Answer:
yes
This has nothing to do with the survey but I found this curious It appears that Queen Victoria became a believer in British Israelism and it is said she had her male children circumcised. As a result it became popular in England for male children to be circumcised. During this time the British empire reached its apex. Come the 1900's circumcision slowly fell out of favor almost completely disappearing with universal health care shortly after world war two. The government health ministry would not cover the practice. By this time Britain had pretty much lost its empire. In the United States circumcision was available in hospitals in the 1920's becoming more popular after world war two, matching the rise of the United States as a world power. It reached its peak in the 1970 and has slowly been declining since, also matching the decline of the United States. Mothers are the ones that predominantly decided whether or not to have their male children circumcises,
Many didn't know why they did it, they say that it was something they thought should be done but couldn't give any compelling reason as to why.
We understand the birthright promises were given to Joseph, Ephraim getting his first and Manasseh secondly, it is interesting that circumcision seems to follow that pattern.
It looks like it was put into the hearts of mothers to embrace the practice while each country was receiving its birthright promise.
