Israel's Foreign Legion

Yair Davidiy is active on the Internet to some degree, possibly too much.
I have no interest in being more involved than I am. I have other concerns.
Nevertheless I take an interest.
It may be that the content I am exposed to is due to some algorithm or other.
The powers thst be (Google?) would therefore be sending in my feed programs similar to those I have already shown a predilection for.
My experience is therefore not necessarily typical.
Nevertheless it may be of some interest.

The State of Israel is under siege.
It is being accused of all kind of offences it is not guilty of.
Even if (God forbid) it had been culpable this would not justify the intense degree of hostility it is exposed to.
Other nations (Turkey, China, Sudan, etc) are far far more pernicious towards others than Israel ever could be.
The hostiliy towards the Jewish States emanates from anti-Semitism.

Prominent Defenders of Israel include Israeli PM Binyamin Netanyahu and other officials. These can be very good.
Israel has another layer of smaller-scale champions who are  very important.
They are worth noting. Many of these are non-Jews. This too is worth noting.
Here are some of them.

Victor Davis Hansen (b. 1953) appears almost daily often for short concise observations of great value.
Of Swedish and Welsh ancestry. Big on History and on historical parallels to the present.
Described as "an American classicist, military historian, and conservative political commentator  He is a commentator on modern and ancient warfare and contemporary politics for the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal,  the National Review  and the Washington Times.".
He is pro-Israel and strong on telling the truth.

Erin Molan (b. 1983) a former Australian TV presenter and columnist. Erin became known for her pro-Israel stance after the October 7th War. (2o23) Erin Molan is a Roman Catholic, emotional and effective.

Emily Schrader (b. 1991) of mixed Christian and Jewish background, identifies as Jewish, technically may not be so. Lives in Israel.
A journalist, human rights activist, and campaigner against antisemitism. Very effective, reads from a well-prepared text.
Uses logic and fact. Tells the truth, defends Israel, seems to receives official Israeli backing.

Talia Yosef.
About 35 (?) years old though looks younger. Of Yemenite Jewish background. Worked in Real  Estate then after  the October 7th 2023 War became an advocate for Israel. Previously had left-of-center views then after the War became more right wing and very active in support of Israel.  Receives some private backing. Challenges individual Palestinians and Muslims chosen at random. Also discusses contemporary events. Very effective, courageous, uninhibited, quick, well informed, intelligent. Surprisingly well learned and always prepared. Welcomes confrontation. Makes a good impression and is very popular. Has an uninhibited use of language. A prolific output. A strong believer in the principles of  Judaism though perhaps somewhat liberal in other matters..

Mosab Hassan Yousef, "Son of Hamas".
Mosab Hassan Yousef is an author and former militant who defected to Israel in 1997, thereafter working as an Israeli spy for the Shin Bet until he moved to the United States in 2007. His father is Hassan Yousef, a co-founder of the Palestinian Islamist organisation Hamas. 
Yousef's co-authored autobiography, "Son of Hamas: A Gripping Account of Terror, Betrayal, Political Intrigue, and Unthinkable Choices", written with the assistance of Ron Brackin, was published in March 2010. "Son of Hamas" was on The New York Times Best Seller list for two weeks in March 2010.
Speaks often and well and with vigor and passion on behalf of Israel. Appears to believe in Judaism.

Douglas Murray
 (b. 1979) author, journalist and commentator. Murray is a critic of immigration into Europe and of Islam. He became better known internationally due to his advocacy for Israel after the October 7 attacks in 2023 Murray was born in Hammersmith, London, to an English school teacher mother and a Scottish, Gaelic-speaking father.  Claims to be a homosexual but is against homosexuality. Murray's book "On Democracies and Death Cults: Israel, Hamas and the Future of the West" (2025) dissects the October 7 attacks and the West's response to Israel. This response, in his view, was distorted by global antisemitism.  Considered an anti-Muslim polemicist.

Brigitte Gabriel (b. 1964)
A Lebanese-American conservative activist, author and lecturer, and critic of Islam. She is the founder of ACT for America, an advocacy group that opposes Islamic extremism. She and her family in Lebanon were helped by Israel during the Muslim-Christian clashes in Lebanon. This led her to take a pro-Israel stance. She has been described as "America's most prominent anti-Muslim activist." Is quoted as saying "The difference, my friends, between Israel and the Arab world is the difference between civilization and barbarism." Speaks well, is personable, and invigorated. Has appeared less than usual as of late.

Jonathan Conricus (b. 1979)
Wikipedia tells us:
# Jonathan Conricus (Hebrew: ; born August 14, 1979) is a Swedish-Israeli spokesperson and media commentator. He was the international spokesperson of the Israel Defense Forces from 2017 to 2021 and again in 2023. Conricus is a senior fellow at the think tank Foundation for Defense of Democracies, based in Washington, DC, in the United States. He was an officer in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), in which he served for 24 years before returning to duty as a reservist in 2023.Conricus is the son of an Israeli Jewish mother and a Swedish father. He was born in Jerusalem, Israel, and raised in Malmo # and other places in Sweden.
Speaks well, and in lengthy detail.

Mansur Ashkar
Former Israeli Special Forces officer. From an illustrious Druze Family. Non-Jewish.
Grew up in Israel in the Galilee. Served in the IDF, spent time in Germany.
Speaks very well, knows much.

Oren Cahanovitc  is an Israeli tour guide, historian, author, and digital content creator. He is coupled with a non-Jewish German woman "Nora" and is somewhat critical of the Jewish Religion. Apart from that he is knowledgeable and an effective speaker on behalf of Israel. Right of Center.

Einat Wilf
Wilf married German journalist and television personality Richard Gutjahr in 2007. She gave birth to their son in 2010. Appears to receive some official Israeli backing. Is an effective speaker and makes some good points. Right of Center.

Who are we? Yair Davidiy.

The above selection of 11 may be taken as representatives of the Leading verbal Champtions of Israel. 7 out of the 11 are non-Jewish. Another 2 are Jewish but have non-Jewish spouses. That leaves only 2 who are Jewish and have wholly committed their future to Judaism. This gives an exagerrated skewed impression. In addition to the above, there are also Jewish activists of interest such as Sahar, and Ben Bankas, and others.
The picture given however does show that there is plenty of room for non-Jews and only-partly Jews to contribute to the cause of Jews and Judaism and the State of Israel and many are doing so, and doing it well.

11 were listed above. Yair Davidiy may perhaps be added to them making 12. Propagana in our time is a legitimate aspect of warefare. Israel is fighting for its survival. They who poarticipate in this Propaganda War are making their contribution to the fight for survival. Help us to contnue.

Just for the record, Yair Davidiy (b. 1950), was technically born Jewish, identifies as a Jew, has Jewish children, grandchikdren, and great grandchildren. Yair identifies as an Ultra-Orthodox Jew with Jewish-Nationalist views.
