Biblical Geographical Evidence
The North-West
Isaiah 49:12 speaks of Israelites in the End Times returning from the north and west, i.e. from an area to the northwest of the Land of Israel. This can only be somewhere in Europe which is to the northwest of the Land of Israel. By Israelites Isaiah must mean either Jews or descendants of the Ten Tribes of Israel. Both the context and Rabbinical sources say that the Ten Tribes are intended.
Isaiah 49:12 Lo, these shall come from far away,
and lo, these from the north and from the west,
and these from the land of Sinim.
Eelsewhere we show that the Land Sinim refers to Australia and New Zealand. Other Biblical Passages place the Ten Tribes at the Ends of the Earth and in the Isles of the Sea.
Isaiah 49:9 according to the Rabbinical Sages (of the Talmud and Midrash) refers to the Lost Ten Tribes. From the context it is obvious that the whole section of Isaiah 49:8-12 is one whole and addressed to the same group. If Isaiah 49:9 is speaking to Ten Tribes so is Isaiah 49:12.
Isaiah 49:
8 Thus says the LORD:
In a time of favour I have answered you,
on a day of salvation I have helped you;
I have kept you and given you
as a covenant to the people [in Hebrew: Brit-Am]
to establish the land,
to apportion the desolate heritages;
9 saying to the prisoners, 'Come out',
to those who are in darkness, 'Show yourselves.'
They shall feed along the ways,
on all the bare heights shall be their pasture;
10 they shall not hunger or thirst,
neither scorching wind nor sun shall strike them down,
for he who has pity on them will lead them,
and by springs of water will guide them.
11 And I will turn all my mountains into a road,
and my highways shall be raised up.
12 Lo, these shall come from far away,
and lo, these from the north and from the west,
and these from the land of Sinim.
Northwest from the land of Israel
Isaiah Chapter 49:

The Isles are called upon to listen to God (49:1). Israel is the servant of God (49:3). Israel will raise up the Tribes of Jacob and restore the preserved of Israel, to be an enlightening influence on the Gentiles unto the geographical extremities of the earth (49:6). The Ten Tribes will be made into a Brit-Am or covenant of peoples. They will settle and civilize wasted heritages (49:8) and free the prisoners while converging together along their paths of migration (49:9).
The Talmud and Midrash (Numbers Rabah 1;6, Eichah Rabah 2;9, Jerusalemi Sanhedrin ch.17, L.6,29) apply Isaiah 49:9 to the Three separate places of Exile the Lost Ten Tribes are destined to be located in: beyond the Sambation River, one to Daphneh of Antiochia, and one to where the Clouds came down and covered them. These placements referred to areas in the Middle East whence the Lost Ten Tribes moved to the west as proven by historical and archeological findings.
Isaiah continues through 49:10, 11, and 12 where he refers to the israelites returning from the north and west and from the Land of Sinim meaning Australia and New Zealand. The whole section is one flowing continuity. Isaiah is refering to the Lost Ten Tribes. They will return from the north and west of the Land of Israel meaning western Europe, the British Isles, and North America.
We are concerned with Isaiah 49:12.
"BEHOLD, THESE SHALL COME FROM FAR: AND, LO, THESE FROM THE NORTH AND FROM THE WEST; AND THESE FROM THE LAND OF SINIM".
