Along with the USA Scotland also represents Manasseh.

The Name "America" is derived from the name of Machir   (Numbers 27:1, "Ha-Machiri," Numbers 26:29) son of Manasseh.

1. Introduction. Ephraim and Manasseh in England and Scotland.
We identify the UK as populated largely by descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes.
The tribes of Joseph, Ephraim  and Manasseh, are especially important in the UK who gives expression to them.
Within England Ephraim is more dominant.
Within the UK, Scotland comprises elements of all of the Tribes (like other parts of Britain) but Manasseh is especially important along with minority elements from the Tribe of Asher and others.
Many of the descvendants of Manasseh in Scotland migrated to other areas. North America (the USA and Canada) now holds more descendants of Scotsmen than Scotland itself.
Those who remained may, or may not, pertain more to Ephraim.
Today the government of Scotland and Scottish public opinion appears to be virulently against the Jews and against the State of Israel.
Usually this would indicate the presence of non-Israelite stock. Nevertheless other indications show that at least some have Hebraic ancestry.
It may be that many of the original  Israelite Scots left the country, or that reprobate renegade elements have take over?
We will discuss this again.
Even so, Israelites were present in the area and assumedly many of their descendants still remain.
Perhaps the cumulative effect of pills, medicines, alcohol, and TV have caused more damage to the Scottish People than we normally would allow for?
Nevertheless, significant portion of the inhabitants of Scotland are (or were) descended from Israelites. Amongst other signs of their ancestry many of them traditionally refused to eat pork.

2. Divisions among the Scottish.

Scotti-Gaels.
One portion of the Scottish, the Scotti, were of Gaelic stock and related to the Milesians of Ireland. They Milesians had a tradition that they were of Israelite descent and/or members of the non-Israelite "Mixed Multitude" who joined the Israelites when they came out of Egypt.

Exodus 12:
38  A MIXED CROWD ("MULTITUDE") ALSO WENT UP WITH THEM, and livestock in great numbers, both flocks and herds."

The Picts.
The Picts in the north  are also important. They are similar to the Gaels of Ireland with an additional admixture of Agathyrsi being Scythian Khazars from south Eastern Europe.
See:
Hebrew Scotland - Picts
https://hebrewnations.com/articles/countries/picts.html

The Agathyrsi were Khazars and had their own traditions tracing them to Israel especially to the Tribes of Manasseh and Simeon.
Many of the Khazars later converted to Judaism and some of them are still present among the Jewish People.
Settlers from Scandinavia such as the Vikings also contributed to the ethnic mix settling among Highland clans and in the islands along the coast.

Lowlanders
The majority of Scottish People are the Lowlanders.
These are a mixture of 'Britons' similar to the northern Welsh, along with Angles like the descendants of Ephraim who settled in England, and still more Gaels like those of Ireland.

Lowlanders in Scotland were often very devout Presbyterians. In the USA many of their descendants became Fundamentalists.
At all events, believe and respect for the Bible was ingrained within them.

3. Descendants of Scotsmen in North America.
Descendants of Scotsmen in general became important in the USA.

"Many ancestors of the Scotch-Irish, as they are known in the United States, or Ulster-Scots, originated from the lowlands and borders region before migrating to the Ulster Plantation in the 17th century and later the American frontier, many prior to the American Revolution. "
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_Lowlands

35 out of 46 US Presidents have ancestral links to Scotland or Ulster-Scots heritage. Notable presidents with Scottish descent include George Washington, Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, and Bill Clinton. Prsident Donal Trump has a German father and a Scottish mother.

4. Scotland is Manasseh. The Unicorn.
The coat of arms of Scotland depicts two unicorns. One of these has been incorporated in to the Coat of arms of the United Kingdom

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_of_arms_of_the_United_Kingdom
Here the unicorn is on one side and a lion on the other.

There are two versions of the coat of arms. One is used in Scotland, and includes elements derived from the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Scotland, and the other is used elsewhere and includes elements derived from the coat of arms of the Kingdom of England. The shields of both versions of the Arms quarter the arms of the kingdoms of England and Scotland, which united to form the Kingdom of Great Britain in 1707, and the Kingdom of Ireland, which united with Great Britain to form the United Kingdom in 1801. The Irish quarter in the Scottish version was unaltered following the division of Ireland into Northern Ireland and the Irish Free State in 1922.  In the Sottish version there is a  a crowned red lion at the top holding a sword and sceptre representing the Honours of Scotland.  Above it is the Scots motto 'In defens', a contraction of the phrase 'In my defens God me defend'.  The grassy mound beneath the shield contains only thistles; on it is a second motto, that of the Order of the Thistle: Nemo me impune lacessit (no one will attack me with impunity).

The Thistle (i.e. nettle) is associated with the destruction of Moab and Ammon  (east of the Jordan) and their future possession by Israel.

Zephaniah (TCT) 2:
9 THEREFORE, AS I LIVE-SAYS THE LORD OF HOSTS, THE GOD OF ISRAEL - FOR MOAB SHALL BE LIKE SODOM, AND THE CHILDREN OF AMMON LIKE GEMORRAH; A RATTLING OF NETTLES, AND A SALT MINE, AND DESOLATION FOREVER. THE REMNANT OF MY PEOPLE SHALL PLUNDER THEM, AND THE REMNANT OF MY NATION SHALL INHERIT THEM.

The Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle is an order of chivalry associated with Scotland. The current version of the order was founded in 1687 by King James VII of Scotland, who asserted that he was reviving an earlier order. The order consists of the sovereign and sixteen knights and ladies, as well as certain "extra" knights (members of the British royal family and foreign monarchs). The sovereign alone grants membership of the order; they are not advised by the government, as occurs with most other orders.

Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom for use in Scotland

The order's primary emblem is the thistle, the national flower of Scotland. The motto is Nemo me impune lacessit (Latin for "No one provokes me with impunity").

Depiction showing lion and unicorn, from Synagogue in Poland ca. 1600s.

lion and unicorn

At all events Scotland is associated with the Unicorn. The former Coat of Arms of Scotland showed two Unicorns. The present Coat of Arms of the UK has a  Lion and Unicorn with the unicorn representing Scotland.
The unicorn also represents the Tribe of Manasseh.
Ephraim and Manasseh were the sons of Joseph.

The Midrash (Numbers Rabah: BaMidbar 2;7) says that the Standard of Joseph was black in color and it depicted an emblem representing Egypt.
Today the Great Seal (official emblem) of the USA (as seen on a dollar bill) has pyramid calling to mind a picture  Egypt. It has an all-seeing eye above as spoken concerning Joseph.

The Midrash continues to see that the two divisions of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh, each had their own version of the flags.
In both cases the background color was black.
On the flag of Ephraim were was a bull, cf. "John Bull," popular nickname and image for England.

On the flag of Manasseh was a "raem" meaning a unicorn.
Unicorns did exist. Several different animals could have given rise to the popular image of a unicorn. In the not so distant past there existed a giant type of bull or cow known as an "auroch." In Ancient Mesopotamia the word for an auroch was "rimu" similar to the Hebrew "raem."
A sub-type of the auroch apparently often gave rise to a one-horned mutation.
Biblical Hebrew verses indicate the existence of a one-horned auroch.

Comparing the average size of an adult man to that of an auroch.

The unicorn image of Scotland is therefore the same as that attributed to the Tribe of Manasseh and many descendants of Israelites in Scotland descend from Manasseh.
The Caledonians in Scotland are from Gilead in the north of Israel and both east and west of the Jordan.

5. Declaration of Arbroath.  Democracy: Responsible Representation.
In 1320 the people of Scotland were at war with England who were trying to conquer it.
They wrote an appeal to the Pope of Rome. At that time all of Western Europe was nominally under the guidance of the Roman Catholic Church of which the Pope was the head. A claimant to the throne of Scotland, Robert the Bruce, had seized the throne despite the English having  put forward their own candidate. Most of the Scottish supported Robert the Bruce.  The Pope was trying to prevent hostilities and bring about a compromise with the English.
He excommunicated Robert the Bruce and three of his barons.
"The Scots sent the Declaration of Arbroath as part of a diplomatic counter-offensive. "

Extracts from the Declaration of Arbroath.
https://www.nrscotland.gov.uk/learning-and-events/the-declaration-of-arbroath/transcription-of-the-declaration-of-arbroath/

... Most Holy Father, we know and from the chronicles and books of the ancients we find that among other famous nations our own, the Scots, has been graced with widespread renown. It journeyed from Greater Scythia by way of the Tyrrhenian Sea {western mediterranean} and the Pillars of Hercules {Gibraltar}, and dwelt for a long course of time in Spain among the most savage peoples, but nowhere could it be subdued by any people, however barbarous. Thence it came, twelve hundred years after the people of Israel crossed the Red Sea, to its home in the west where it still lives today. The Britons it first drove out, the Picts it utterly destroyed, and, even though very often assailed by the Norwegians, the Danes and the English, it took possession of that home with many victories and untold efforts; and, as the histories of old time bear witness, they have held it free of all servitude ever since. In their kingdom there have reigned one hundred and thirteen kings of their own royal stock, the line unbroken by a single foreigner.

The high qualities and merits of these people, ... even though settled in the uttermost parts of the earth....

The Most Holy Fathers your predecessors gave careful heed to these things and strengthened this same kingdom and people with many favours and numerous privileges... Thus our people under their protection did indeed live in freedom and peace up to the time when that mighty prince the King of the English, Edward, the father of the one who reigns today, when our kingdom had no head and our people harboured no malice or treachery and were then unused to wars or invasions, came in a guise of a friend and ally to harass them as an enemy. The deeds of cruelty, massacre, violence, pillage, arson, imprisoning prelates, burning down monasteries, robbing and killing monks and nuns and yet other outrages without number which he committed against our people, sparing neither age nor sex, religion nor rank, no-one could describe nor fully imagine unless he had seen them with his own eyes.

But from these countless evils we have been set free, by the help of Him who though He afflicts yet heals and restores, by our most tireless prince, King and lord, the lord Robert. He, that his people and his heritage might be delivered out of the hands of our enemies, bore cheerfully toil and fatigue, hunger and peril, like another Maccabaeus {Judah the Maccabee deliverer of Judea from  the Hellenist Syrians} or Joshua. Him, too, divine providence, the succession to his right according to our laws and customs which we shall maintain to the death, and the due consent and assent of us all have made our prince and king. To him, as to the man by whom salvation has been wrought unto our people, we are bound both by his right and by his merits that our freedom may be still maintained, and by him, come what may, we mean to stand.

Yet if he should give up what he has begun, seeking to make us or our kingdom subject to the King of England or the English, we should exert ourselves at once to drive him out as our enemy and a subverter of his own right and ours, and make some other man who was well able to defend us our King; for, as long as a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be subjected to the lordship of the English. It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

Therefore it is, Reverend Father and Lord, that we beseech your Holiness with our most earnest prayers and suppliant hearts, inasmuch as you will in your sincerity and goodness consider all this, that, since with Him Whose vice-gerent on earth you are there is neither weighing nor distinction of Jew and Greek, Scotsman or Englishman, you will look with the eyes of a father on the troubles and privations brought by the English upon us and upon the Church of God. May it please you to admonish and exhort the King of the English, who ought to be satisfied with what belongs to him since England used once to be enough for seven kings or more, to leave us Scots in peace, who live in this poor little Scotland, beyond which there is no dwelling-place at all, and covet nothing but our own. We are sincerely willing to do anything for him, having regard to our condition, that we can, to win peace for ourselves.

This truly concerns you, Holy Father, since you see the savagery of the heathen raging against the Christians, as the sins of Christians have indeed deserved, and the frontiers of Christendom being pressed inward every day; and how much it will tarnish your Holiness's memory if (which God forbid) the Church suffers eclipse or scandal in any branch of it during your time, you must perceive. Then rouse the Christian princes who for false reasons pretend that they cannot go to the help of the Holy Land because of wars they have on hand with their neighbours. The real reason that prevents them is that in making war on their smaller neighbours they find a readier advantage and weaker resistance. But how cheerfully our lord the King and we too would go there if the King of the English would leave us in peace, He from Whom nothing is hidden well knows; and we profess and declare it to you as the Vicar of Christ and to all Christendom.

But if your Holiness puts too much faith in the tales the English tell and will not give sincere belief to all this, nor refrain from favouring them to our undoing, then the slaughter of bodies, the perdition of souls, and all the other misfortunes that will follow, inflicted by them on us and by us on them, will, we believe, be surely laid by the Most High to your charge.

To conclude, we are and shall ever be, as far as duty calls us, ready to do your will in all things, as obedient sons to you as His Vicar, and to Him as the Supreme King and Judge we commit the maintenance of our cause, casting our cares upon Him and firmly trusting that He will inspire us with courage and bring our enemies to nothing....

# The text describes the ancient history of Scotland, in particular the Scoti, the Gaelic forebears of the Scots who the Declaration claims have origins in Scythia Major prior to migrating via Spain to Great Britain "1,200 years from the Israelite people's crossing of the Red Sea".....It then claims that in the Kingdom of Scotland, "one hundred and thirteen kings have reigned of their own Blood Royal, without interruption by foreigners". The text compares Robert Bruce with the Biblical warriors Judah Maccabee and Joshua.

# The Declaration made a number of points: that Edward I of England had unjustly attacked Scotland and perpetrated atrocities; that Robert the Bruce had delivered the Scottish nation from this peril; and, most controversially, that the independence of Scotland was the prerogative of the Scottish people, rather than the King of Scots.....asserting Scotland's right to independence and national sovereignty, and its significance for democracy lies in its articulation of self-governance and the idea that people have the right to choose their leaders, even to depose a king who fails to protect their liberties.

The Declaration is believed to have influenced the formation of America.

See:
America's spirit of freedom was born in Arbroath in 1320

Extracts:

MacDonald-Lewis believes the Declaration of Independence, the charter that laid out the early principles of democracy in the United States, was not based on a model from the ancient Greeks or the Magna Carta as is widely believed, but was in fact based on the 14th-century Declaration of Arbroath.

"It's time to highlight these links much more widely and in language people can understand," she said. "If Americans want to understand their history, they need to look to Scotland, because that is where their ideals come from. And Scots should look across the Atlantic to see where their homegrown doctrines and ideas have been most fully embraced."

MacDonald-Lewis believes the similarities between the cries of freedom in both documents are a deliberate move by America's founding fathers - half of those who signed the Declaration of Independence were of Scottish ancestry. Robert the Bruce, meanwhile, was the first ruler in Europe to be brought to power by a system recognizable as modern democracy, by "due consent and assent of us all".

6. The Name "Manasseh" - Responsible Representation.
The Declaration of Arbroath encompasses the principle of being represented by those who answer to you.
This is responsible representation that gave rise to the American Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution.
This principle is embodied in the Hebrew meaning of the name "Manasseh" and the USA today pertains to Manasseh son of Joseph.
And so in the past did Scotland oertain to Manasseh as the Declaration of Arbroath and the Hebrew genealogy of Scottish tribes show.

The Declaration of Arbroath was not just a show of words but something real and of actual importance to the Scottish people.
It reflected actual Scottish sentiment.

# Voltaire (1694-1778), the French defender of civil liberties, said: "We look to Scotland for all our ideas of civilisation." #

See:
Joseph and America
Prophecies Identifying the USA as Belonging to Joseph
https://hebrewnations.com/articles/tribes/josephandamerica.html

# In General

Manasseh is the USA because:

Names of Tribes in Britain and Europe who mainly moved to North America are those of Clans from Manasseh.

The name "America" is derived from the Hebrew "Ha-Machiri" meaning 'Descendants of Machir' the first born son of Manasseh.

The name Manasseh in Hebrew means Responsible Representation which is the form of Government of the USA, and reflects its national character.

Manasseh was to become great after Ephraim (Genesis 48:19). This is explained by the "Bnei Yissachar" (Rabbi Zvi Elimelech Spira, 1783-1841, Marcheshvan 1:4), and by the "Malbim" (Rabbi Meir Leibush ben Jehiel Michel Weiser, 1809-1879). See Rabbi Fishel Mael, "Hashevetim," 5757, p. 490. Great Britain and its Dominions (representing Ephraim) preceded the USA in become great countries. The Natziv (Rabbi Naftali Zvi Yehuda Berlin, 1816-1893) says that the material prosperity of Manasseh was to later exceed that of Ephraim. #

Joseph and Democracy
https://hebrewnations.com/articles/biblical-proof/joseph/jodemo.html

Rabbi Shimshon  Rafael Hirsch explains that the Hebrew meaning of the name "Manasseh" connotes "Responsible Representation."
It is derived from word-root "Nosheh" in were find the following usages:
"Noshe" which a creditor gives his money to someone else but retains a link to it and demands responsibility for it.
"Noshim" women in the aggregate turn conduct of affairs over to their men but want it done properly.
"Noshia" forgetfulness i.e. Something "slips" your mind but is still there, somewhere, in the sub-conscious, attached to you.
"Menasseh" n as named by Joseph and implied trusting in God, putting what he had been aside but remaining aware of it.
Descendants of Menasseh from Scotland and other areas congregated in North America and gave rise to the USA.

7. Other Israelite Tribes in Scotland and Ireland.
Many Scots and Irishmen are red-haired. This was a tribal feature, according tot he Midrash,  of the Tribes of Levi and Simeon. King David of Judah was also red-haired (1-Samuel 15:12, 17:42)..
The father of the Italian astronomer, Galileo Galilei, 1564-1642) once wrote that the Irish love the harp since they believe they are descended from  King David. There may be something to this concerning some of them.

The Tribes of both Asher and Dan were prominent in Ireland and some of these were also to be found in Scotland.
Descendants of Jews from Judah were also reported.
