1. Foreward.
The Peoples of Israel were divided into 2 sections Judah and the Lost Ten Tribes headed by Joseph.
Judah represents the Jews of Today whereas the LTTs (Lost Ten Tribes) are to be found among Western nations headed in principle by Joseph (Ephraim and Manasseh) . We identify Joseph with the English-speaking peoples. The ancestors of the English-speaking peoples and their kinfolk in Western Europe was from Tribes of Israel who separated from Judah, were exiled, lost awareness of their ancestry, and moved away.
Meanwhile Judah became the Jews.

2. Branches of Judah.
There are two main branches of the Jews, Sephardic Jews ,and Ashkenazim.
Ashkenazi Jews are descendants of Jews from European areas. Sephardic Jews originally were considered those from Spain and Mediterranean regions. Today the term "Sephardic" is used to encompass all non-Ashkenazi Jews including those of eastern areas.
DNA studies at present claim that Jewish DNA shows the Sephardic males to have mainly Near Eastern (Land of Israel area) origins whereas the females (mtDNA) are more of local Middle Eastern type. Female mtDNA however is less reliable.
The DNA of Ashkenazi males is said to reflect half Near Eastern origins and half local European especially that of Central and Eastern Europe. The mtDNA of Ashekenazi female Jews is also mainly European with an emphasis on Italy.
It may be however that both YDNA and mtDNA can change, That would answer more questions than it would open. What are they hiding from us?

Even if they were correct it would not matter.
The Bible is what determines who belongs to Judah and who does not.

4. The Jews will have kept the Law.
The Jews kept the Law as it had been prophesied that Judah would:
Psalms 60:9, 108:90; Genesis 49:10; Zechariah 8:23.

5. The Jews will have kept the Prophesied Fast Days.
The Jews keep the four fasts of mourning over the Destruction of the Second Temple as prophesied by Zechariah 8:19, i.e.
the fast of the fourth month, -17th Tammuz
the fast of the fifth, - 9th of Av
and the fast of the seventh, - 3rd of Tishrei (Gedaliah)
and the fast of the tenth, - 10th Tebeth (Tevet).

6. The Jews will be mistakenly known as "Israel."
Again concerning the End Times:
Isaiah predicted that the descendants of Judah would be known as Israel:
HEAR YE THIS, O HOUSE OF JACOB, WHICH ARE CALLED BY THE NAME OF ISRAEL, AND ARE COME FORTH OUT OF THE WATERS OF JUDAH (Isaiah 48:1).

7. Judah to Return Before the Other Tribes.
The Return of Judah to the Land was to precede that of the other Tribes (Micah 4:6 Hosea 6:11).
Micah 4:8 predicts that in the end times the beginning of the return "THE FIRST DOMINION" shall be "TO THE DAUGHTER OF JERUSALEM" meaning descendants of Judah. Judah will return before the other Tribes and prepare the way for them (cf. Hosea 6:10).
The Land of Greater Israel may be divided into different sections.
The main section requires a basic adherence tot he Laws of Moses and Israel.
The Jews accord with this whereas the Lost Ten Tribes do not and are not even (on the whole) aware of their Israelite Ancestry.

8. The Jews Still Identified as Judah.
The Jews would be identified as "Judah" (Genesis 49:10).
Judah was to be Exiled, Scattered, Persecuted, and Oppressed! The Jews would have suffered for being Jewish whereas the other tribes would not therefore the Jews at first would be loathe to recognize the Israelite Origins of the other Tribes (Isaiah 49:21).

Isaiah 27: 13 SO IT SHALL BE IN THAT DAY:
THE GREAT TRUMPET WILL BE BLOWN;
THEY WILL COME, WHO ARE ABOUT TO PERISH IN THE LAND OF ASSYRIA,
AND THEY WHO ARE OUTCASTS IN THE LAND OF EGYPT,
AND SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD IN THE HOLY MOUNT AT JERUSALEM.
Menesseh ben Israel (1604-1657):

HE (Isaiah the Prophet) CALLS THE ISRAELITES OUT-CASTS, BUT THE JEWS SCATTERED; AND THE REASON IS, BECAUSE THE TEN TRIBES ARE NOT ONLY FAR OFF FROM THE HOLY LAND, BUT ALSO THEY LIVE IN THE EXTREMITIES AND ENDS OF COUNTRIES; FROM WHENCE THE PROPHET CALLS THEM CAST OUT. BUT HE DOTH NOT SAY, THAT THE ISRAELITES ARE TO BE GATHERED FROM THE FOUR QUARTERS OF THE EARTH, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT SO DISPERSED THROUGH THE WORLD, AS THE TRIBE OF JUDAH IS, WHICH NOW HATH SYNAGOGUES, NOT ONLY IN THREE PARTS OF THE WORLD, BUT ALSO IN AMERICA.
At all events, the Bible addresses itself to Judah i.e. the Jews, and they are only ones referred to. The Bible addresses itself to the Jews of Judaism. The Bible says the Jews belong to the Land. The Jews want to live in the Land. The God of the Bible says they should do so.
The Lost Ten Tribes will also dwell in the Land though first they will need to renew the Covenant and Keep the Law. How this will come about will only be made known int he Times of the Messiah son of Joseph and/or the Massiah son of David who will follow after him.
