tribes of Israel and count them as 12. We thus have a parallelism of 70 nations derived from Shem, Ham, and Japhet; and 70 listed descendants of Abraham. Descendants of Keturah seem to have become distributed among both Edom and Ishmael.
The Vilna Gaon (1720 -1797), or the Genius from Vilna, i.e. Rabbi Eliyahu ben Shlomo Zalman Kremer said: Half of the 70 non-Israelite nations of the earth may be classifiable as Edomite and the other half as those of Ishmael.
This means that every nation to some degree or other in the cultural and sociological sense tends to one or other of the attitudes represented by Edom or by Ishmael and also may have physical input from either one of them. Rabbi Menachem Mendel Pomerantz explains that nations of the earth belong to either of the two types. This division existed even before the birth of Esau and Ishmael. They however came to epitomize and vitalize the types that they each belonged to. In a spiritual sense Esau and Ishmael became the life force of their own groupings. They may also have contributed elite physical elements of their own.
Abraham begat Isaac.
Isaac begat Esau and Jacob.
Esau was also known as Edom and as Seir or Mount Seir.
Jacob also became known as Israel. Israel had 12 sons who became the 12 Tribes of Israel.
The Tribal Clans of Israel number 70 (Genesis ch.46, Numbers ch.26). Each clan is parallel to a specific non-Israelite nation (Deuteronomy 32:8). The Tribal Clans of Israel therefore number 70 (Genesis ch.46, Numbers ch.26). These Israelite clans are parallel to the 70 Nations (Midrash Bamidbar Rabah 9:14),

Deuteronomy 32:
8 When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, When He separated the sons of man, He set the boundaries of the peoples According to the number of the sons of Israel.
The Bible tells us that Israelites are destined to rule the earth (Genesis 27: 29, 48:19, Numbers 24:8, Jeremiah 51:20, Micah 5:8, Psalms 47:1-4).
The 70 divisions of Israel will rule over the 70 nations of the world.
In the End Times the Israelites will rule over all mankind BUT before the End Times the Israelites will have struggled with Edom to control the world. The Israelites will have been divided between Judah and Joseph. Judah is represented by the Jews in our time. The task of the Jews is to learn and develop the Law and to begin the settlement of Israel. The mission of Joseph will have been to civilize the Gentile Nations and uplift them and also to assist Judah in re-settling the Promised Land. Judah will have been persecuted and oppressed by Edom (Psalms 137:7, Lamentations 4:22, Ezekiel 25:12).
In the Messianic Era the Israelites will defeat and rule over all the nations of the Earth and over Edom (Obadiah 1:8-9, 18, Ezekiel 25:12-14, Amos 9:12).
Midrash Rabah (Toldoth 66:4) 6
# Genesis 27: 29 Let peoples serve you, And nations bow down to you. Be lord over your brethren, And let your mother's sons bow down to you. Cursed be every one that curses you, And blessed be every one that blesses you.# Let peoples serve you: These are the seventy nations [of mankind].
'And nations bow down to you': These are the descendants of Ishmael and Keturah.# Be lord over your brethren: These are Esau and his Dukes. #
Genesis 27:
29 May peoples serve you, And nations bow down to you; Be master of your brothers, And may your mothers sons bow down to you. Cursed be those who curse you, And blessed be those who bless you.
Genesis 48: 19 But his father refused and said, I know, my son, I know; he also will become a people and he also will be great. However, his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations. [Hebrew "Malo ha-HoGoyim" i.e. "Rule the Nations" (Onkelos)].
Numbers 24:

Psalms 47:
1 O clap your hands, all peoples; Shout to God with the voice of joy. 2 For the LORD Most High is to be feared, A great King over all the earth. 3 He subdues peoples under us And nations under our feet. 4 He chooses our inheritance for us, The glory of Jacob whom He loves.
Jeremiah 51:
20 He says, You are My war-club, My weapon of war; And with you I shatter nations, And with you I destroy kingdoms.
