Blessings

Introduction and Overview.

Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were the forefathers of the Hebrew Peoples.

Abraham was the first Patriarch and to him was it promised to become, "A GREAT NATION, AND IN YOU WILL ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH BE BLESSED" (Genesis 12:2-3). "AND I WILL MAKE MY COVENANT BETWEEN ME AND YOU, AND WILL MULTIPLY YOU EXCEEDINGLY" (Genesis 17:2). The Promised Blessings began with Abraham (Genesis 12:2-3). Isaac the son of Abraham received the blessings given to Abraham (Genesis 17:19, 21, 21:2).

Isaac begat the twins Esau and Jacob. Jacob was renamed Israel and received the Blessings (Genesis 27:40-41. 28:2-3). All the 12 sons of Israel received the Blessings (Genesis 49:28).
Among the Tribes Judah and Joseph had separate destinies but the blessing was to be more apparent in Joseph.
JUDAH PREVAILED ABOVE HIS BROTHERS, AND OF HIM (COMES) THE CHIEF RULER; BUT THE BIRTHRIGHT WAS JOSEPH'S" (1-Chronicles 5:1-2).
Joseph received a separate blessing even more stronger than that of the other Tribes:
"THE BLESSINGS OF YOUR FATHER HAVE PREVAILED ABOVE THE BLESSINGS OF MY PROGENITORS UNTO THE UTMOST BOUND OF THE EVERLASTING HILLS: THEY SHALL BE ON THE HEAD OF JOSEPH, AND ON THE CROWN OF HIM THAT WAS SEPARATED FROM HIS BRETHREN" (Genesis 49:6).
We have here an indication that Joseph beyond merely receiving an extra portion as if he were the firstborn also has an ADDITIONAL TASK AND MERIT. In his own way he will also represent all of Israel..
Scripture proves that the Lost Ten Tribes are NOW to be found among Western Peoples. This includes the English-speaking peoples. The descendants of Joseph are especially noticeable the English-speaking nations..
The exiled Israelites (including the descendants of Joseph) were to become one of the most numerous groups of people on earth (Genesis 15:5, 22:17, 24:60, 32:12, Numbers 23:10, Deuteronomy 1:11, Isaiah 10:22, 24:16, 26:15, Hosea 1:10); to be the most powerful (Genesis 27:9, Numbers 24:7, Michah 5:7-9), to be the richest, to possess the most mineral and agricultural resources (Genesis 27:28, 49:25, Deuteronomy 33:13-16, Hosea 2:8), to live in the best places (Isaiah 41:8-9), to be in islands (Isaiah 42:4, 49:1-6 Jeremiah 31:9-10), peninsulas (Jeremiah 31:8), and at continental extremities (Deuteronomy 33:13, Isaiah 24:16, 26:15, 41:8-9, 49:6), to be sea-farers (Isaiah 42:6), to gain control over strategic points regarding their potential adversaries (Genesis 22:16-17, 24:60), to be like a lion, and unicorn (Numbers 24:8-9) official symbol of Britain, and bald-headed eagle (Micah 1:16) official symbol of the USA. The Lost Ten Tribies were also to be largely unaware of their Israelite identity and to practice a non--Jewish religion (Hosea 2:8, 2:13, 2:16 11:12). Judah (i.e. the Jews) in the End Times would on the whole not know who the Lost Ten Tribes are (Isaiah 49:21). Scripture gives numerous identifying characteristics that taken as a whole can only fit THE one group of people that were to be found in Western Europe especially in Britain and its offshoots in North America, etc.

In addition to the Biblical Proofs (and we have many more like the above) the Jewish Sages and Great Rabbis throughout the Ages have also provided us with much evidence confirming the identification of Western Peoples with the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel, for example:

Our interpretations of Biblical verses as applying to the Lost Ten Tribes are often confirmed by Rabbinical Sources.
Rashi (1040-1105, commenting on Obadiah 1:20) says that the Lost Ten Tribes went to Tserefat meaning, he says, the Land called France.
Abarbanel (1437-1508) says that by Tserefat both France and England were intended.
Nachmanides (1194-1270) says "Tserefat" means lands of the far north and that is where he says the Ten Tribes went to.
The Hatam Sofer (1762-1839) said that in the End Times Britain and areas of Western Europe will become part of Israel.
Rabbi MANASSEH BEN ISRAEL (1604-1657) identified the Continent of America as the place where the Lost Ten Tribes will return from.
Rabbi Moshe David Valli (1697- 1776) says that the Tribes of Joseph (i.e. Ten Tribes) were to become lost and assimilated in order to reform the Gentile Peoples and uplift humanity from within.
Rabbi Samson Raphael HIRSCH (1808-1888) said that the name of Manasseh (son of Joseph) in Hebrew in effect connotes Responsible representation. This along with numerous other proofs strengthenis our identification of the USA as dominated by the Israelite Tribes of Joseph especially Manasseh.
